Quote
The Matrix is a 1999 science fiction-martial arts-action film written and directed by Larry and Andy Wachowski and starring Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss, Joe Pantoliano, and Hugo Weaving. It was first released in the USA on March 31, 1999, and is the first entry in The Matrix series of films, comics, video games, and animation.

The film describes a future in which reality perceived by humans is actually the Matrix, a simulated reality created by sentient machines in order to pacify and subdue the human population while their bodies' heat and electrical activity are used as an energy source. Upon learning this, computer programmer "Neo" is drawn into a rebellion against the machines. The film contains many references to the cyberpunk and hacker subcultures; philosophical and religious ideas; and homages to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Hong Kong action cinema, Spaghetti Westerns, and Japanese animation.

While we're at it, take a look at what track number 11 is called on this album:
http://www.amazon.com/Out-Of-The-Loop/dp/B000TEVFV0/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1218906095&sr=8-1
Then take a look at the at the artist's name, and the date the album was released. Perhaps it's better if you don't though, this stuff is enough to turn any man in a schizophrenic.

I was working in a record store. Tues sep 11 01 was record release day. The album "God Hates Us All" by slayer was released that day. They sent us fake tickets as a promotional. Anyways the tickets say September 11, 2001 SLAYER GOD HATES US ALL.  Your ticket has you seated in aisle 666 etc. I remember the irony hitting me like a piano falling out of the sky. Still got those tickets maybe i'll post at some point.

The Sacred Heart is often depicted in Christian art as a flaming heart shining with divine light, pierced by the lance-wound, surrounded by a crown of thorns, and bleeding. Sometimes the image is over Jesus' body with his wounded hands pointing at the heart.

The dream theatre album Rothscum posted. Apple in place of the heart, sacrifice?

I would chalk all of them up to coincidence except for the Simpsons and The Matrix. Matt Groening is a big 2nd amendment and pro-truth activist. The Matrix guys.. well, I think they are time travelers here to send us a message. (not really, but I wouldn't doubt it)

What about the speech from "The Long Kiss Goodnight? - 1996
