Alan Watt is a smart guy in general, but his claims about the Old Testament and Yahweh are stupid.  The Israelites were commanded to kill all the Canaanites because they weren't exactly human.  Anyone who seriously reads the Bible will begin to understand that.  It's not hidden.  Nephilim, Rephaim, etc., were the descendants of fallen angels and human women and were totally evil.

Alan Watt claimed that the Old Testament was a manual for world conquest on the Alex Jones show last time I heard him.  That Yahweh was a bloodthirsty God or something like that.  He teaches that the Bible is used to control people.  Which is retarded.  People can only be controlled by the Bible if they don't know enough about it.  Which is true of anything.  The western ideas of free will and freedom wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Christianity.  The only reason Europe was enslaved for so long was because the Roman Catholics (paganism dressed-up as Christianity) didn't allow common people to read the Bible.  But as soon as the Bible was translated into the vernacular languages, and was widely disseminated using the printing press, guess what happened?

No, I'm saying that Christians who don't know much about the Bible can be controlled by it.  If you don't know much about Islam, however, someone can easily lie to you about it without you being aware. 

No, my religion did not stem from Catholicism.  Catholicism did not exist in the first few centuries A.D..  It was created around the time Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire.  And Christianity has plenty of historical evidence.  You just have to honestly search for it, and know where to look.

Yes.  Gnostics believe that Yahweh is an evil god and that Lucifer, the Serpent is good.  Totally upside down and backwards.  Gnostics also taught that Yahshua Christ didn't come in the flesh.  That he was just a spirit.  That teaching is one of the definitions given for the spirit of antichrist in John's first letter.
