This is a disturbing site I came across. It gives grants to students as they "experiment" on us without our knowledge. Read through the list of what they are gathering reports about. It involves studying, among other things, how the masses would react to scenarios including ;
“The Political Backlash Against Globalization? Framing Effects, Information, and Attitudes Towards International Trade.”
“An Investigation of Order Effects in the Measurement of Aggression and Aggressive Cognition.”
“The Indirect Effects of Discredited Stereotypes: Social and Political Traits in Judgments of Jewish Leaders.”,
“How Far Should We Extend the Helping Hand?: Attitudes about Government Assistant for the Unemployed by Race, Incarceration Status and Worker History.”
“Chronic Losers and Democracy”
If your not concerned by now, let me quote the finishing paragraph of the article;
TESS also gives social scientists opportunities to propose innovative Internet-based experiments. TESS pays the cost of running these experiments and has them administered by the industry-leader in Internet-based experiments, Knowledge Networks. In recent months, TESS has accepted the following innovative proposals and has, or will soon, run them on large randomly selected samples of the U.S. population:
Allyson L. Holbrook The University of Illinois at Chicago Oak Park (Departments of Public Administration and Psychology) and Jon A. Krosnick, Ohio State University (Department of Psychology) for a study on social desirability and reports of voter turnout.
Mick P. Couper University of Michigan (Department of Sociology) and Maria Krysan University of Illinois - Chicago (Department of Sociology) for a study on race of interviewer effects using visual cues.
Melanie C. Green and John Sabini University of Pennsylvania (Department of Psychology) for a study on reactions to infidelity.
Alexander Todorov Princeton University (Department of Psychology) for “The Costs of Misperceiving Public Opinion: Majority Support for Minority Supported policies.”
I thought I'd add my 2 cents' worth, because sociology's kind of my thing (hence the username, lol)...There seems to be a lot of talk going on in psychology, psychiatry, and sociology circles (which most orgs in these areas have largely turned over their research authority to the federal govt.) about how it's imperative (to them, at least ; to me, it's asinine) to separate the American people, dividing them over petty issues so as to start chaos (so as to fulfill the whole "order out of chaos" crap), even if the basis for the division is not even real. They could literally change the sociological blueprint for this entire country if they do this completely. They're not just dividing us into 2 groups like earlier election years (democrat/republican, liberal/conservative, pro-life/pro-choice), but they are going above and beyond to try and find NEW and ENHANCED methods for "homewrecking", so to speak. They WANT us at each others' throats, so that they (the nwo) can swoop in without any objections from anyone, because we'll be so thrilled to have a nice FEMA camp to live in instead of cardboard boxes (because the banks stole our houses from us) , and we'll be just praising the name of the UN for their "blessings" like food and water that doesn't kill you (not immediately, at least) and the fact that we have some semblance of "order", instead of the rampant murder, rape, and generalized craziness.
