Hi, Aunt Teri:

I agree wth this email, except to point out that the Federal Reserve (or, more properly, the banks that own the Fed) is now fully in control.  Read this piece by Kurt Nimmo to see what’s really going on.

Martial Law Will Be Declared If Banker Bill Not Passed In House

Kurt Nimmo
Prison Planet
Friday, October 3, 2008

In House debate on the banker “rescue” bill, Rep. Brad Sherman told his fellow Congress critters the government will declare martial law and the stock market will drop 3,000 points if the bill is not passed. “The panic-mongers were to the point of telling people the market would drop 3,000 points and there would be martial law,” said Sherman.

Sherman’s comment was not in the same context as a comment issued by Rep. Michael Burgess earlier in the week. Burgess, who appeared on the Alex Jones Show, said Pelosi threatened to invoke House rule XIII(6)(a), described as “martial law,” intended to suspend normal procedures and safeguards and thus allowing the House leadership to operate in a more authoritarian fashion. Sherman, however, said martial law would be declared on Wall Street, not in the House.

Rep. Sherman said the “exaggerated fear-mongering turned out not to be true” and the House “can draft a good bill,” regardless of the pressure put on representatives to pass the banker bailout bill.

The bailout plan is not only “economic fascism,” as Richard Viguerie has correctly noted, designed to loot the U.S. Treasury and reorganize and further consolidate elite control over the economy, but it is also a brazen effort to impose a martial law and dictatorship. Paulson’s role as financial dictator, not answerable to Congress or the American people, fully compliments additional steps taken over the last few years.

As former California congressman Dan Hamburg said earlier this year, the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act gives the executive the power to invoke martial law in case of “major public emergencies,” not limited to “a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack,” but also “any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order.” Obviously, a financial crash and ensuing social chaos of the sort now being implemented by the ruling elite would be characterized as a dire emergency and a near perfect excuse to impose martial law, a long standing goal of the elite.

As well, the Military Commissions Act of 2006, codifying indefinite imprisonment of dissidents, and the National Security Presidential Directive 51, ensuring the “continuity of government” in the event of a “catastrophic emergency,” are tools the government will most assuredly use after the economy implodes, now a foregone conclusion according to many economists.

Numerous Bilderberg pronouncements, dutifully reported here at Infowars and Prison Planet but ignored by the larger corporate media, reveal what the global elite have in mind for us — an engineered economic crash followed by a consolidation of wealth under fire sale conditions. In order to successfully accomplish this, the elite must impose martial law and “maintain public order,” that is to say force the public to accept their terms by military force.

As the Army Times reported last month, a battle-hardened “homeland” brigade is now “going domestic” after spending time in Iraq. It appears this illegal deployment (under Posse Comitatus) is designed to respond to “public disorder” as the economy is deliberately and cynically dismantled at the behest of our rulers who are now investing in the Treasury and the executive, with the complicity of Congress, dictatorial powers heretofore unheard of in America.

Hello, again.

I spoke too soon when I said that I agreed totally with the piece that you sent me.  I apologize for the length of this email, but I feel the importance of the matters discussed requires a thorough (and, unfortunately, lengthy) discussion.  My main point of disagreement is the fact that, when it refers to Congress establishing the Federal Reserve as the sole repository of the Issuing Power constitutionally granted to Congress itself, Congress acted unconstitutionally, as the Issuing Power was granted to Congress to use and not to delegate, as, per founding father Benjamin Franklin, the central bank controversy was the prime trigger of the American Revolution.  (Let me make just two points to show the centrality of the central bank issue to everything going on now, including the attacks by the US establishment on US sovereignty.  Point one: Scottish Banker William Paterson (who was also the originator of fractional reserve banking, which I actually defend even in the face of Congressman Ron Paul’s attacks)  established the Bank of England in 1694 at the behest of certain bankers of the old German Hanseatic League, and, exactly twenty years and five days afterwards, England had her first German King (George I of the House of Hanover, who acceded to the throne in 1714, with the obvious mission of defending the German investment (and also recall that the Illuminati originated amongst German academics), which line of royalty continues to this day (Elizabeth II’s proper ancestral maiden name is Saxe-Coburg und Gotha).  Point two: read this concerning a Hazard Circular from the London Times dated 1865, concerning President Lincoln’s issuance of interest free government fiat currency:

http://21stcenturycicero.wordpress.com/fraud/the-history-of-money-part-2/

On the 12th of April 1861 this economic war began. Predictably Lincoln, needing money to finance his war effort, went with his secretary of the treasury to New York to apply for the necessary loans. The money changers wishing the Union to fail offered loans at 24% to 36%. Lincoln declined the offer. An old friend of Lincoln's, Colonel Dick Taylor of Chicago was put in charge of solving the problem of how to finance the war. His solution is recorded as this. "Just get Congress to pass a bill authorising the printing of full legal tender treasury notes... and pay your soldiers with them and go ahead and win your war with them also."
Colonel Dick Taylor When Lincoln asked if the people of America would accept the notes Taylor said. "The people or anyone else will not have any choice in the matter, if you make them full legal tender. They will have the full sanction of the government and be just as good as any money; as Congress is given that express right by the Constitution."
Colonel Dick Taylor 1 Lincoln agreed to try this solution and printed 450 million dollars worth of the new bills using green ink on the back to distinguish them from other notes. "The government should create, issue and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the government and the buying power of consumers..... The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of Government, but it is the Government's greatest creative opportunity. By the adoption of these principles, the long-felt want for a uniform medium will be satisfied. The taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest, discounts and exchanges. The financing of all public enterprises, the maintenance of stable government and ordered progress, and the conduct of the Treasury will become matters of practical administration. The people can and will be furnished with a currency as safe as their own government. Money will cease to
be the master and become the servant of humanity. Democracy will rise superior to the money power."
Abraham Lincoln 2 From this we see that the solution worked so well Lincoln was seriously considering adopting this emergency measure as a permanent policy. This would have been great for everyone except the money changers who quickly realised how dangerous this policy would be for them. They wasted no time in expressing their view in the London Times. Oddly enough, while the article seems to have been designed to discourage this creative financial policy, in its put down we're clearly able to see the policies goodness. "If this mischievous financial policy, which has its origin in North America, shall become endurated down to a fixture, then that Government will furnish its own money without cost. It will pay off debts and be without debt. It will have all the money necessary to carry on its commerce. It will become prosperous without precedent in the history of the world. The brains, and wealth of all countries will go to North America. That country
must be destroyed or it will destroy every monarchy on the globe."
Hazard Circular - London Times 1865

Finally, I must point out that, as many men and women have sat in Congress in and since 1913, the rot in our system involves many more individuals than just those sitting in Congress now, and seems to forget the few (such as Ron Paul (R-TX),  Brad Sherman (D-CA), Michael Burgess (R-TX), and Dennis Kucinich (D-OH)) who have courageously stood up to the ghouls currently in charge of our country, and those, such as Henry Waxman (D-CA), who have previously evidenced good intentions but have since been threatened into inactivity (don’t ask me to explain how I know this, just know that I do), as well as Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) and Elliott Spitzer (D-NY) (not a Congressman, but the former Governor of New York State, the home of Wall Street (and you can’t possibly know how angry I still am over the superbly timed public exposure of his hubris-engendered stupidity just as the US financial sector began to unwind), who have been removed from office because of their (probably unknowing) aggressive stances against the New World Order.  (Yeah, OK, I’m as mad at Spitzer for his having provided material for his NWO enemies as I am at those NWO enemies for having used that material.) (Two more people who are knowingly in a state of total combat against the New World Order despite their totally opposite political perspectives: Ted Nugent and Bob Dylan!)

If you really want a good primer on what’s going on, I suggest you read this rather lengthy piece by former Canadian diplomat (and probable CSIS (Canadian Security and Intelligence Service) agent, from his extensive knowledge of secret matters) Peter Dale Scott (and, no, he’s not just some reflexively anti-American Canadian jerk, but a very thoughtful critic of the current US rulership who’s definitely on the side of the American people and our sacred Constitution) at:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=9289

You may also want to read his pieces at:
http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=9511

(what he’s hinting at but not saying in this piece is that the man at the center of both the JFK assassination and 9/11 is George H. W. Bush, Sr., as I point out in my own piece from almost a year ago (reproduced below) based on sources completely separate from Mr. Scott’s); also see:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=10065

and:

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=10095

Notice, particularly, the undercurrent of narcotics trafficking underlying Mr. Scott’s account of the Kuo Min Tang, Sibel Edmonds’ testimony, and the Bush family throughout his narrative.  (Just to add to the confusion, the People’s Republic of China is actually part of the NWO, and the Kuomintang are actually part of the opposition to the NWO, but temporary and shifting alliances (particularly concerning narcotics trafficking) are a fact of the coalition of forces that have sought to rule the world since the Seventeenth Century.)

Cheers!

Bushes, Clintons, Oil, Drugs, and Recent Covert US History

by William Rausch

To understand recent American history, one must first grasp three essential facts.  The first is the decisive and unconstitutional control which global finance exerts over the United States government through the Federal Reserve System.[1}  The second is the massive laundering of funds derived from the global narcotics trade in which global finance and major global business corporations engage as a regular and principal part of their business activity.[2]  (Some multinational business corporations, particularly oil and oilfield services companies, actually engage in narcotics smuggling itself.[3]  This has been true since the days of the first multinational business corporations, such as the British East India Company, going back to the Seventeenth Century. [4])  The third is that the United States Central Intelligence Agency exists overwhelmingly, not as an actual intelligence reporting agency, but as a covert operational arm of big business, reshaping both American society[5] and the global political structure[6] to Wall Street’s whims.  Michael C. Ruppert summed it up nicely in one of the chapter titles of his groundbreaking book “Crossing the Rubicon”: “The CIA is Wall Street and Drug Money is King”.

Our story begins with the “Iron Triangle” opium trade from Laos, organized by CIA operatives George H.W. Bush, Sr. and Richard Armitage (currently the former Bush II Deputy Secretary of State).[7]  Our original involvement in Vietnam came in the form of Eisenhower’s “limited risk gambit”, but the “Military-Industrial Complex” of which Eisenhower spoke in his farewell address needed perpetual war to generate massive profits and to provide a crisis atmosphere in which massive repression of dissenting political viewpoints could be justified.  The Cuban Revolution provided the opportunity for such a war close to home, and, early in the Kennedy Administration, the Bay of Pigs operation (codenamed "Zapata" after George H.W. Bush, Sr.’s oil company, and at which two of the transport ships were the “Houston” and the “Barbara”, named after his residence and wife, respectively[8]) failed after Kennedy refused to “go overt” with reinforcement from the regular US armed forces.
The next opportunity for launching the perpetual war came with the Cuban Missile Crisis, which Kennedy defused peacefully much to the historically recorded infuriation of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (particularly Air Force chief Curtis LeMay).[9]  Kennedy also issued an executive order causing the issuance of two dollar and five dollar silver certificates,[10] greatly undermining the power of the fiat currency-generating Federal Reserve System.  He also reportedly prepared to make good on his post-Bay of Pigs threat to scatter the CIA to the four winds, to normalize relations with Cuba,[11] and to withdraw from Vietnam.[12]  He was soon replaced by the more pliable Lyndon B. Johnson, who greatly built up what was intended as the permanent war in Vietnam.[13]  (E. Howard Hunt has since confirmed CIA involvement in JFK’s assassination[14], and a photo exists which appears to show George H.W. Bush, Sr. at the scene within minutes of the assassination.[15]  Lee Harvey Oswald is visible in the background, chatting with a Dallas police officer.  Bush himself claims to be the only man in America alive at the time with no memory of where he was or what he was doing at the time of the assassination.)  One company which particularly profited from the Vietnam War was Brown and Root, which performed extensive construction work in support of the war effort.[16]  Brown and Root would eventually merge into Kellogg Brown and Root, a subsidiary of Halliburton Corp., and was discovered by the Russians to be smuggling heroin across Russia via the Trans-Siberian Railroad during the 1990’s.[3]  It is also notable that the war greatly facilitated the trafficking of narcotics from Laos,[17] and that the Black Power movement was crushed by the government with considerable assistance from Black street gangs empowered with cash [18] and drugs [19] supplied by the US government.
Since Vietnam, every war the US has involved itself in has concerned oil or drugs or both.  The 1991 Persian Gulf War and the current Iraq War obviously concern oil, the Somali adventure introduced the world to khat, and the Balkans conflicts saw the US fighting in support of the al Qaeda-linked Kosovo Liberation Army, in the process opening a new and shorter route for Afghan heroin to reach Europe.[20] Lebanon was close to oilfields and drug shipment routes.  Granada lies along drug smuggling routes and is near Caribbean money laundering havens.  Panama’s Manuel Noriega was a potential witness against Bush, Sr., for his role in cocaine smuggling in support of the Nicaraguan Contra war of the 1980’s (a major part of which cocaine passed through Intermountain Regional Airport in Mena, Arkansas while William Jefferson Clinton was governor [21]).  This massive smuggling activity triggered the crack epidemic of the 1980's.[22]  And Afghanistan, the graveyard of the Soviet Union, became a principal source of opium while the CIA built up al Qaeda and the rest of the “Afghan Arabs” [17] as its own covert force, headed by Osama bin Laden, son of close Bush family associate Mohammed bin Laden.[23]
In mid 2000, the Taliban government, creature of the CIA-created Pakistani Interservice Intelligence Agency (ISI), banned opium cultivation in Afghanistan.[24]  In September of that year, People for a New American Century, (PNAC, a Republican Party study group made up of followers of Neo-Conservative theoretician Leo Strauss (himself a student of National Socialist juridical philosopher Carl Schmitt)) issued a statement calling for a vastly expanded role for the US military in the post-Cold War world, and pointed out the fact that such a policy might be difficult to implement “…absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor.”[25]  It was also about this time that Caspian Sea oil reserves began to prove disappointing to the oil companies, lessening the importance of the Unocal pipeline across Afghanistan.[26]  A natural gas pipeline across Afghanistan was still feasible, however, and was necessitated by Enron’s huge new power plant in India, which was proving prohibitively expensive to supply with fuel.[27]  Yet the invasion, as announced by the Russians and the US at the end of June, 2001,[28] was timed for mid-October, the beginning of the opium planting season.[24]  Additionally, even though Enron began to publicly unwind on Friday, September 7, 2001, thus lessening the need for the natural gas pipeline, the invasion of Afghanistan was still enough of a priority that the 44,000 US troops and the 18,000 UK troops that had been built up in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan since 1997 remained there through the weekend, and beyond, until they were needed for America’s “Post-9/11 Response” in mid-October.[29]  The invasion of Afghanistan required that the PNAC team be in the White House in time for the projected invasion, which was accomplished when the Supreme Court of the United States, in an unprecedented decision which declared itself not to be used for legal precedent, reasoned that a recount of contested votes in Florida (which, according to press pool recounts, would have given Democratic candidate Al Gore the White House[30]) could not be conducted with uniform statewide standards by a date which was six days short of the date actually required.[31]  Thus did the Supreme Court use its collective gavel to hammer the square peg of the Bush team into the oval office, and 9/11, perpetual war, and the decimation of US Constitutional liberty ensued,  even as Afghanistan continued to produce bumper crops of opium under NATO occupation.[24]
