Ted Nugent on the Alex Jones Show

I would sure like to hear people weigh in on the statements of Ted Nugent on Jones' show. This is my take on it.

The show with guest Ted Nugent was terrific and enlightening as usual, but then it is the Alex Jones Show. I must admit that I do not much care who is on as a guest, although Jones certainly books some of the best and brightest. But the fact is that I have never met anyone, nor heard of anyone, who so completely illuminates the truth as Alex Jones does, and the main reason why I listen to his show is because it is the only true “no spin zone” on the planet that I know of (and I know plenty). Alex contains much this worlds universally benevolent courage and wisdom intrinsically burned into his very soul, and is one of the most realistic humans I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. He is a gift to all humanity and a true American that many people should gladly aspire to emulate. He says things I have ONLY heard come out of my own mouth.

Ted Nugent’s views on gun control and the inherent responsibility of all American’s to contribute daily to the oversight of government in this nation, and protect and defend her from all enemies foreign and domestic were truly refreshing and I commend him on his courageous words. Unfortunately, when given the opportunity to prove that he really believes in freedom and liberty for all in response to a caller to the Jones Show, who asked Nugent would he use his power as a sheriff’s deputy to arrest and send him to prison for growing Cannabis, the sixty year old rocker failed miserably

Suddenly Nugent began nearly foaming at the mouth and grunting “die hippie die”, saying things like Marijuana causes people to just lie around in a stupor doing nothing all day long like a bunch of degenerates. His statements could not be further from the truth, and they prove that he is only interested in HIS “brand” of freedom, not true and inalienable freedom and liberty for all. His divisive viewpoint is what begins a society on the road to tyranny. Disabusing citizens of their rights as humans and claiming that they are “the problem” (in a world dominated only by "solutions"), because they exercise their free will to consume an herb of the fields of this nation, which he claims god created, is maniacal and narrow minded. He has been watching too many cop shows, and is a complete hypocrite if he, or anyone in his family, uses pharmaceuticals, or ever has a shot and a beer, among other things. The true issue here is the nature of abuse of substances and the fact that this nation literally incubates and coddles drug and alcohol abusers…purposely destroying people for monetary gain by exploiting their human nature and intrinsic, and certainly inalienable, human frailties.

I have a brother who is one of the most law abiding and respectable people I know, and he smokes pot constantly…from the time he wakes up until he goes to sleep. In complete contrast to Nugent’s predication, my brother is also one of the hardest working people I know. He is difficult to keep up with. He works from dawn to well after midnight…and up at dawn again, “eight days a week”. I myself use Cannabis medicinally, and legally in my state, and the benefits are unmatched on this planet, with absolutely no side-effects. Moreover, I can hardly count the times I have sat back at the end of the work day with a nice relaxing “doobie” and experienced the calming effects, and slight shift in viewpoint which enabled me to realize missteps and otherwise invisible errant communications and mistakes of the day; then allowing me to understand, apologize for, and correct them. The demonic propaganda waged against Cannabis was for inhumane and nefariously oppressive, and greedy exploits, and history has proven that. Which makes Ted Nugent’s intolerant and divisive statements just that much more alarming.

Cannabis was, for over a century, the main ingredient in over 80% of all pharmaceuticals, with no side effects, and certainly nobody dying from them. The all out war on Cannabis and its red headed sister, Hemp, has done much to destroy this country and divide it in ways that allowed precedent to be set, literally enabling this nation to be eventually brought to its knees under the current tyrannical and despotic administration. Demonizing people for a freedom of choice issue (or anything else for that matter) sets a society on an extremely pervasive and corrupt course that will grow exponentially like a cancer. Outlawing Hemp in this nation has set technology and environmental progress nearly back to the dark ages, and drug laws in America have done much to contribute to the rampant availability of, and lucrative draw for, the really hard drugs like Cocaine, Heroine and Crystal Methamphetamine. Henry Ford built a car completely out of hemp that was stronger, more flexible, lighter and more durable than steel. Not to mention, drug laws have created incredibly powerful and extremely wealthy criminal enterprises and rampant organized crime…and much of these exploitative opportunists are currently controlling this nation and its government.

This is one of the only times I can recall in which I was disappointed with the Alex Jones Show, because Jones did not call a guest on his or her ignorant statements, and attempt to set the record straight, as I have come to expect from him. I truly hope this does not indicate a detour from his present course, Jones is the only person who I feel has proven time and again to be completely “incorruptible”. With the most critical and mitigatingly intrinsic factor governing his abilities and passion, being…they are natural and permanent, and to stray from them would destroy him. The extremely powerful nature of Jones’ soul literally demands that he follow a particularly lofty road, or risk becoming an even more powerful, and destructive, alter ego.

This nation is in uncharted territory, and extremely serious and turbulent times are on the horizon. History is being made on the Jones Show on a daily basis and this is the worst time for “hot heads” to be injecting divisive and extremely alienating personal views into the mix. The Constitution of the United States of America is very clear, nobody has the right to infringe on another’s life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, so long as that pursuit does not infringe on another’s life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. Hippies, philosophers, dreamers and lovers also have their place in this free society, right beside to the warriors, and all honorable contributions must be fully utilized. This nation can no longer afford to marginalize such a large portion of its population, and ignorantly continue to pigeonhole and discriminate against Cannabis smokers. Almost every person I have ever known that smokes Cannabis on a regular basis is very responsible and works a steady job; it is the person, not the weed. Conversely, it is the pervasive misinformation and propaganda stomped into peoples brains by the MSM, which are the real enablers of the destruction in this nation. Nugent should take his own advice which states “guns do not kill, people do”. A lazy, good for nothing person will be that way regardless of whether they smoke pot or not. Maybe Nugent would like to try Prohibition again, as well. How truly sad, for such an obviously fervent and passionate American to be so obtusely opposed to one of the most critically essential facets in the jewel of FREEDOM.
