Although edited from an obviously pro-Republican slant, the following clip seems to constitute smoking gun evidence that the Democrats are in no position to deny that they're in any way responsible for the current financial crisis:

What the editor of that clip conveniently fails to mention, of course, is that in 2004 the Republicans controlled not only the White House, but both houses of Congress. So they are largely to blame for this as well.

1. Democrats were the minority party in 2004. Democrats did not come into anything approaching power until 2006. 2004 was the year of The Bush Mandate.

BOTH the Demoblicans AND the Republicrats are to 'blame' for the financial sewer we are sinking in.

But, then so are WE, for...'voting'...for these statists yuks every election cycle, and standing by wringing our hands, tearing sackcloth and rubbing dirt in our hair while they spent us into oblivion.
