ZAM ZAM DISPLACEMENT CAMP, Sudan (CNN) -- Sudan's Darfur crisis has exploded on many fronts -- violence, hunger, displacement and looting -- but United Nations peacekeepers say the biggest issue now affecting the region is the systematic rape of women and children.

UNAMID police officer Ajayi Funmi, left, educates Darfur women about rape.

Thousands of women -- as young as four -- caught in the middle of the struggle between rebel forces and government-backed militias have become victims of rape, they say, with some aid groups claiming it is being used as a weapon of ethnic cleansing.

"That is one of the biggest issues in Darfur -- the rapes, and crimes against women and children," says Michael Fryer, UNAMID's police commissioner, the United Nations peacekeeping force deployed to try to tackle the violence.

Relief workers say they are powerless to stop the attacks and they say if they do speak out they fear the Sudanese government will tell them to leave the country.

Humanitarian group Refugees International in a report last year said rape was "an integral part of the pattern of violence that the government of Sudan is inflicting upon the targeted ethnic groups in Darfur."

Some relief workers say almost 100 percent of women living in aid camps have been raped or become victims of gender-based violence, with many teenagers forced by militiamen to have sex multiple times while running regular errands such as collecting firewood.  Watch women face dangers in Darfur »

They say the situation has now become so bad, many women are now resigned to rape attacks as a way of life and men are unwilling to accompany them because they fear they will be killed if they try to defend them.

But despite the extent of the abuse, the Sudanese government insists there is no problem, adding to the difficulties faced by the victims who are often ostracized by their communities or fall foul of a legal system seen as favoring their attackers.

"There is no rape in Darfur," says Mohammad Hassan Awad, a Humanitarian Aid Commissioner for West Darfur, who accuses foreign aid workers of persuading people in refugee camps to make false claims.

While few aid workers dispute the extent of the attacks against women, they say survivors are unwilling to come forward -- but those that do reveal shocking levels of abuse.

"She said they removed their scarves and used it to tie them up and were taking turns to rape them -- one is 13 years old the other one is 16 years," says Ajayi Funmi of the UNAMID police, who is trying to educate women told CNN after talking to two girls.

Making matters worse, aid workers say scores of babies conceived through rape are being dumped by their mothers.

"Abandoned babies are reported but because of the stigma attached to it there is no detailed report because the women don't come forward," says Dr Naqib Safi of the U.N. children's body UNICEF.

As many as 20 babies a month are being dumped in one camp of 22,000 people.

With both U.N. officials calling for more female officers to better educate women against rape and women saying they won't feel safe until the under-equipped and undermanned United Nations force is strong enough to protect them, the situation shows little sign of

So... then..

Hell, you can't really say that about any city or region in the world with a population larger than 1.
I mean - the potential's always there.

Mr. Awad - if there's no rape in Darfur - would you be willing to let your mother, sister, daughter, aunt, wife - or any female you care about wander there or live there for a week or two alone?

Just curious.... Wink

In order to legitamately screw over the 3rd world peoples, the elite need to create chaos and plight there, which apparently they are effectively doing.
Where are the heroes of "Team America"?  Ohhhhhh,  they are  "liberating" the middle east by murdering innocent civilians so Bush and his oil mafia buddies can liquidate and price fix the black gold stranglehold!

Since America is such a champion of justice, you would think we would immediately send troops to Darfur to stop these humanitarian crimes.  But ooops, theres no money in it for the elite.  Like the people in Haiti eating f**king mud cookies while the elite lavish themselves with their $500 dollar a plate meals at their podium parties.

Not only that, but it is against US policy.  See, the Whitehouse APPROVES of raping 4 year olds, according to John Yoos memos.  And it APPROVES of torturing and murdering children, as evidenced by the still employed Michael Reagan, and their unflinching support of the Blackwater mercenaries.

This is off the charts evil and madness-  And Americas sins are about to come home to roost....... Smiley

The very fact that the NWO is hyping Darfur should make us think twice, I'd say even more, before jumping on their bandwagon of an all-out war on every country they do not own.

A few obvious facts:

Fact No1. Who is reporting this? CNN, FOX? Unless and until we have independent sources which are able to verify these claims, common sense would demand that we stay away from any conclusion that the corporate media want us to reach: let's go to war to liberate them!

Fact No2. The situation in Sudan today is a product of NWO interventionism in order to destabilize the country. They've armed the rebels in the south in order to split the country into two. Remember, the NWO oil mafia dons have their greedy eyes on the oil-rich southern Sudan.

Fact No3. In areas of conflict, where there are large numbers of displaced people there is likely to be a higher rate of crime than in ordninary circumstances.

Fact No4. The NWO is a master of false flag operations. Remember the massacres in Algeria were blamed on the islamists, where whole families were butchered in remote villages in the middle of the night. Many observers have pointed that these were most probably the deeds of "special ops", in order to blame the islamists for being responsible of committing atrocious acts. Now, I would not be surprised if later it will come out that many of these rape were actually being carried out by "special ops" or mercenaries in order to stir public opinion around the world against the Sudanese government, so that the NWO can come in and steal everything, and commit mass murder and rape. Also, the so-called UN peace keepers have been caught in all sorts of child kidnapping and rape..

For these reasons, I am very very suspicious of any NWO lamenting of the situation in Darfur. THis is not to say that the government in Sudan is beyond that, but the NWO is much much worse when it comes to hurting people, especially children. And, especially black children.

The women have enough problems over there even without mainstream media reporting on rape  check this out:
Re-circumcision: the hidden evil of FGM in Sudan - Female Genital Multilation - Statistical Data Included

"Realizing that very little is known about the unique Sudanese practice of re-circumcision (RC), particularly in published form, the present study was carried out. The main focus of the study included the perception and attitudes of men towards the practice with full consideration to the impact of level of education and socia-economic status of the respondents...
Some of the male respondents (32% from Al Muhandeseen and 62% from Al Fitehab) preferred that their spouses become re-circumcised, completely ignoring the feelings or consent of the female spouse. This may be indicative of a selfish side of the Sudanese male dominance in connection with sexual matters. On the other hand, the high level of education and high socio-economic status had a clear positive impact on banning circumcision of daughters of this group of respondents.

Circumcision is a widely spread practice and re-circumcision as a practice unique to Sudanese women is a complex social problem which is mainly connected with some repugnant traditions and to a lesser extent erroneous religious beliefs. Therefore, more extensive and in-depth researches and surveys of scientific quality are necessary to provide a comprehensive database. This is to help in designing and modulating effective strategies and efficient sustainable interventions for abolishing recircumcision within a comprehensive framework of abolishing FGM in general in the Sudan.

INTRODUCTION

Female circumcision (EC) or female genital mutilation (FGM) represent a traditional practice that is well known to have serious and hazardous health and social consequences on the female.

FC is widely practiced in all regions of Sudan, with some variations in the prevalence and types of circumcision performed according to the indigenous local customs and traditions. In classical Arabic FC is called Khifad which means reduction. In popular Arabic used in Sudan it is called Tahur which means purity and cleanliness. There are three main types of female circumcision practiced in Sudan: Clitoridectomy, Intermediate and Pharaonic Circumcision.

The three types represent different degrees of Mutilation of the external genitalia of the female. Unfortunately, re-circumcision (RC), which is a unique practice in Sudan, is becoming part of the Sudanese culture, thus contributing further to the negative impact of female genital mutilation.

Re-circumcision practice involves tightening the vaginal opening by incisions on the two sides of the already mutilated labia majora and then suturing to leave a tight and small orifice. The practice has also further hazards on the health of the female.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

The problem of female circumcision or female genital mutilation in the Sudan has to some extent been studied from some aspects, but very little is known about re-circumcision practice, particularly in the published form. This study mainly investigates re-circumcision or Adal which is an Arabic word that literally means re-circumcision for the better. 'Adal' is a form of genital mutilation uniquely practiced in Sudan. Accordingly, the main objective of this study is an attempt to explore the reasons behind practicing the 'Adal' among Sudanese women.

The rest of it: Some of the male respondents (32% from Al Muhandeseen and 62% from Al Fitehab) preferred that their spouses become re-circumcised, completely ignoring the feelings or consent of the female spouse. This may be indicative of a selfish side of the Sudanese male dominance in connection with sexual matters. On the other hand, the high level of education and high socio-economic status had a clear positive impact on banning circumcision of daughters of this group of respondents.

Therefore, more extensive and in-depth researches and surveys of scientific quality are necessary to provide a comprehensive database. Forced circumscision OR force vaccination with live cancer virus?

Is the NWO more kind? Is the NWO on such a high moral ground as to force young girls to take live cancer virus and then wail about girls being victims of force circumcision?

Female circumcision is a traditional cultural practice. The cure is cultural, informational, educational. Not military.

Until the NWO stops forcing vaccination on innocent children that is proven to turn little girls and boys into little zombies, they have no business poking their dirty long noses in every other nation's business.

After we have won the fight agains the biggest threat, which is the NWO, we can engage other nations in issues that are of concern to us all, like forced genital mutilation.

The NWO solution is more deaths. Always.

Did i say that the NWO is more kind? NO!!!!  Roll Eyes

you cannot be possibly comparing forced vaccinations with circumsion, neither of the two things is good but you cant discredit circumcision as 'OK' either thats just evil..for you to think that way.

Circumcision is the most degenerating thing that a girl could experience, how can you say that vaccines are worse? do you even know the effects of circumcision? you dont have to take the vaccines, vaccines are not mandatory!!!

You obviously are gonna be impossible to have a discussion, over this  Roll Eyes  Anyways i hope you will educate yourself, would you like your daughter your wife to go through this??

Before I knew of the NWO eugenics, and when I used to listen to NWO shills like the BBC and VOA and whatever, I used to feel really concerned about they issues they chose to focus on, like the FGM in Sudan. Even today, I view these things as horrible. But horrible ceased to be horrible when the paradigm shift occured. The words of today, and the words of our past human history combined, cannot describe the evil ways of the NWO. First, to believe that such "human beings" exist, you have to first undergo a period of unbelief. Any normal person has to have a year or so of NWO agnosticism. After you have read and watched the documented evidence of NWO evil, you can only realize that the top NWO criminals make the ted bundies look almost like petty criminals. The cold-bloodedness of someone who can sit down and discuss the mass murder of millions with warfare or eugenics cannot even be compared to FGM which is committed by the consent of the parents. One cannot say that all these parents are cold-bloodedly engaging in harming their own children, wives and mothers. The act is evil, but they are not. The NWO's acts are beyond evil, they themselves are demonic.
