Would this just be your humble opinion? If you are stating this is as fact, I would like to see some proof of this claim? BTW, I'm a Christian and I'm not trying to drag anyone into the dark ages, I'm just trying to preach the Gospel of Christ to whoever wants to hear it............................if not, so be it. When Christ was on the Earth, did He bind everyone up in shackles and say you WILL obey? Hey, do what thou wilt, knock yourself out buddy, isn't it wonderful Christ didn't create us as robots? I think there's roughly 2000 years of proof that its a social control mechanism. I have no problems with people being religious, but when it moves into legislation and we start talking about blasphemy laws and christians trying to inflict their codes of morality and behaviour on the rest of us it becomes a big problem. Hey, do what thou wilt
Love is the law, love under will.

Funny how the Atheist always acts like they have undeniable proof that there is no God......................oh, that's right, we came from Apes, ROTFLOL!!! Remember, there's no Atheists in foxholes. I have a feeling if you were hearing bullets zinging by your head, you would finally humble yourself. You know what,
I honestly don't care where we came from, whether it was from apes or dust that god breathed life into. The important fact of the matter is that we are here, and while we are here we have to do all that we can to help our fellow man. Whether it is educating them on the crimes our government has been perpetrating against them for the last 100 years or it is standing up and fighting when we run out of options.

Excellent response Friend, And I could honestly care how old the earth is, because I don't think any of us know for certain. The ape theory you can forget it, I'm a little older than you probably and thankful they didn't teach that crap back when I went to school. Fighting the evils of this world is top priority these days and I'm glad that I have people like you and everyone else that is fighting evil in this world, no matter what your beliefs are when it comes to whatever. But make no mistake about it, for me, Christ is a big part of this movement, not trying to offend anyone here, but I certainly ain't going to offend Jesus Christ. And just for the record, I usually don't bring up Christ on these forums, it's usually when someone is mocking Him....................I will speak up then. Now, back to this Darwinism theory you have? Just Kiddin'.

Alex's exposure of the Grove was very real. There are plenty of locals on the Russian River who know. Go there, visit, ask around, even apply for a job. No, Alex didn't understand the northern calif. "hippies" thing doing their counterpunch op. That doesn't matter. What matters is that Alex broke the story of the century, and severely crippled the BoHos.

Well, Pascal's wager has been debunked over and over again throughout the history of philosophy so I wouldn't use that argument if i were you... Also, if your saying that the Bible predicted how the Elites move right now, and therefore the Bible's right, you've dismissed the argument "the Elites are trying to mimick what the Bible said" and i'd like to know why...
What is Pascal's wager?

That's Russell's teapot, you could say the same thing about aliens from zeta-reticuli. Anyway, he's a believer, as the Monkees said, and so he would never rationally address the questions that "faith" has "answered" for him. For the record, I will say it: There is no god. It is a man-made belief that applies a dominative hierarchical mechanism to the universe as a whole.
What I'm trying to say is that this whole 'satanic' element only exists in the minds of the christian right. I've never seen anything that suggests it to me, let alone proof. What I have seen is some footage, taken out of context and more misinterpretations of the works of Crowley than anyone should have to deal with in one lifetime.
Sure, there are satanists about, I know a couple, but its just occult humanism. Like with the pagans and the western tradition crowd, christians, sadly, have their own ideas about what these groups get up to. I can assure you that most ritual magicians of my acquaintance are rather dull people who just read endless liturgies to "god" in a startlingly dull manner, usually with all the verve of someone summarising their shopping list. I find "satanism" and ritual magic just as silly as religion per se, its all just people talking to their imaginary friend.
I just find it hard to take this satanic thing seriously, its just made-up disinfo. What Jones did was to take a silly ritual, albeit conducted by a very sinister group, and use it to advance his views. This becomes clear when he gets angry about the hippies and their "exorcism". I appreciate the chap, but he lets his religion get in the way of the facts from time to time.
And yes, I do think human beings are more important than silly old rulebooks, although I think it was probably mushrooms that inspired it, a cannabis inspired religion would never have settled for unleavened bread.
For the record, I will say it: There is no god. It is a man-made belief that applies a dominative hierarchical mechanism to the universe as a whole. Please tell me, how do YOU know this? The worship of deity has been around as long as human beings have...from the Aboriginals, to the Native Americans, to the Waodani of Ecuador. It is only in recent times that man has turned the worship of deity into the worship of HIMSELF. " And ye shall be as gods, said the serpent". What I'm trying to say is that this whole 'satanic' element only exists in the minds of the christian right. Okay, so their own words and actions do not convince you of what they believe? Good heavens, what would it take? I almost feel like I'm talking to a sleeping sheeple about 9-11 or the Bilderbergers......... more misinterpretations of the works of Crowley than anyone should have to deal with in one lifetime.
Where did I quote Crowley? I quoted Albert Pike (the most revered Mason in history), and Anton LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan. Would you like more? I've posted on other threads more of their own words (Masons) as well as NWO folk, as well as Alice Bailey, Blavatsky, etc. Truly people believe what they CHOOSE to believe, in spite of copious amounts of evidence to the contrary.

What is Pascal's wager?
http://www.infidels.org/library/modern/theism/wager.htmlIn the seventeenth century the mathematician Blaise Pascal formulated his infamous pragmatic argument for belief in God in Pensées. The argument runs as follows: If you erroneously believe in God, you lose nothing (assuming that death is the absolute end), whereas if you correctly believe in God, you gain everything (eternal bliss). But if you correctly disbelieve in God, you gain nothing (death ends all), whereas if you erroneously disbelieve in God, you lose everything (eternal damnation).

From a completely rational point of view, you can't prove or disprove that there is a god (not one supreme God). I guess what are really "space aliens" could be the gods of myth, simply because a sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Or they could be memories of chieftains, like Odin/Wotan is supposed to have been. Also:
"a cannabis inspired religion would never have settled for unleavened bread."
I wonder what Rastafarians use for Communion wafers...

Isaiah 40 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earthHmm, that's funny, how did Isaiah know the Earth was round before Christopher Columbus? In 712 B.C. no less? How can there be so much Prophecies in the Bible that have been fulfilled and there not be proof of one Supreme God? http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Miscellaneous/messianic_prophecies.htmRomans chapter one declares that there is no excuse at all for anyone, God has made Himself known to all, BY HIS CREATION. 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

For the record, I will say it: There is no god. It is a man-made belief that applies a dominative hierarchical mechanism to the universe as a whole. Please tell me, how do YOU know this? Because the very idea of it is absurd. I have great difficulty even believing that christians truly believe in such a ludicrous idea. The worship of deity has been around as long as human beings have...from the Aboriginals, to the Native Americans, to the Waodani of Ecuador. It is only in recent times that man has turned the worship of deity into the worship of HIMSELF.
I disagree. ALL religion is about control, it puts the power in the hands of a priestly cast, or the medicine man, the shaman or whomever. It is about hierarchy and power.
That's just it, I don't think that THEY believe it at all. I think its a tool to instill fear in the masses should they get too close to them. more misinterpretations of the works of Crowley than anyone should have to deal with in one lifetime.
As I said earlier, LaVey lifted most of his stuff from a serious of eroneous plagarisms, mainly of Crowley, but also Gerald Gardner to a lesser extent. By LaVey's own admission the CoS was a purely money making venture. Truly people believe what they CHOOSE to believe, in spite of copious amounts of evidence to the contrary. What evidence? A bit of theatre in the woods and a fundamentalist christian radio host saying that its satanism? With all due respect to Alex Jones, he strikes me as someone who would have said the same thing if he'd stumbled on Kissenger et. al. playing D&D in the woods.
