and I'm a Christian and proud of it, because this God given Herb was created by God for man for meat, meaning FOOD! Now, I don't give a flock of seagulls what our Government says, I care what God has to say, because HIS Law comes before any law of this land, period! I'm not ashamed to admit that I smoke weed and call myself a Christian because I know that God has created Marijuana for me for meat. I give thanks to Him every time I fire up a fatty and I know, from His word that He appreciates me thanking Him for His creation. Marijuana is created by God, not man, I can pick a bud right out off the plant and smoke it or make some brownies , so next time you see one of your Government officials and you are a partaker of this God given Herb make sure you tell them that they have no Authority over telling you that you can't use Marijuana because God's law is higher than man's law. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Washington!!!! http://www.holyhemp.org/study1.htmhttp://www.ebeneezer.net/ritual/vegetable/offsite/bible.htmhttp://www.godcreatedmarijuana.org/images/God%20Created%20Marijuana.PDF

God created cobra venom and arsenic, that doesn't mean we should ingest those things. I don't believe the gov. has the authority to prevent an adult from putting things in his/her body, but I personally think mary J makes you less productive.

Cobra venom is NOT an Herb baring seed, Marijuana is NOT poison and Marijuana doesn't make me less productive, on the contrary, I instantly want to do something after smoking, not just sit around and be less productive. Oh, and BTW.................... Washington.............................YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!!

Can't you idiots see that the government making something illegal adds to it's appeal especially among the rebellious youth. It's the same damned thing they did with LSD in the 60's. It's all very simple folks, they create the appeal and then they genetically modify the substance which formerly may have been beneficial into something that attacks the cerebrial cortex. All of the weed heads I know are fried, and believe me I've met many I'm from East St. Louis. This is a war for your mind and believe me if weed was the be all and end all that you people claim, they would not be using their media to sex it up.

I rest my case...
1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, [but] not to doubtful disputations. 2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs. 3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him. 4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand. 5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day [alike]. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind. 6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth [it] unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard [it]. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks. 7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. 8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. 9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living. 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, [As] I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in [his] brother's way. 14 ¶ I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that [there is] nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him [it is] unclean. 15 But if thy brother be grieved with [thy] meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. 18 For he that in these things serveth Christ [is] acceptable to God, and approved of men. 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed [are] pure; but [it is] evil for that man who eateth with offence. 21 [It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor [any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have [it] to thyself before God. Happy [is] he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. 23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because [he eateth] not of faith: for whatsoever [is] not of faith is sin.

lol. God also created common sense and not too many are overdosing on that these days. I do agree tho that both alcohol and tobacco are much worse then mj. You should know by now, Washington doesnt care what anyone says regardless of who says it, unless its a way to put you into jail.
The day mj is legal in the US would be after the nwo meltdown, in other words, not for a while.

It's okay Grasshopper, you keep believing that! One day the truth will hit you right between the eyes. Then we'll hand you a blunt and all will be right with the world! Oh, and by the way, your stereotyping of those who enjoy what God has given us to use and not abuse is just perpetuating the lie! For your narrow-minded information, I too smoke, and have for over 25 years, have an IQ of 126, got a BA, worked on computers when I was in the Navy (was smoking even then! Sorry Uncle Sam, you never caught me), gainfully employed, married, and I'm doing just fine thank you. The problem is not the weed, any problems that arise is with the user. Its not the product thats dangerous, its the person.

No the problem is you losers advocating drug use on a forum where minors frequent. And I don't care how high your I.Q is, if you have to keep reminding us that isn't saying much now is it. Now that I have interacted with more dumbed down drug users I still have yet to find one who isn't a zombie.

I'm sure this thread won't get them hooked on Bud, but you might think so. If you don't like this thread, why do you insist on throwing insults in here and have you not been listening to Alex on the radio ALL day, it was basically about Marijuana, do you want people to stop listening to Alex?

Livefree, I would not have pegged you as an avid pot smoker because your posts aren't too mellow most of the time. Anyway, I have an IQ of 143, just graduated from college, and will most likely employ the herb's creativity enhancing aspects for writing as I always have. The only thing which I've ever consumed that has been counterproductive is alcohol. You see, I look at pot and magic mushrooms as things which were put into nature to help humans if they treat them in the proper way. If it is just for enjoyment then forget it. If it is to help you through life and make connections in your spiritual/mental state then you're using them correctly. Other drugs besides those two require man to make it (such as alcohol, opium/heroin, cocaine) and are physically addictive. Weed and mushrooms are not. In fact, mushrooms can only be used for a spiritual purpose because they are not effective if eaten within a month because the body builds a temporary tolerance thus making it impossible to be recreational. If you treat them the right way, you will never have a bad trip either, only enlightening ones. Your state of mind controls everything. For the religious: look at the description of how the high priests of Israel looked for manna in the old testament. It is exactly how one would go out and look for mushrooms. When I was younger, that's another story. Alcohol, that stuff is poison, I definitely try to stay away from that. I'll have a beer once in a great, great while for social gatherings. I still cannot fathom how Alcohol is legal and Marijuana is not, makes no sense at all. But, like I said, God's law comes first and He said it's GOOD! Just watch out for those cow chips, it could get messy.

300 threads on smoking weed, what forum is that your talking about the "High Times" forum or something and so what if there is, ITS CALLED FREEDOM OF SPEECH,more so called truthers trying to restrict peoples freedom, and the insults too Who smokes weed because its rebellious how do you do this do you make a speech before you light up each splif Seriously you should consider climbing out of that box you live in. Its this melodramatic overreaction to weed that annoys me,keep spreading the MSM propaganda No the problem is you losers advocating drug use on a forum where minors frequent. How dare you patronize anybody that frequents this forum, any minor that visits I would consider very intelligent, you assume because there minors they don't have a clue or don't understand, yeah minors just love it when their being patronized by adults, its the highlight of there day So what I have gathered from your post is that you want to restrict freedoms you don't agree with, minors can't think for themselves and need to be patronized and people you know and don't know are losers because they smoke weed.Nice person and you don't even smoke weed Case well and truly rested

Do you think that the Pharmaceutical Industrial complex wants people to know that they don't need their pills, and that they can grow medicine in your own back yard?
Think off all the money that would be lost....
Not to mention the Prison Industrial Complex... they would be out a lot of money as well if they were not able to lock up people for growing their own medicine.

God created cobra venom and arsenic, that doesn't mean we should ingest those things. I don't believe the gov. has the authority to prevent an adult from putting things in his/her body, but I personally think mary J makes you less productive.
You personally think? Which means, you're guessing? Unmotivated?........ BULLSHIT. And I have tangible proof. www.myspace.com/keithleemusicThis is my MySpace page. Feel free to go through the pictures, pictures of my art, my videos, my songs and recordings and realize that what is on there is a SMALL FRACTION of what I have done creatively (and all within the last several years). Every letter, note, or idea posted on that page was done very much "under the influence". It's the user that's unmotivated, period. This is the same lame argument I always hear from people who don't have first hand experience of what they are talking about. I don't drink alcohol because I couldn't have done ANY of the same things drunk. Not possible. Messes with my motor functions, focus (mind focus and visual focus)....But goofy speculations like this is as silly as people who say "Well, maybe it could be legalized, but in small doses," to where I'll jump on 'em and ask "WHY? Why a quantity control? I know people who spend upwards to $5000 on BOOZE for a Christmas party. Everywhere from TV ads, pro sports, entertainment industry, etc. ENCOURAGE the purchase of HIGH QUANTITIES of alcohol, but if we legalize pot, we'll let you have what is essentially the amount of a case of beer." Alcohol=Bad, Cannibis=Good (and yet, you don't hear bitching about how much the lushes drink. Drink yourself to death, I DON'T CARE, just stay off the road).

No the problem is you losers advocating drug use on a forum where minors frequent. And I don't care how high your I.Q is, if you have to keep reminding us that isn't saying much now is it. Now that I have interacted with more dumbed down drug users I still have yet to find one who isn't a zombie.
Why should you complain about that which you need not subject yourself to? In any case, you're lack of knowledge of and experience with cannabis (and recreational cannabis users) doesn't help you in making a valid argument against it. It sounds like you may have been misled by cliché anti-drug PSA speak. Please educate yourself, as this website is dedicated to truth in all forms. By the way, minors have as much a right to accurate information about drugs as anyone else.

I used drugs when I was younger -- mostly pot and alcohol. Then when I realized that the establishment created the drug culture, I wanted nothing to do with drugs at all, including marijuana.

How could the establishment create marijuana when God did? Marijuana is not man made, almost all other drugs are. No wonder why our Government doesn't like marijuana, they know where it comes from, not from them. BTW, I'm not trying to endorse marijuana use, just trying to state some facts. Marijuana comes from GOD and He created it for man.................for meat and said it was good. Whether you believe in God is a whole other can of worms. I would much rather see someone smoking a joint than drinking a 12 pack of Heineken. IMHO. I appreciate your responses people.

Hell yes!

Where did I say the government created marijuana? I said the government created the DRUG CULTURE. They promoted it from the beginning, and you can be sure there was good reason for it. They would rather have people stoned and apathetic than clear-headed and engaged in the world they live in. How could the establishment create marijuana when God did? Marijuana is not man made, almost all other drugs are. No wonder why our Government doesn't like marijuana, they know where it comes from, not from them.
