Does anybody know the name of the song Alex uses, usually as an outro on his radio show. It sounds like the start of a hard rock or metal song. It only plays for about 10 seconds. It starts out slow and then you can hear the drums getting louder and then the lyrics Yeahhhhhhh. ( it's not AC/DC, for those about to rock. Or Yello, (the)Oh yeah song. )

Alex never plays that as an outro. I think its that white Zombie song the poster was talking about above.

I think a poster identified it in the bumper music collection as I am Legend by White Zombie.

I hear them play Judas Priest's "You've Got Another Thing Comin' " all the time and they've missed the obvious song from that same album (Screaming For Vengeance)- Electric Eye. It's such a perfect fit. The lyrics have a total Big Brother/ Police State vibe. Here they are -

ELECTRIC EYE

Up here in space
Im looking down on you
My lasers trace
Everything you do

You think youve private lives
Think nothing of the kind
There is no true escape
Im watching all the time

Im made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

Im elected electric spy
Im protected electric eye

Always in focus
You cant feel my stare
I zoom into you
You dont know Im there

I take a pride in probing all your secret moves
My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove

Im made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

Im elected electric spy
Im protected electric eye

Electric eye, in the sky
Feel my stare, always there
Theres nothing you can do about it
Develop and expose
I feed upon your every thought
And so my power grows

Im made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean

Im elected electric spy
Im protected electric eye

Protected. detective. electric eye

The Last Of The Mohicans Soundtrack is awesome.  I usually don't like much other than rock, but the soundtrack is great.  Some of the music on there gives me shivers when I hear it.

Would love to hear Alejandro play "He Got Game" by Public Enemy, where Flavor Flav drops this:

Aiyo, these are some serious times that we're livin in G
And a new world order is about to begin, y'knowhutI'msayin?
Now the question is - are you ready, for the real revolution
which is the evolution of the mind?
If you seek then you shall find that we all come from the divine
You dig what I'm sayin?
Now if you take heed to the words of wisdom
that are written on the walls of life
then universally, we will stand and divided we will fall
because love conquers all, you understand what I'm sayin?
This is a call to all you sleepin souls
Wake up and take control of your own cipher
And be on the lookout for the spirit snipers
tryin to steal your light, y'knowhutI'msayin?
Look within-side yourself, for peace
Give thanks, live life and release
You dig me? You got me?

You know what's even more gay? Snickering high schoolers who obsessively use the word "gay" to describe anything they happen not to like.

As Shakespeare put it: "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."  Wink

KASHMIR!!!!!!! (Led Zeppelin)

That's already in Alex's playlist, as are a couple other Zeppelin songs.

Three Zep songs that aren't in there, however, and which I hope he'll consider including, are

* Achilles Last Stand -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOt3n4DAyC4

* The Song Remains the Same -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZIWoZupBdN0

The music featured here is from the movie "Total Recall". Not sure where in the movie, maybe the final credits/closing theme.
