I'm working on a collection of bumper music from The Alex Jones Show, because the music is so diverse and good. Anyone who can recommend other tunes that I haven't gleaned yet, I'd be quite appreciative. Thanks.

Also, I'll make the collection as a torrent and post the link to it in this thread. Based on the response I get here, I'll either add more music to it, or just post what I've already got.

There was a non-vocal one, can't remember the name but its basically a set of techno "beeps and whistles" if you'll excuse my lousy description. I'll give you a sample as soon as I recall which days Alex had it on...

Thanks everyone. Keep em coming. I'll add those to the collection this weekend. freedom_commonsense: I think the one you're referring to is PPK - Resurrection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pYkjaG7xZ0But really "PPK - Robots (Outro)" because it only has the beeps and whistles. New additions to the collection: Chemical Brothers, The - Block Rockin' Beats David Bowie - This Is Not America Foo Fighters, The - The Pretender PPK - Robots (Outro) Ron Grainer - Doctor Who Theme System Of A Down - Toxicity U2 - Bullet The Blue Sky (does anyone know if this was actually used in the show?)

Great thread! I have always wondered about a few of the tunes. Here are some more to add to the list:
Beatles-A Day In The Life Barry Gray Orchestra with Gary Miller-Stingray Highwaymen-Against The Wind Marley, Bob-Get Up Stand Up Robbins, Marty-El Paso Nelson, Willie-Whatever Happened To Peace On Earth Jean, Wyclef-Fortunate Son Black Sabbath-Iron Man ZZ Top-Tush
What's that solo synth piece that he usually goes to breaks with about halfway through the show? I really dig that...the left hand plays quarter notes while the right hand does a rhythm like this: 1...and 4 and 1...
Here are some songs I'd like to hear on the show:
Hawkwind-Psychedelic Warlords (Disappear In Smoke), Hassan I Sabha Bad Religion-Let Them Eat War Bell Rays-Revolution Get Down King Crimson-21st Century Schizoid Man Truckstop Honeymoon-No Child of Mine Rush-Red Barchetta Iggy and The Stooges-Search and Destroy Styx-Half Penny, Two Penny Clash-Know Your Rights Minutemen-Joe McCarthy's Ghost, Paranoid Time, Vietnam, There Ain't Sh*t on TV Tonight Sonic Youth-Youth Against Fascism Black Flag-T.V. Party Zebra-Who's Behind The Door

Newest additions:
Barry Gray Orchestra - Stingray Theme Beatles, The - A Day in the Life Bob Marley & The Wailers - Get up, Stand Up
I'll continue to give updates as they develop. Thanks for the Stingray Theme mention ellaichell , I've been wondering what that is for a long time, and had no way of finding out. Keep 'em coming!

Can we switch the Willie Nelson "Gravedigger" with the origninal Dave Matthews version?
I didn't even know that Willie covered it, which is cool, but Dave's is better.

All a matter of opinion, plus might as well add and not switch.

I don't remember hearing "Gimme All Your Lovin'" on the Sunday show, but it's certainly likely, as the Top is from Tejas...

Listening to Sunday show podcast and heard these:
Joe Cocker-With A Little Help From My Friends Creedence Clearwater Revival-Born On The Bayou
Also, the following has been playing a good bit on the show:
Allman Brothers-Midnight Rider
That Megadeth song with the Howard Beale rant from "Network" is used fairly often, but I can't remember the name of the tune or find it online...anybody know the name of that song?

I've heard "Freedom" by rage against the machine as well as "Don't Tread on Me" by metallica. Also the Howard Beale music clip is set to the song "Damage Inc." by metallica that's all I can think of for now.

John Fogerty`s latest CD ,Revival has few good ones.
"Gunslinger"
Lookin' out across this town Kinda makes me wonder how All the things that make us great Got left so hard behind
This used to be a peaceful place Decent folks hard workin' ways Now they hide behind locked doors Afraid to speak their minds
I think we need a gunslinger Somebody tough to tame this town I think we need a gunslinger There'll be justice all around
Someone let the fences go Wild eyed bunch moved in you know Shootin' up the streets shoutin' everybody down Dogs all runnin' loose
Wrecked the papers, closed the school Tired old judge got roughed up too No one left to make a stand They whisper, "What's the use?"
I think we need a gunslinger Somebody tough to tame this town I think we need a gunslinger There'll be justice all around
I think we need a gunslinger Somebody tough to tame this town I think we need a gunslinger There'll be justice all around
I think we need a gunslinger Somebody tough to tame this town I think we need a gunslinger There'll be justice all around
"I Can`t Take It No More"
I Can't Take It No More I Can't Take It No More I'm sick and tired of your dirty little war I Can't Take It No More
You know you lied about the casualties You know you lied about the WMD's You know you lied about the detainees All over this world
Stop talking about staying the course You keep a-beating that old dead horse You know you lied about how we went to war I Can't Take It No More
I can't take it I can't take it
I bet you never saw the old school yard I bet you never saw the national guard Your daddy wrote a check and there you are Another fortunate son
I can't take it no more I can't take it no more I'm sick and tired of your dirty little war I can't take it no more
I can't take it no more I can't take it no more I'm sick and tired of your dirty little war I can't take it no more
"Long Dark Night"
George is in the jungle Knockin’ on the door Come to get your children Wants to have a war
Come on, lord you’d better run, Be a long dark night before this thing is done
Brownie's in the outhouse Katrina on the line Government's a disaster But George, he says it’s fine
Come on, lord you’d better run, Be a long dark night before this thing is done
Rummy's in the kitchen messin’ with the pan Dickie’s in the back stealing everything he can Come on, Lord you’d better run, Be a long dark night before this thing is done
You better run, you better run, Lord you better run, Lord you better run,
Runnin’ down the highway Shoutin’ to the Lord George's got religion And you know he can’t afford more, yeah
Come on, Lord you’d better run Be a long dark night before this thing is done Be a long dark night before this thing is done, oh Lord

Hey wassup everybody Im new to the forum but I was part of the prisonplanet tv forum, I literally posted my first post a day before he shut it down and my post was about the religious in-fighting that was going on and how it needed to stop. But anyway Im glad yall made this thread because I always wondered what were some of the songs played on his show. Im black but my taste for music reaches farther then rap, I came up in the golden era of rap (80's and 90's) when rappers were actually still saying something with a message. Man I miss the X-clans and Public Enemies that brought credibility to the genre. But as Alex says I digress, Im really posting to have yall include Bob Dylan's License to Kill to the list, its one of my favorite songs he plays on the show. Also I didnt see the Highwaymen's Silver Stallion on any of the list either. Whoever knew that robot outro song rocks because I've been wanting to know the title of that song for a minute. Im just a lover of music, I use to write my own lyrics (rap) and I still consider myself an artist, but when I found out about how the NWO controls the media and entertainment, that took all the motivation away to want to be apart of that world. Im kinda glad I found out before I got into that world because I probably would have never waken up if I became a rapper. Thanks to everybody who listed the songs because yall answered alot of my questions about them, hey I need some theme music to go with this fight we're in and it seems like the AJ show already has the playlist created. Now its time to bring the NWO down and take the fight back to BIG BROTHER!
Peace
