I am curious if anyone has taken up the mantle of Julian Simon and is calculating the REAL risk of over-population. Anyone?

the overpopulation idea is nonsence. there is enuf food right now in grocery stores, warehouses and being dumped in the ocean to drive prices up, to feed everyone on the planet for ever.  the millions starving isn't because of lack of food, its because capitalism wont give them any, its about distribution, if u dont got money, it doesnt get distributed to you. humans are a little spec on the planet compared to all the other life forms consuming food .
