the "FLicKeR" documentary is bad ass! nice link. Along similar psychedelic lines....

The Avant-Garde filmmakers were/are interested in what happened to their films after they enter the eye. Scientifically, "watching a movie" is simply light bouncing off a wall then into your light sensing organs...your eyes. Everything after that happens inside your mind.

ie: If you show an abstract/non-narrative film to 50 people, every individual has their own personal film interpretation inside their mind. So, 1 film can produce 50 entirely different interpretations at the same time.

The ideas of these Avant-Garde filmmakers explore reality...."i think, therefore i am","Matrix" kinda stuff. They're also about freedom: You don't have a "story line" or "plot" telling you what to think. Also, abstract is the opposite of propaganda. Avant-Garde ideas scare the NWO.

Yes! Even in 1867 when the first crude motion picture cameras and projectors were being created they understood that this was more than just plain entertainment. It was a powerful way to stimulate and manipulate the mind of the viewer.

There is a fantastic documentary you would probably really dig "The Last Machine: Early Cinema and the Birth of the Modern World (1995) BBC Documentary with Terry Gilliam". It touches on the connection between early motion picture technology and Mesmerism! Very interesting!

The American form of government

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhBcqHlpUks

Ah, I've always loved that one! It really simplifies the choice when it comes to what type of government/society you really want: Oligarchy (rule by a few/the elite) or a republic (rule by FIXED laws as opposed to "change" at the whims of the masses). 10 minutes and you just can't watch it enough.

State of Fear (audio book)

Authors note and Appendix 1 (27:36)

Excerpt from an audio edition of State of Fear including the Authors note and Appendix 1.
Michael Crichton is scathing in his criticism of Global Warming/Climate Change fear mongering.

Michael Crichton was not only onto the Man Made Climate Change fraud he was awake when it comes to the NWO. In the appendix of State of Fear he compares the theory of "Man Made Climate Change" and "Global Warming" to the Eugenics movement of the early 20th century and he goes into great detail to make his point. He makes the connection between the Rockefellers and the NAZI eugenics camps. He mentions Charles Galtin, the Carnegie foundation, and Cold Springs Harbor laboratory.

In my opinion he was totally awake to the NWO.

Articles about State Of Fear

Global Warming, the Politicization of Science, and Michael Crichton's State of Fear
College of Geoscience University of Oklahoma

By David Deming

http://www.scientificexploration.org/journal/jse_19_2_deming.pdf

Abstract-Michael Crichton's book State of Fear addresses the politicization
of science, in particular the topics of climate change and global warming,
through the vehicle of a novel. In the author's opinion, Crichton is correct: the
field of climate research has become highly politicized. An example is
provided by the revisionist efforts of some researchers to extinguish the
existence of a Medieval Warm Period. The politicization of science is a threat
to the process of free inquiry necessary for human progress.

Crichton’s State of Fear...
by Kenneth Green

http://www.fraserinstitute.org/Commerce.Web/product_files/Green.pdf

State of Fear (HarperCollins Publishers,2004, 603 pages) is actually
three books in one—a fast-paced thriller, like Andromeda Strain and Jurassic
Park; an explication that’s too rarely seen in fiction of scientific arguments,
complete with 18 pages of references; and, finally, a five-page
policy brief of the author’s conclusions drawn from the science he
learned while writing his novel.

Let’s take a look at the three books within State of Fear one at a time.

Sound & Light Brain-Machine

Way back in the year 1969 two significant events occurred involving space exploration. One was the Apollo XI moon landing (outer space) and the other was the three day Woodstock Music Festival (inner space). Both of these important events left a historical mark and set the stage for future exploration. With the development of new technologies, our ability to explore outer and inner space has expanded and become more accessible.
Insert alternative description here

These new Trip Glasses bring a bit of the Woodstock era to the modern day. They allow you to safely meditate, hallucinate, trip out and generally relax with your eyes gently closed. The built-in LEDs will flash in sequences that your brain will naturally try to interpret, resulting in various beautiful patterns produced by your own mind.

How to use the Trip Glasses.

1. Put on the headphones and glasses
2. Close your eyes gently
3. Press the button
4. Meditate, hallucinate, trip out and enjoy with your eyes gently closed the entire time

Trip Glasses turn themselves off automatically after 14 minutes, so you can just relax and "go with the flow". They also include small stickers that can be placed over the LEDs to dim the light if it happens to be too bright.

    * Blinking lights and sound guide you into gentle meditation
    * Just push the button to start
    * Batteries included - ready to go!
    * Takes one CR2032 coin cell
    * Fun at parties
    * Warning: Rapidly blinking lights may cause seizures, please see product documentation for full details

Film Review: Shouting Fire Will Have You Seeing Red

by Fil Salustri
Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at 01:06 AM EDT

I recently saw the new documentary “Shouting Fire: stories from the edge of free speech.” I must say, it’s well-worth watching. The film is about the First Amendment and free speech in the United States. More specifically, it’s about the perceived endangerment of free speech in the US. It consists of a collection of stories, each revolving around the use and abuse of free speech. There’s even a Facebook page for people to find out more about the film and engage in discussions. There is a clearly political tone to the piece: it’s makers seem staunchly in favour of the First Amendment as an inviolate tenet of American life, to be sacrificed for no one and nothing.

You may find yourself at once attracted and repulsed by this documentary. I certainly was. The story of Debbie Almontaser, for instance, is a great example of how a thoughtful, caring person – who happens to be Muslim – was torn to shreds by the mass media. Although Ms. Almontaser always represented herself thoughtfully and intelligently, she was naive enough to speak in ways that were easily twisted by certain news outlets and anti-Muslim racist groups in the US to appear to suggest exactly the opposite of what she actually meant. Here is a case of good words, utterly in perhaps the wrong context, or with a lack of appreciation for the peculiarities of certain segments of American culture, becoming bad ones. Perhaps Ms. Almontaser was too naive. But it appears quite certain that a significant number of New Yorkers displayed ignorance on a cosmological scale, a streak of malice as wide as the Mississippi River, and a nearly clinical lack of empathy.

The documentary also covers the story of Ward Churchill, who was removed from his post as a Professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder for “research misconduct.” Churchill’s writings are intentionally controversial and inflammatory (check out his titles in Google Scholar). The man is clearly well-educated and has an excellent grasp of English. It seems, then, that he intentionally chooses to write and say things that piss people off...

These are just two examples of the stories that are covered in this documentary.

You might love it, or you might hate it. But whatever else, you’ll be glad you watched it.

Z.P.G. is a full-length science fiction film that was released in 1972, in the wake of Paul R. Ehrlich's best-selling book The Population Bomb. The movie concerns an overpopulated, very polluted future Earth, whose world government executes those who violate a 30-year ban on procreation. "Z.P.G." stands for "Zero population growth".~

In the not too distant future, a very smoggy and overpopulated Earth government makes it illegal to have children for a generation. One couple, unsatisfied with their substitute robot baby, breaks the rules and gets in a lot of trouble.~

Centeries into the future, the world is overpopulated and polluted and on the verge of collapse. The government's of the world are desperate and so make the painful decision to ban the birth of babies for 30 years. Brainwashing and robot substitutes are used to quell the yearning for children with the death penalty as the ultimate deterrent. Despite this, one couple have a baby.~

Climate Chains - documentary that exposes extreme environmentalism
« Reply #56 on: February 02, 2010, 06:01:39 AM »
Climate Chains

VIDEO
http://www.climatechains.com/view-film.html

About Climate Chains

One of the greatest threats to freedom and prosperity in America is climate change legislation. Federal and state governments are focused on passing legislation to reduce greenhouse gases, mainly carbon dioxide, emitted through the combustion of fossil fuels. This legislation is known to have profound effects on the livelihood and economic well-being of Americans. It is about more than just money and taxes; it’s about the massive erosion of the world’s standard of living.

Fortunately, America’s wealth and prosperity have made ours one of the cleanest environments in the world. But the fact that improved environmental quality goes hand-in-hand with economic prosperity is often overlooked. Both flourish when property rights are respected and the rule of law is enforced.

Because of both the lack of environmental benefits and the substantial costs associated with climate legislation, Cascade Policy Institute, in association with Victory Studios, is spearheading a video campaign to educate politicians and the American public about this important issue.

Climate Chains is a 22-minute documentary that exposes extreme environmentalism and the misguided pursuit of cap-and-trade legislation. Climate Chains not only explains the dangers of this legislation but offers an alternative to top-down regulation in the form of free market environmentalism.

About Cascade Policy Institute

Oregon’s Premier Public Policy Think Tank

Founded in 1991, Cascade Policy Institute is a nonprofit, nonpartisan public policy research and educational organization. Cascade’s mission is to develop and promote public policy alternatives that foster individual liberty, personal responsibility and economic opportunity. (read more)

Publications, Events, and Programs

Cascade publishes policy reports, newsletters, commentaries and weekly news briefs on a variety of topics, including education, fiscal policy, the environment, energy, growth management, transportation, rural issues, health care, social services and more. Cascade hosts conferences and lectures featuring local and national experts and organizes educational programs for students. Cascade’s Summer Internship Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a strong foundation in the philosophy of freedom and the opportunity to research, analyze and publish their findings on current Oregon policy issues. Cascade facilitates the Children’s Scholarship Fund-Portland, which provides privately funded partial tuition assistance to low-income Oregon families to send their children to the schools of their choice.

Policy, Not Politics

Those who subscribe to the principles of individual liberty, limited government and free markets call themselves by many names, including conservative, liberal and libertarian. Cascade combines an appreciation for private enterprise and the market process with a respect for civil liberties. In short, we believe that human happiness, prosperity and social harmony require a limited government that upholds property rights and leaves individuals free to pursue their dreams.

As a policy research organization, Cascade necessarily examines many issues that one day will be decided at the ballot box or in the legislature. That said, the Institute focuses on ideas, not on politics. Cascade is independent; it is not affiliated with any political party or organization. Further, Cascade does not endorse candidates, ballot initiatives or legislation. Instead, the Institute takes a long-range approach to its mission, working to stimulate debate on questions of policy and the proper role of government in a free society.

Funding Sources

Cascade Policy Institute is supported by the generous, voluntary contributions of individuals, businesses and foundations. Cascade does not solicit or accept any government funding. Cascade is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization. Contributions are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by state and federal law.

Loren Singer

Loren Adelson Singer (5 March 1923, Buffalo, New York – 19 December 2009, Valhalla, New York) was an American novelist, best-known for his 1970 political thriller, The Parallax View, which was made into a successful 1974 film, of the same name, starring Warren Beatty, Paula Prentiss, Hume Cronyn and William Daniels.

Singer was born in Buffalo, New York on March 5, 1923 and enlisted in the United States Army after he completed high school. He was sent to Yale University by the Office of Strategic Services to study the Malay language, but the war ended before he could serve in the field. While with the OSS, Singer learned the details of covert operations that became the theme of many of his novels. After the war ended, Singer earned an undergraduate degree in English from the Ohio State University in 1947.

He married Erma Rosenstadt in 1947, and the couple moved to New York City in the early 1950s. There Singer worked for his father-in-law's printing business while he wrote for such television programs as Kraft Television Theater, Studio One and Westinghouse Playhouse.

His 1970 book The Parallax View told the story of a reporter who follows the track of a series of witnesses who are found dead in the trail of the assassination of a presidential candidate, whose death had been attributed to a lone gunman. The book was written in 1970 at a time when questions still swirled over a series of political assassinations in the previous decade. The book allowed him to leave his job as a printing salesman working for his father-in-law and was the first movie that Doubleday pushed into film production. The film starred Warren Beatty, Paula Prentiss, Hume Cronyn and William Daniels.

Other novels Singer wrote included the 1973 police procedural That's the House, There, in which the story is told as one side of the telephone conversations of a police sergeant, while his 1974 book Boca Grande covered intrigue in Cuba on a Nassau-Jamaica yacht race. His 1993 novel Making Good told the story of a conspiracy discovered by U.S. Army soldiers who uncover a trove of Nazi looted art.

A resident of Mamaroneck, New York, Singer died on December 19, 2009, aged 86. He was survived by his wife, three sons and three grandchildren.

The Adjustment Bureau - Philip K. Dick's NWO
« Reply #62 on: May 15, 2010, 02:03:00 AM »

The Adjustment Bureau is an upcoming film loosely based on the Philip K. Dick short story, Adjustment Team, which features a smooth-talking congressman (Matt Damon) whose political future is thrown in doubt by uncontrollable events. Matt Damon plays David Norris who seems to be destined for national political stardom, but discovers that there are forces at work trying to keep him apart from a recent love interest. This actually looks pretty solid.

Irena Salina's award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century - The World Water Crisis.

Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world's dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel.

Interviews with scientists and activists intelligently reveal the rapidly building crisis, at both the global and human scale, and the film introduces many of the governmental and corporate culprits behind the water grab, while begging the question "CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?"

Beyond identifying the problem, FLOW also gives viewers a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and those developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround.

dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y
by Johan Grimonprez

Video
http://vimeo.com/7197927

Buckle up for DIAL H-I-S-T-O-R-Y, the acclaimed hijacking documentary that eerily foreshadowed 9/11. We meet the romantic skyjackers who fought their revolutions and won airtime on the passenger planes of the 1960's and 1970's. By the 1990's, such characters were apparently no more, replaced on our TV screens by stories of anonymous bombs in suitcases.

Director Johan Grimonprez investigates the politics behind this change, at the same time unwrapping our own complicity in the urge for ultimate disaster. Playing on Don DeLillo's riff in his novel Mao II: "what terrorists gain, novelists lose" and "home is a failed idea", he blends archival footage of hijackings with surreal and banal themes, including fast food, pet statistics, disco, and his quirky home movies. David Shea composed the superb soundtrack to this free fall through history, best described in the words of one hijacked Pepsi executive as "running the gamut of many emotions, from surprise to shock to fear, to joy, to laughter, and then again, fear."

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

The Marketing of Madness Are We all Insane? (2010)

This is the story of the high-income partnership between psychiatry and drug companies that has created an $80 billion psychotropic drug profit center. But appearances are deceiving. How valid are psychiatrists’ diagnoses–and how safe are their drugs?

Psychiatrists tell us that the way to fix unwanted behavior is by altering brain chemistry with a pill. But unlike a mainstream medical drug like insulin, psychotropic medications have no measurable target illness to correct, and can upset the very delicate balance of chemical processes the body needs to run smoothly.

Nevertheless, psychiatrists and drug companies have used these drugs to create a huge and lucrative market niche. And they’ve done this by naming more and more unwanted behaviors as “medical disorders” requiring psychiatric medication. But should these really be called diseases? So the question is: How did psychotropic drugs, with no target illness, no known curative powers and a long and extensive list of side effects, become the go-to treatment for every kind of psychological distress? And how did the psychiatrists espousing these drugs come to dominate the field of mental treatment?

No Guns for Jews

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4H-qOUmCrIU

Aaron Zelman's organization, Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership, is well known in second amendment circles as an outfit that takes no ideological prisoners. The JPFO has released a video, No Guns for Jews, that states the case as well as anything I have seen.

The video makes it clear that Jews have been at the wrong end of the barrel for longer than there have been barrels. There is a long tradition of disarmed Jews -- so long, in fact, that Jews have mentally accepted it. Zelman is trying to change their minds.

The problem he faces is this: the documents that the video offers for support -- the Pentateuch, the Talmud, and their medieval commentators -- are out of favor in modern Jewish circles. The other document -- the United States Constitution -- has also been out of favor on this issue in many gentile circles.

Standard Operating Procedure

http://www.sonyclassics.com/standardoperatingprocedure/index.html

Standard Operating Procedure is a 2008 documentary film which explores the meaning of the photographs taken by U.S. military police at the Abu Ghraib prison in late 2003, the content of which revealed the torture and abuse of its prisoners by U.S. soldiers and subsequently resulted in a public scandal. The film was directed by Errol Morris.
