He made between 400 - 600 million between 2000 and today....yet had the nerve to complain about the virtually worthless stock options he holds now.  Pffft.....so sad

He also danced around the question, "Is it fair that you earned so much money?"

Congress doing what Congress does best. Talk and play to C-SPAN.

When Fuld is handed an indictment from a grand jury then I might be impressed with our 'system'.

True.  Good point.....it's just quite telling to see the BS answers and spin....you're right an indictment would speak many more volumes.

These are the same dweebs who voted for the bailout. They just want to appear as if they are doing something.
When the House comes out and starts holding hearings about the Federal Reserve and has a vote abolishing that sore on the face of our Republic then I might, for a second, have a shred of grudging respect for Congress.

I am finished with my former government. I consider myself in a position of detente with the government. But sooner rather than later, I and my former government will be at odds.

Hebrew was right when he said congress wants it to appear they are doing something. Fuld is just a very rich puppet, who will become the new pinata for the greedy corrupt politicians. He will play his part as the pompanos villainous banker and the congressmen will play their part as virtuous prosecutors who become offended by the audacity of this unscrupulous individual. He should go down in history as the poster child for corporate greed and face charges along with some of the other vampires. But unlike Kenneth Lay he and his family will be living on a private island with the blood money from Lehman's investors.
