Tips for rebuilding after Hurricane Harvey:

https://www.infowars.com/secrets-to-rebuilding-after-hurricane-harvey/

What do do when your house floods based on my experience in 2009, 2015 and 2016.

1. Ensure physical safety - everything else can be replaced - you can’t

2. You are in a marathon now, not a sprint - everything will take much, much longer than you want it to. You will be dealing with the federal government (national flood) and they move at their own pace

3. Take pictures - lots of pictures. Establish how high the water was inside and outside of your house. You need to prove how deep the water was as part of your flood claim. Use a yardstick or ruler on the outside of your house to establish the high water mark.

4. File your claim immediately - get in line for adjustors, etc

5. Flood insurance will not reimburse you for loss of use, so any hotel or lodging expenses will be out of pocket

6. Save all receipts - all of them

7. Order a POD or storage container as they will sell out fast

8. As soon as the water recedes, start mitigating the damage. Shopvac out what water you can, remove the wet carpets, remove the baseboards and start removing wet sheetrock. Cut a line about 2 feet up the wall. The straighter you cut, the easier the rebuild will be. Bag debris/insulation etc and take it outside. Save a square of ruined carpet and ruined carpet pad for the insurance to verify replacement value - if you have multiple carpets, save multiple samples. - Your goal is to get anything wet out of your house so it can begin to dry. Don’t worry about removing glue down hardwoods, let the contractor handle that during the rebuild

9. Take pictures of any damage you see, wet sheetrock, wet carpet, wet furniture, anything you want to claim - document. For contents, document individual items - each shirt, book, etc needs to be enumerated and documented for the claim - if you say 20 books on your claim, you need a photograph where 20 books can be individually accounted for - be exact and over detailed

10. We are expecting more rain so don’t put flood debris where it can float away, block a drain and cause more trouble

11. Be very careful about hiring “the experts” companies will bring in fans, etc and eat up a lot of your claim check by “drying” your house - once the walls are open, the studs will dry in time. Every dime you spend renting expensive blowers is money you can’t use towards granite countertops or tile upgrades when you rebuild. Fans, your air conditioner a dehumidifier from Home Depot will do the job. You can spray the studs with bleach as they dry out. We saved $10K each claim by doing the work ourselves in our three floods.

12. Be careful hiring contractors - ask for multiple references, ensure they use sub-contractors they know - they will be busy and be prepared to wait

13. Plastic storage tubs work better than cardboard boxes for storage of your undamaged stuff

14. Be nice to the adjustor - he or she will be valuing your loss and establishing the rebuild - every dollar counts, so be a pleasant memory for the adjustor, rather than “that” person

15. No matter who your insurance company is, all flood claims go through the federal government, all money comes through FEMA, so the time between the adjustor visiting your house and you getting money takes weeks/months - be patient - it is challenging and horrible waiting, but you are dealing with the government and all the other claims that are in flight as well.

16. Your first estimate will likely be less than you expect, so work with your contractor to file a supplement for things that were missed. Be wary of working with 3rd party arbitrators as they will take a %age of your total claim, not just any extra they get you in the supplement.

17. Accept help when offered and be specific - if someone asks “what can I do?” tell them something specific - I need candles, contractor bags, sandwiches - be grateful of those that reach out and be honest with what you need.

18. You will get through this, it is a struggle, but you will get through it. Lean on your faith, your friends and family.

Hurricane Harvey provides lab for U.S. forecast experiments

The GFDL model, called FV3, also correctly forecasted that Harvey would develop a double eyewall—a second circular band of storms around the band enclosing the eye. The model’s zoomed-in view also predicted the extreme rainfall totals seen by Houston some 5 days in advance, says Shian-Jiann Lin, the GFDL scientist who led the development of the code powering FV3.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_Martin
Saint Martin (French: Saint-Martin; Dutch: Sint Maarten) is an island in the northeast Caribbean, approximately 300 km (190 mi) east of Puerto Rico. The 87-square-kilometre (34 sq mi) island is divided roughly 60/40 between the French Republic (53 km2, 20 sq mi)[1] and the Kingdom of the Netherlands (34 km2, 13 sq mi);[2] but the two parts are roughly equal in population, with slightly more people living on the Dutch side. It is the smallest inhabited island divided between two nations.
...
At Columbus' time, St. Martin was populated, if at all, by Carib amerindians. The former Arawaks had been chased by the Caribs coming from the North coast of South America a short time before the arrival of the Spaniards who followed in Columbus' wake
....
A massive influx of African slaves took place in the 18th century with the development of sugarcane plantations by the French Protestants and Dutch. Slavery was abolished in the first half of the 19th century. On some of their territories the British imported Chinese and South Asians to take the place of slaves. Thus, St. Martin and the other islands are populated by a mixture of Amerindian, European, African, Indian and Asian people

Buffalo Bill's Irma Hotel in Cody, Wyoming.
Step back in time... into the old west of today.

Visit the Irma Hotel – a place that Buffalo Bill Cody called "a gem" just outside of Yellowstone National Park. He built the hotel in 1902 and named it for his daughter, Irma. Today, you can stay in historic rooms that housed some of the most famous personalities the world ever has known, including Frederic Remington, Annie Oakley and Calamity Jane. You can even stay in Buffalo Bill's private suite. There are a host of other historic or non-historic rooms, all with up-to-date amenities and air conditioning.

Where are these guys?

Nearly 50 Years of Expertise in Atmospheric Sciences
Weather Modification Inc., was founded in 1961, in the small town of Bowman, ND. Bowman is located in an area of the state where the average rainfall is near desert amounts and hail is common. In order to preserve the livelihood of the agricultural community, two pilots/farmers decided to enter the forefront of weather modification.

Our tradition of leadership and innovation continues to direct our future. What started as two aircraft and two pilots has grown to nearly 40 aircraft and more than 100 team members. We continue to expand our services and products to meet emerging client needs. Over the last fifteen years, WMI has broadened its service offerings to include environmental monitoring and expanded atmospheric assessment and evaluation.

Core values of quality, reliability, and innovation provide the framework for Weather Modification, Inc., These values, and our ever-changing planet, will continue to direct our team of scientists, meteorologists, electronics technicians, pilots, and maintenance engineers.

IIRC Alex had the president on years ago. He talked about the ability to disable hurricanes with old-school seeding techniques focused on cells. Estimated cost was 1 million, which is nothing for the government.

Maybe being a “member of the US-Saudi Arabian Business Council” has something to do with it.

Oh. Nevermind. Looks like they HAVE been busy STRENGTHENING these storms.

Cloud Seeding Was Used Before Hurricane Harvey, Did It Amplify Its Impact?
TOPICS:Aaron KeselWeatherWeather Modification
September 5, 2017

By Aaron Kesel

Documents leaked to me earlier today seem to suggest that there were cloud seeding operations going on in West Texas on August 24th one day before Hurricane Harvey hit nearly destroying some areas of Texas, flooding whole neighborhoods.

Thanks to @cereslight the doc is already public on the internet & can be viewed here:https://t.co/MWf4O4ITOl
I make no claims only for info pic.twitter.com/jvyhTGe7ZH
— AKilluminati (AK)🔹‏ (@An0nKn0wledge) September 2, 2017

The document was found to be uploaded to the West Texas Weather Modification’s alleged website showing that there was a cloud seeding operation that may have further amplified Hurricane Harvey which touched down only the next day after the cloud seeding occurred.

“Southwesterly flow aloft will work in conjunction with abundant surface moisture to help initiate a shower and storms. It appears the best shot will be across western sections of Trans-Pecos where a weak dryline is set up,” the document reads.

The document goes on to state that the team of scientists saw a “window of opportunity” in Culberson/Reeves County for seeding.

They then fired six glaciogenic flares over Reeves County; this was the first day seeding in August and the eighth in the season, according to the document.

Cloud seeding is nothing new and has been in fact utilized in Texas before in 2011 and 2012. George Bomar, who manages the Weather Modification Program for Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation told about weather modification over Texas at the time.

“The proven success of Weather Modification, Inc., in atmospheric and weather operations, is evident by our lengthy and impressive client listing speaks for itself. Our reputation for successful cloud seeding and meteorological services leads our veteran pilots, experienced meteorologists and radar engineers around the world. Our valued clients include private and public insurance companies, water resource management organizations, as well as federal and state government research organizations,” their website states.

When questioned about what it means that the operation was a success Bomar stated: “it means that the storm lived longer and produced more rain over a larger area.”

Now to be clear, I am not accusing any cloud seeding organization in Texas of intentionally strengthening the storm; I believe that these scientists meant well and wanted to experiment and spread out the rain from the storm. However, the statement by Bomar is one to re-read a couple of times. A successful cloud-seeding operation means the “storm lives longer and produces more rain over a larger area.”

This mean that it’s a high possibility that cloud seeding prior to the hurricane could have caused it to be amplified not only in strength but causing it to last longer than it would have normally from mother nature. Essentially by playing god with the weather the situation may have been made worse. Last year, in Los Angeles scientists did exactly what Bomar wanted, using cloud seeding to boost rain from the El Niño storm bringing rain to the then drought struck areas of California, according to the LA Times.

The CIA has even invested its time and money into geoengineering practices, as has the U.S. military with operations like Operation Popeye during the Vietnam war.

Rutgers scientists, led by Alan Robock, who performed geoengineering experiments have previously warned of the dangers of the practice stating it could cause droughts, famine and mass deaths. It’s well known that messing with the weather can have a very bad effect creating killer floods. The UN was even urged in 2010 to stop its geoengineering projects fearing they could harm nature and mankind.

In August 15, 1952, it was admitted that a team of scientists working with RAF under Operation Cumulus, jokingly called Operation Witch Doctor, caused a flood in the Devon village of Lynmouth, Britain that killed thirty-five people from the torrential rains, The Guardian reported.

In 1997, nearly 50 years after the incident then Secretary Of Defense William Cohen expressed that countries were “engaging even in eco-type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.”

So with all these instances of creating rain one has to wonder if the cloud seeding before the hurricane in Texas was exactly like in Britain – an experiment gone way wrong. The only thing to do now is to come together and help those affected by the storm.

Alex Jones got some free publicity, from the Washington ComPost:

As Irma approaches, fear is in the water, spreading with new and viral efficiency

On the Internet, Alex Jones gave his Infowars audience one more conspiracy theory to consider: the notion that “globalists” and scientists eager to prove that climate change is wreaking havoc with the world might somehow be manipulating the weather. After all, he said, wasn’t it strange that Irma and Harvey arrived just as a Hollywood movie, “Geostorm,” about the government altering the weather, is about to premiere?

“Now, I’m not saying Irma is geoengineered, but there is geoengineering going on secretly in the United States,” Jones said. “Right on time with these superstorms, we have the new film. . . . Isn’t that just perfect timing? . . . This is starting to get suspicious.”

Back on planet Earth, in Miami’s Little Havana section...

A good article on weather modification:

US Air Force Admits They Can Control Weather

An increase of 1 Celsius in the atmosphere is more than enough to initiate a significant weather perturbation. Bear in mind that all gases move from high to low pressure, and gas pressure is directly proportional to its temperature.

In short, if one heats up at least three points in the atmosphere, the center region having relatively lower pressure than those three heated points will become the eye of the storm. Three competing forces moving towards a common region can only be resolved through a downward spiral rotation, the cooler gases being heavier than the former. Depending on the amount of energy being used, the whole process could take days....

Well I'm seeing definite hype about this one. News reporters seem to enjoy standing outside in the wind to do their thing. People are standing on the southern seawall with phone cameras. The live cameras that show this just so happen to go offline. Makes me wonder if we're even seeing the right radar image...

I'm seeing evidence of a storm, but not to the extent that we're being led to believe.

Nah, it was just a simple ol hurricane in Florida and Texas, the earthquake in Mexico was simply an earthquake, SH**T HAPPENS we gotta be out of our minds to think the dark state would have hand in this. They love us it's  hug fest, a love in, heck even mentioning 911 could have been a con job is twilight zone stuff, and sure Iraq had WMD's, don't you remember Powell or Cheney, Bush telling us they did. Those on the inside love us, care about us, they would never hurt or lie to us. Yes, Oswald killed Kennedy, they told us he did, they even went as far as having an investigation, the Warren Report imagine the length and depth of their study, Yes and RK was shot by the Sirhan,  oh yea, Hillary had to organize the Lybia invasion for the good of the USA citizenry, this poor woman worked so very hard to do this. Holder tried to find drug dealers during that horrible time, he had to send drug gangs 1,500 weapons, it makes sense. All these wonderful caring people in high position truly care about us, isn't that obvious. HAARP was created to keep us safe don't you know that? THEY LOVE US. ;D
I know, not funny, the truth-Carlin said it " they don't care" Folks can believe whatsoever they care to, as for me, HAARP is a serious weapon, I can't shake that off, I would have enjoyed hearing how the boys at HAARP used these multi billion $ devices to save the states and other areas from disasters, isn't that what it was developed to do :-\ I'm having a difficult time dealing with this.

Survivor Stories: All Hell Has Broken Loose in the Caribbean After Hurricane Irma

Preppers often wonder what it would be like if everything was destroyed in a disaster. After Hurricane Irma devastated the Caribbean, it didn’t take long before society began to devolve. The stories of survivors tell us that here’s no food, no water, and armed looters are running amok.

The island of Barbuda saw 90% of their homes and structures destroyed by the hurricane, while on other islands, the destruction was more like 70%. The infrastructure is absolutely destroyed. Electricity and fresh running water are gone in most places for the indefinite future. These satellite images show the shocking before-and-after pictures of the islands....

Before Hurricane Irma hit, the government of the US Virgin Islands confiscated the guns in the hopes that they could more easily maintain law and order....

“All the food is gone now,” Jacques Charbonnier, a 63-year-old resident of St. Martin, said in an interview on Sunday. “People are fighting in the streets for what is left....”

“I actually know of eight people that were robbed in broad daylight with machetes for everything they had in their vehicles, including their fuel. Yesterday we spent about 3 ½ hours in a line for fuel, and machetes were pulled there as well. We’re getting stories of people being robbed at gunpoint in their house for something as small as a can of tomato sauce…”

Survivor story of a friend near Tampa:

Went to hotel 2 days, then home on Monday. No gas available. No power until Thursday afternoon. Went to store today and got last loaf of bread. She was called a bitch for taking last loaf.

Her home was 89 degrees with no AC. Two substations affected.

Many still without power.

Been following blog entries of a guy on a volunteer crew to help recovery there. His reports helped FEMA and the Governor to figure out where to efficiently direct supplies, particularly fuel. He also has chainsaws with him and is speeding up power restoration by removing downed trees tangled up in power lines amongst other things. Often puts in 13 hour days.

Lesson learned. Wanna prevent looting and desperation? Get out and help your neighbors before they get desperate.

Saw a pic of fuel tankers headed into Tampa Bay. It's a smart approach rather than relying solely on an unstable highway system.

In contrast to the last loaf of bread story, the farmers in the middle of the state were generally grateful.

It is the latter attitude that will MAGA.
The number one cause of all human poverty, misery, and death is not global warming. It’s GLOBAL LYING.

Some damage, including minor roof leaks, flooding in one of the parking lots, and downed trees, was reported by neighbors and maintenance workers, according to the News, but the building seems to have avoided any major structural damage.

The property’s landscaping appears to have fared the worst, with reports of uprooted plants covering the roadway.

City officials confirmed damage to the area was minor.

Major Hurricane Maria to lash Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic with flooding and damaging winds
By Renee Duff, AccuWeather meteorologist
By Kristina Pydynowski, AccuWeather senior meteorologist
September 19, 2017, 10:28:57 AM EDT

Major Hurricane Maria will continue to rip a path of destruction over the islands of the northeastern Caribbean Sea into midweek.

Maria will threaten lives and devastation in areas hit and missed by Irma's worst less than two weeks earlier.
...
On Monday evening, Maria strengthened into a Category 5 hurricane with 160-mph (257-km/h) winds on its way toward the northeastern Caribbean Sea, making it the second Category 5 storm of the season.

The last time there were two or more Category 5 hurricanes in the same season was in 2007 when Dean and Felix occurred. Prior to this year, 2007 was also the last time two hurricanes made landfall as a Category 5.
...

The Dominican Republic and Haiti will feel the effects of Maria on Wednesday and Wednesday night. The island of Hispaniola will experience tropical storm conditions with torrential rain, dangerous surf and the potential for damaging wind gusts. Given the current forecast track, the worst conditions on Hispaniola will be in the Dominican Republic.

"Interaction with Puerto Rico could alter the track of the Maria," according to AccuWeather Hurricane Expert Dan Kottlowski.

City Council Agrees to Consider Mayor Turner's Post-Harvey Tax Hike Plan

After a lengthy debate, Houston City Council voted to put a hefty property tax hike up for consideration in October as an emergency measure to assist the city in Hurricane Harvey relief.

The tax hike currently on the table would increase property taxes by 8.9 percent for one year, changing the rate from 58.64 cents per $100 of assessed value to 63.87 cents per $100 and resulting in an uptick of $118 next year in property taxes for the average Houston homeowner. It would result in an extra $113 million in tax revenue for the city....

...Backlash against Turner for proposing the hike has already begun in waves, with the Harris County GOP saying Wednesday that Turner was simply taking advantage of Hurricane Harvey to get what he always wanted: to increase taxes and do away with the city's revenue cap, which limits how much the city can hike up property taxes. The GOP called it an "opportunistic tragedy tax."...

http://www.houstonpress.com/news/vote-for-houstons-large-property-tax-hike-set-for-next-month-9788082

Not very many people in Houston have flood insurance, so they're having to pay out of pocket for rebuilding.  And now the city wants to up their property taxes by nearly 10%.

Texas carpet bombs its own hurricane-traumatized victims with neurological poisons sprayed from military planes

...The chemtrail spraying of Texas residents is taking place during daylight hours, while insecticide-spewing fog trucks run all night. Military aircraft equipped with chemtrail spraying equipment — something the entire mainstream media still mocks as somehow being a conspiracy theory — are being openly used in this operation.

“The C-130 cargo planes operating from an air force base in San Antonio joined two smaller aircraft that sprayed in south Texas last week,” reports Reuters. “In Jefferson County on the eastern Texas coast, aerial spraying began Sunday and could end Tuesday.”

Thus, the entire mainstream media now confirms that chemtrail spraying is taking place in Texas. Furthermore, military hardware is being used to conduct the spraying operations, which consist of bombarding the population with toxic chemicals. None of this is debated. Yes, the U.S. government is carpet bombing U.S. citizens with neurological poisons. This is all openly admitted by the Texas government....

http://www.govtslaves.com/2017-09-18-texas-carpet-bombs-its-own-hurricane-traumatized-victims-with-neurological-poisons-sprayed-from-military-planes.html

So, under the guise of needing to rid areas of mosquitoes so that hurricane clean-up can take place, the U.S. military is poisoning us.

Part of the article talks about larvacides, used to kill mosquito larva.  But chemicals are not needed.  TIP - A drop or two of oil on top of water will suffocate mosquito larva.  You've all see the oil on water sheen...a single drop of oil will spread out to cover several square yards of surface area.  The oil clogs the breathing tubes of the larva.  We dump out small bits of water and use a drop or two of olive oil on larger areas.  Works like a charm.

Hurricane Maria regains Category 3 strength, Puerto Rico could be without power for months
Posted 5:23 am, September 21, 2017, by Web Staff and CNN Wire

...

Puerto Rico without power

Puerto Rico’s energy grid took such a severe blow from deadly Hurricane Maria that restoring power to everyone may take months, Gov. Ricardo Rosselló told CNN on Wednesday night.

The entire system is down, the governor said. No one on the island has power from utilities.

Puerto Rico, which has been through a long recession and is deeply in debt, has a power grid that is “a little bit old, mishandled and weak,” Rosselló told “Anderson Cooper 360˚.”

...

Dominica: 14 dead; looting and food, water shortages

On the island of Dominica, which took the full force of Maria before the storm passed on to the US territory, government spokesman Charles Jong told CNN that 14 people had died.

...

Storm has moved toward the Dominican Republic

Now that Maria has moved past Puerto Rico, a US territory with 3.3 million people, search and rescue teams are taking to the country’s darkened streets.
...
“This is total devastation,” said Carlos Mercader, a spokesman for Puerto Rico’s governor. “Puerto Rico, in terms of the infrastructure, will not be the same. … This is something of historic proportions.”
...

Radars knocked out

Maria became the first hurricane of Category 4 strength or higher in 85 years to make a direct landfall on Puerto Rico.

The hurricane slammed the US territory with such intensity, it broke two National Weather Service radars there.

They reported that 4 elderly neighbors in retirement community of around 1,200 died. They think from heat due to no AC and 90 degree temps in their homes. Wonder how many other elderly died due to the same reasons.

Sad!

Incredible video by one of the rescuers during Hurricane Harvey.  Worth watching the whole thing, but at about 37:00 he talks about "flushing the toilet on Port Arthur."  From 37 to the end gives a good idea of the work he and others did there.

After Hurricane Maria, what will it take to turn Puerto Rico's power back on?

https://www.theverge.com/2017/9/25/16362410/hurricane-maria-puerto-rico-power-outages-electrical-grid-destroyed

Puerto Rico still has major problems. Infrastructure problems (roads, airport, ports, electric out for 90%, break up of local officials, etc) are keeping supplies from getting to the people. The grid was dessimated.

The port is full of supplies but no way to dustribute without roads or drivers.

Cnn bitches, but doesnt carry the Fema press conferences that inform people. Do your damn job CNN. If you can show the childish NFL kneelers ad nauseum, and keep reporting lies about Russia crap, you can carry official reports from officials on Puerto Rico.

I just watched the blonde (short straight hair) idiot on CNN (noon show) ask the fema director 3 times (who is doing a superb job despite the incredible challenges) how do you think things are going. She was implying they were not doing their job and had to repeat it like a parrot. How stupid is this little girl? The director told her if you would carry the many fema press conferences you would know. He was disgusted, as we all are with the children on CNN.
