Georgia’s President Mikhail Saakashvili supposedly hit Georgian Prime Minister Grigola Mgaloblishvili in the face and threw a phone at him. The subject of Mr. Saakashvili’s mental state has surfaced again in connection with the news report.

The report originally appeared in The Alia daily with reference to an anonymous source. The incident, the newspaper wrote, took place last week. According to eyewitnesses, the Georgian president hit the prime minister of the country in the face and threw a phone at him. It is not clear why such an incident happened and what drove Saakashvili mad. The insulted prime minister sent in his resignation immediately after the fight, but the president had not signed it yet, The Alia newspaper wrote. The press service of the Georgian president described the newspaper’s publication as “ravings, unworthy to comment.”

Russian psychiatrist Mikhail Vinogradov said after the military crisis in South Ossetia in August of 2008 that Mr. Saakashvili was a mentally unbalanced individual, who had been terribly frightened by what he had done.

“His twitching lips indicate his neurotic and diffident personality. This is an immature personality. He is an eternal boy, who cannot analyze his actions himself. He is constantly expecting someone to stroke him on the head. Such individuals are not prone to logic conclusions, as a rule. Saakashvili needs to take a course of the psychological correction of behavior,” the specialist said.

“The fact that he chews his tie in front of the cameras of foreign TV channels testifies to his high anxiety level. One may also say that he has lost control over his own behavior. He is at a loss, this imbecile person is gripped and guided by fear,” Vinogradov emphasized.

Saakashvili commented the episode with his tie only several months afterwards. “My feelings about the country can make me eat my tie. However, the most important thing is that the enemy did not see our back,” he said.

Saakashvili lied: “the enemy” [Russia] could see every detail of his back. “The enemy” and the whole world even saw Saakashvili rolling on the ground covered by the bodies of his Ukrainian bodyguards.

Specialists of the Moscow-based Serbsky Center for Social and Forensic Psychiatry believe that Mikhail Saakashvili’s behavior testifies to his extreme emotional exhaustion and unfavorable condition.

“Judging upon those pieces of information that we can obtain here, we can say that this man suffers from a very serious stress, that is why he can not control his involuntary actions,” Professor Farid Safuanov said.

Psychiatrists from Austria, Holland, Finland and Switzerland also analyzed Saakashvili’s actions. They paid attention to the fact that Saakashvili was growing without a father and was in poor relations with his stepfather. His social growth in his childhood was abnormal. As a result, he developed a desire for power to compensate his own impairment and substitute the lack of parental affection. This phenomenon can be referred to as a mental disease.

Foreign specialists concluded that Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili suffers from paranoid dysfunction in conjunction with the narcissist type of hysterical personality. However, the diagnosis does not mean that the Georgian president is that much inadequate and incapable of taking responsibility for his actions.

Lyudmila Veretilo, a research officer of the St. Petersburg-based Psychological Institute named after Bekhterev, told Pravda.ru that the psychology of politicians did not differ from that of common people. “We do not know all the reasons behind Saakashvili’s behavior. However, his behavior shows that he has become dangerous to others,” she said.

Outbursts of aggression are typical of many people in politics. Saakashvili’s case makes it clear that he is incapable of controlling his emotions. It may also depend on the fact that there is no one to punish him.

To crown it all, Mikhail Saakashvili likes to mention that he has the same date of birth as Joseph Stalin, December 21st. No comments from the peanut gallery.

It would take a psychotic to take a minuscule military against the second largest and most advanced land force on the Asian continent.
Or simply following orders.

Do 'taking orders' and 'extortion' fall in the same camp?

One and the same, usually, when dealing with the globalist empire.
Follow orders...or else.

They have a powerful toolbox including money, promises of this that and the other thing, sex, power, threats, etc. and they do it all with our money. It's an amazing scam, really.

Wasn't he promised to be in Nato?  I thought that was going around, and that was the reason he did it.  After the war, he had called Bush asking when his country would be in Nato!!  If I remember right!!

Georgia, or him? Who knows. I sometimes wonder if things like NATO and NORAD aren't just empty brands, to help us make sense of the global turmoil.

Russia has been pushing this story for 2 months. They've been saying he is mentally ill on Russia Today daily. He probably is, he was caught on TV eating his tie while obviously extremely panicked. I am thinking he was just tricked into attacking S. Ossetia for the Geopolitical Tacticians to see Russia's response time and capabilities, so Saakashvili is being strung along and when he is no longer useful he will be overthrown, which should be within a few months in my opinion.

Besides the tie-eating incident, he was so anxious just to get into NATO, that he attacked one of the most heavily-armed countries in the world. Yeah, I'd say the psychopathy diagnosis is pretty correct.

They're all psychopaths. Saakashvili is just bad at hiding it.

Medvedev of Russia accused him of being a raving drug addict. This seems about right, from all I've heard about this guy.. We all know that Bush Sr. and son have been huge drug abusers. It's just a bunch of complete nuts we are dealing with.

Not only is he a psychopath, but he's pretty darn stupid. The idea of attacking an area secured by Russian peace-keepers and then hoping that Russia would be reluctant to respond is completely ridiculous. Russia did what it had to do and it did a very responsible job of it at that!
