There are a few sheriffs around the country who have woken up and realized that they have the power and authority to send the Feds packing: GTFO or go directly to jail. I also agree that the State Police have overstepped the limits of the Constitution. Sheriffs are elected and accountable to the People. All of the rest are unelected and are a threat to liberty.

Nice    -Yeah the part about "police as a standing army" got my attention.  I often wonder how willing the police will be to oppress the general public when the dollars they are being paid are worthless.

Technically, cops are constitutional as any powers not granted to the federal government in the constitution are left to the states and local governments.

The cops are supposed to protect us from the feds.

This is why Alex always talks about the federalization of the local police.  It would be anti-constitutional to federalize the police.  And why he says it's the feds who are coming to get you, because they aren't authorized by the constitution.  They are the thug army of the bankers who have set up criminal (anti-constitutional) organizations in the federal government.  Criminal Justice System… if it was good guys putting bad guys in jail, then that would just be regular justice.  But we have the federal Criminal Justice System, because it is set up and run by criminals for their version of justice.

they try to get around it with the department of interior, thats whats unconstitutional. it allows state and local cops to trump county (sheriffs) officials who are constitutional.

That is correct--Sheriffs are Constitutional.  The Sheriff is supposed to be the highest order in law enforcement. They are supposed to be the head of militias in every state too.  They were also the ones to collect the taxes as well.

Not much.  There are a handful of good Constitutional judges out there--but only the few and far between, I am afraid.  Lawyers?  REAL constitutional lawyers are nearly extinct.  Of course I do not only blame them, the American citizen cannot be like Lady Justice--blind to the history of this country and blind to the Constitution and Bill of Rights.
