9-11 Hit Piece in a small LA pub. says that 9/11 truthers work for the gov't

I know the editor of this magazine and have been e-mail battling with him since I read it this morning, I was shocked by this article. Its basically a small LA indy music mag that has had some political articles.

When I wrote he was spreading Neo-con propoganda, he responded to me by saying that "Neo-Cons don't talk about 9-11"!!! Funny.

Thearticle has very weak research. He quotes 911 Pilots for truth but does not go into their extremely good video of all the conflicting evidence from the black box's.

My thoughts on this. Many people think we are taking up a whole lot of space in consuming ourselves and others over 911 Truth.
Really, people want to forget all about it. I have been asked about my obsession in several ways, such as ' What does it matter if we cant do anything about it'? Or better yet- 'We still have to get that crminal Osama bin Laden' regardless is there are 911 discrepancies that implicate our government'. As if, getting a fake criminal is more important in solving this than getting the real ones, to put this to rest once and for all.

I have said this many times, and likely will many more....It is so much eaasier to think others outside your race and country are evil and without conscience than those clearly closer to you, ie: your own government. It would break peoples psyche to realize fully the implications of such a thing.

These people , like the author of this article are clearly showing the stress involved with 911 Truthers pressing on. The revelations are making them uncomfortable. They are trying to squirm out of the increasing body of evidence that is coming to light and want us all just to
STFP. Rationalizations are popping up everywhere, we are tiring them.

Mostly I just cannot understand where the writer is coming from writing a hit piece like that? What was the point of writing that article in the first place?  And insinuating that 9/11 truthers work for the government is the most insane thing I've ever heard, even Popular Mechanics has never done that.  If that is the case then what is the truth? He doesn't go into that.

The number one "cover" that the Bush admin. uses to shield its true evil is Incompetence. Was Katrina incompetence? No water for 4 days! That is f**king insanity!!! They are NOT incompetent, the Iraq war is going just as planned, we're close to a million dead Iraqi civilians, that isn't incompetency that is genocide.

Could I have been more mellow? before I sent this one he said I made "serious personal accusations about me" because I said he was printing neo-con propoganda. Oh after he said "Neo-cons don't talk about 911" I am still cracking up over that one.

I need to learn how to deal with telling people about 911 better I guess. I just get so frustrated.

Maybe I should just start with Bohemian Grove and work from there, that can't be labeled a "conspiracy theory" anymore thanks to Alex.

No, Bohemian Grove is way to wierd for people, they shut down and call it a Frat Party. Bohemian Grove comes in WAY down the hole when you can comprehend the base evil nature of it all.

You are doing fine. All of this is normal response from very afraid people. I get it, hell, everyone who does real activism gets the same dumbfounding responses that make us feel we have done it wrong.

A common tactic, not of bad people but those who cant comprehend is to switch it off to you, like he did, ' GO DO Something' As if you dont have a job or a life and as if this isnt something enough. I get this too. Its a sham. I tell people 'I am doing something, Im educating.'

let me know when you've worked for a congressman, put out aan anti-war mag on your own dime while the public is 90% pro-war, taken on military recruiting efforts publicly, and been interviewed by The Nation.

then you can lecture me about government, activism and gullibility.

We both live in LA, so to me this is a typical LA superiority status crap shield response.

Sometime last summer it was announced that a number of prominent 9/11 truthers (some of those to be involved were David Ray Griffin, Professor Steven E. Jones, Professor James Fetser, etc) were asking NIST and others to a public debate on the matter of 9/11 -- as I understand it, there were formal invitations sent out to NIST and others, however, the same quickly rejected the very idea of a public debate and declined participation.  Sadly the matter has never resurfaced that I am aware of.

Anyone that would public a listing (one of the links provided above) of how to debate truthers seems highly suspect to me.  The very idea that people have to be told what it is they see and how to respond ought to be a person's first clue in such matters.  Charm the chrome off a trailer hitch most likely.  Liars and crooks themself.  Arrogant ignorant misinformed for sure.
