That song is by the legendary Robert Plant and it is called "Big Log" (don't ask me why). I'm trying to find the name of the sci-fi sounding song that is played frequently on the show and on special reports. It was played at the end and possibly throughout the awesome new intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygZb0L_aQ6k  Fast forward to 3:00. Thanks in advance.

Looks like a fun movie, think I will have to get around to watching it.

It got a very, very high ranking on Rotten Tomatoes
http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/return_of_the_living_dead/

And IMDB gave it a 7.3 rating, which considering there bias against Horror Movies, is a very, very high ranking.

Here's my spotify playlist I made with the help of this thread. It took a while to add them all by hand. I keep updating it every time I hear a new song while listening to the show. Thank all of you who contributed to this SO much. This is my favorite playlist ever. On random you can listen to this for hours and never get bored.  You gotta have spotify to use it, but it's worth getting. I love it and have always hated online music services. This is as good as it gets!!! You can play this playlist from your phone, etc.

It only shows 30 here but it's 156 songs.

Yes, and they are adding tracks daily... I particularly like some of the new ones from the time just after the "Company" launched the Vietnam war using the Gulf of Tonkien "False Flag" Resolution as the aegis. Popular music began the protest... veiled at first, but full blown by Tet...

Root Boy Slim - World War III   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAQQP67skVw

Foster MacKenzie aka Root Boy Slim was frat brothers w / George W Bush at Yale - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FEZi5Z1ZbaY
took a more artistic, cynical view of the world, founded Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change Band - hot patriot act in the late 70's ,80's in DC clubs.
Drugs and alcohol - no problem - he knew too much of what was going on, he can not be blamed for his self destruction. He gave all he could to the end.
All his works are evergreen and relevant today  (hence my pen name) - check out Death Star or Rich, White,Republican or his biggest hit Boogie till you Puke....

Thanks!

Hello everyone.

Can anyone identify this music that is played occasionally?  It's about to drive me looney tunes trying to figure it out.  I recorded a short streaming video of it being played and uploaded it to my Photobucket account.

Hi guys, I'm looking for the intro where the music and the sound is really revving up at the last few seconds of the intro.  I think there are several audio tracks overlapping the last couple seconds, and I'm sure one of them is from the begging of Knights Of Cydonia, where it also revs up.

Does anyone know which one I mean?

I am hoping someone will recognize a tune often used as show bumper music in 2012 where Alex mentions it "sounds like an ice cream truck" but I do not know the title of the tune.  It is part of a complete musical piece.  Please let me know if you have any clue.  I can provide a short file of it but I figured ether someone would know it as "the ice cream truck song" or not at all.  Thank you.

This song needs adding

ADAM FREELAND - WE WANT YOUR SOUL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WTBkj8gFfI

Your cellphone, your wallet, your time, your ideas.
No bar-code, no party, no ID, no beers.
Your bankcard, your license, your thoughts, your fears.
No SIM card, no disco, no photo, not here.
Your blood, your sweat, your passions, your regrets.
Your profits, your time off, your fashions, your sex.
Your pills, your grass, your tits, your ass.
Your laughs, your balls, we want it all (we want your soul).

Your cash, your house, your phone, your life (we want your soul).

Tell us your habits, your fads, your fears.
Give us your address, your shoe size, your years.
Your digits, your plans, your number, your eyes.
Your schedule, your desktop, your details, your life.
Show us your children, your photos, your home.
Here, take credit, take insurance, take a loan.
Get a job, get a pension, get a haircut, get a suit.
Play the lottery, play football, play the field, snort some toot.

We'll show you shrinks, we'll show you spooks, we'll buy you drinks, throw away your books.
We'll sell you crap, we'll charge you tax, we're out buying big guns and you'll front the cash (we want your soul).

Your cash, your house, your phone, your life (we want your soul).

Your thoughts, your emotions, your love, your dreams.
Your checkbook, your essence, your sweat, your screams.
Your security, your sobriety, your innocence, your society.
Your self, your place, your distance, your space.

Go back to bed America, your government is in control again.
Here. Watch this. Shut up.
You are free to do as we tell you.
You are free to do as we tell you.

Here's boy bands, here's Mackers, here's Britney, here's cola.
Here's pizza, here's TV, here's some rock and some roller.
Watch commercials, more commercials, watch Jerry, not Oprah.
Buy a better life from the comfort of your sofa.
Here's popcorn, here's magazines, here's milkshakes, here's blue jeans.
Here's padded bras, here's armpit wax, here's football shirts, here's baseball caps.
Here's live talk-shows, here's video games, here's cola-lite, here's ten more lanes.
Here's filter-tips, here's collagen lips, here's all-night malls, here's plastic hips (we want your soul).

Your cash, your house, your phone, your life (we want your soul).

spoken:
Go back to bed America, your government is in control again.
Here. Here's American Gladiators. Watch this. Shut up.
Go back to bed America, here's American Gladiators.
Here's 56 channels of it.
Watch these pituitary retards bang their f**king skulls together,
and congratulate you on living in the land of freedom.
Here you go America.
You are free to do as we tell you.
You are free to do as we tell you.

No hippies, no strays, no drop-outs, no gays.
No lefties, no loonies, no opinions, no way.
No thinkers, no teachers, no facts, no freaks.
No skaters, no tweekers, no truth, no sleep.

Here's popcorn, here's magazines, here's milkshakes, here's blue jeans.
Here's padded bras, here's armpit wax, here's football shirts, here's baseball caps.
Here's very very very very very very very very very very very very long infomercials.

Does anyone know a song he has played in the past from the late 70's or early 80's? It is a rock/punk song and the official video has the two guitar players wearing a futuristic leather suit and black motorcycle helmets. I remember it just keeps repeating one verse for the entire song.
