Brocke created another wonderful poster today.  Those are a sample of some of the vitamin supplements sold in NZ that contain aspartame.   Cheesy Thank-you very much (-:  Brilliant as always!

Brocke very kindly added "Synthetic Folic Acid" on to this great poster - as the substance, which seems to be sourced from Merck, has been associated with increased cancer risk.  Lovely work Brocke!  Smiley Thank-you!

I take requests/suggestions  Wink

Got any ideas?

There is so much that pisses me off down here I guess I wouldn't know where to start.

For example
I commute 2 hours to work (each way). Two Fridays ago I was on the train coming home when a group of 7 or 8 men and women around 25 year old got on the train. They looked like slightly dorky tourists in casual clothing. The thing that made me notice them is that they were not speaking to each other and that one of them had a young Labrador on a leash. Dog are forbidden on trains unless they are for the blind or deaf.

This group proceeded to break up into three groups two couples that stood in the front and back sections of the train car blocking any entrance or exit. The third group, the one with the dog, proceeded to walk down the isle of the train letting the dog enthusiastically sniff every person and bag.

That's right, we had all been subjected to a random, unannounced, drug check. There had been no announcement or statement by the members of the drug squad that there was going to be a search. It just happened. I assume it was for drugs because it was a Friday night and they didn't look tough enough to be a bomb squad. I did have a video camera on me but it all happened so fast that I didn't get a chance to film them and I bet I would have been charged with obstruction if I had.

If you are not committing a crime and you are subjected to an search without being informed isn't that a violation of your privacy? I supposed that because I was on a Train and had purchased a ticket, technically I had entered into a contract with the train company and thus they can make it policy that these searches are part of that contract.

But to my mind it was attempted entrapment. I have been on trains and trams where violence broke out and the police are nowhere to be seen. They are not concerned with real crimes just victimless crimes like possession of narcotics.

A quick search of this subject brought some interesting results...

The entraptment and blatent disregard for life they abuse at big dance parties/The Big Day Out/major festivals,by sneaking around inciting kids to eat all their drugs in one go,or so innebriate themselves before they turn up astounds me...even after a few deaths each year as a result of these tactics, they still persist...talk about irresponsible.
