Thank you very much for posting this.
I remember Jim Morrison, for real. He and his woman came to live in my neighborhood in Paris, rue Beautreillis in Le Marais. They were almost unnoticed. You had to know they were there. On another occasion, I ran into John Lennon and Yoko Ono one night at the Russian Tea Room in NYC. It was a night before Christmas in 1975. I remember it, like if it was yesterday.
It is all down there in memory lane to remind me how things have changed certainly not for the better.
Power and greed will annihilate the world.
Very cool. Glad you are here.
I used to live around the corner from where John Lennon & Yoko were; The Dakota on the upper Westside of NYC. I remember the day he was killed and all the people that gathered in front of his apartment building to mourn his passing.
Yes, Morrison was an amazing artist. Funny thing is, I have read about him, biographies and such, but it is not until you hear him talk on these interview **tapes that you realize what depth and wisdom this young man had.
** There is also an interview series with the L.A. Free Press, very rough audio quality, but VERY interesting as well.
