This is good news. I wrote the following to accompany it for people who are not familiar with the topic.
A lot of people in New York did not believe the official account of 9/11 as a August 2004 Zogby poll indicated [1]. 49.3% of New York City residents polled stated that they believed that some of their leaders "knew in advance that attacks were planned on or around September 11, 2001, and that they consciously failed to act." Many residents are also aware that the 9/11 Commission was a whitewash. For those who didn't know, the 9/11 Commission report was replete with omissions and distortions. It did not even mention the collapse of WTC 7 and left out the testimonies of those who heard explosions going off in the buildings, [2]
Professor David Ray Griffin has documented the significant omissions and distortions in the 9/11 Commission Report and argues that they amount to a cover-up by government officials, indicating that the Bush administration was complicit in the 9/11 attacks, [3].
As New Yorkers we deserve a meaningful and transparent process to reveal to the fullest extent possible what really happened leading up to, on 9/11, and the period that followed.
The nation, and indeed the world will benefit from our efforts to obtain truth, accountability, and justice.
