So, based on what I know of the FRS (Federal Reserve System) let me get this straight:

http://money.cnn.com/2008/09/16/news/companies/AIG/index.htm?cnn=yes

The Federal Reserve - a cartel of PRIVATE banks - will print up 85 billion dollars (doesn't cost them anything really) and gain almost 80% leverage on the nation's largest insurance corporation?  And the reason they can get away with this total theft is because the majority of americans still believe that the FRS is a governmental institution that is there to help us?

Do I have that correct or am I missing something?

So instead of what happened during the 1929 crash where individual bankers would grab up companies for pennies on the dollar - now, this time around, they're masking the consolidation with the FRS which the average american still believes is part of the governmental structure?

Seriously?  Please tell me I'm missing something because I'm starting to get really mad. Sad
