From thewaronwar.com

The next time you buy gasoline and look at the price at the pumps and really believe the lies told you by the mass media about peak oil and oil scarcity here’s a few little reminders from very recent news.  Don’t believe the lies, they are told to make you fearful, keep you in a constant state of emergency and "terror", raise prices to stop you from living the way you’d like and to create a global carbon tax (The big huge humongous lie that is global climate change) and a one child policy around the world.  Do not look at NGO’s (Non Governmental  Agencies) as friends.  They are/were created by the  richest companies of the world who do not have your best interests  in hand.  They will and do control the UN and lie to you every single day.  These may sound like strange concepts - please do your own research into these matters.  There are literally millions of pages on these matters.

BRAZIL- THIRD LARGEST OIL FIELD DISCOVERED
- It’s funny - this is from a "peak oil" website!!!

VAST OIL RESERVES FOUND IN NORTHERN ALBANIA (KOSOVA) -did you wonder why the UN is there again?

MONTANA & NORTH DAKOTA - THE NEW SAUDI ARABIA

GULF OF MEXICO - LARGEST OIL RESERVE FOUND in 2004

Those are just 4 cases.  Don’t believe the lies about oil scarcity.  Part of the problem (besides lies) is the fact that our oil refineries have been purposely closed.

It’s time to spread the truth about these big corporate lies.  Every time these thieves come up the the hill, their slaves (the Reps) let them off the hook.  Vote your thieving Rep out this year…

Oil isn't scarce.  Cheap, shallow pool oil is.

Without nuclear to provide power for extraction, all that oil locked up in oil shale, oil sands, and very deep deposits costs a great deal to extract and bring to market.  Sure there's plenty of it, it's just not easily accessible.

Of course, if we had well developed nuclear power we wouldn't require anywhere near as much oil.  Which may be why we never developed much in the way of nuclear power.

Actually....no.  The price has gone up now to the point of affordability and it's not just by using nuclear power.  Also, all of the finds are not hard extraction reserves so I'm not sure what your point is.

if oil is so high because its soooooo expensive to pump it up and process it then why did exxon make like 11 billion profit in the last quarter? They still get it out of the ground for 5 bucks a barrel so where is the justification to sell it for 120? Its all a scam, the technology is around to either get the oil out of the ground more efficiently even from very deep spots or to be completely independet from the oil.
