You know what insults me?  Nutty schizophrenic Christians calling in to tell Alex that they have 40 pages of bible mumbo-jumbo to read because it vaguely relates to the Russian conflict, or the economy, or attacking Iran.  Usually sound like either toothless morons or middle-aged women who haven't left their house in 10 years.  All I can think when they call is "I wonder how many cats that lady has".
Anyone else feel the same?   Tongue

yes! but not the stereotypical examples your post sites.

ya know, they might as well be quoting Nostradamus to show how his quatrain's are relevant to current issues.

Which ones then...

The ones that understand that the last book is a late planted NWO prospectus... to keep the two sides entangled in the struggle to finally be played out at this point in technological development...?

Schizophrenia strange word I like to find the origins of words myself. Then when you add it to Christians it becomes a pretty strong statement interesting.

http://www.schizophrenia.com/history.htm

"The Swiss psychiatrist, Eugen Bleuler, coined the term, "schizophrenia" in 1911. He was also the first to describe the symptoms as "positive" or "negative." Bleuler changed the name to schizophrenia as it was obvious that Krapelin's name was misleading as the illness was not a dementia (it did not always lead to mental deterioration) and could sometimes occur late as well as early in life.

The word "schizophrenia" comes from the Greek roots schizo (split) and phrene (mind) to describe the fragmented thinking of people with the disorder. His term was not meant to convey the idea of split or multiple personality, a common misunderstanding by the public at large. Since Bleuler's time, the definition of schizophrenia has continued to change, as scientists attempt to more accurately delineate the different types of mental diseases. Without knowing the exact causes of these diseases, scientists can only base their classifications on the observation that some symptoms tend to occur together."

In my opinion, Socrates was on to something When he was Introducing the idea of Heraclitean flux, If he would have pursued it, He may have come up with a better explanation for it than what was put out in 1909.

It was 1911 not 1909 but it went from mental diseases to mental illness, and I still believe they have no idea. like Freud and Bernays conjecture and theories turn to fact. And they leave out the important stuff like this below from wikapedia,
The Theætetus (Greek: Θεαίτητος) is one of Plato's dialogues concerning the nature of knowledge. The framing of the dialogue begins when Euclides tells his friend Terpsion that he wrote a book many years ago based on what Socrates told him of a conversation he had with Theaetetus when he was quite a young man. Euclides had seen Theaetetus being carried off the battlefield with a case of dysentery and a minor war wound. Euclides says that Socrates correctly prophesied that Theaetetus would become a notable man if he lived long enough. The dialogue is read aloud to the two men by a slave boy in the employ of Euclides.

In this dialogue, Socrates and Theaetetus discuss three definitions of knowledge: knowledge as nothing but perception, knowledge as true judgment, and, finally, knowledge as a true judgment with an account. Each of these definitions are shown to be unsatisfactory. The conversation ends with Socrates' announcement that he has to go to court to answer to the charges that he has been corrupting the young and failing to worship Athenian Gods.
