He signed it!

Donald Trump Executive Actions Kill TPP,
Announce Federal Hiring Freeze,
Restore Mexico City Policy

CHARLIE SPIERING. 23 Jan 2017

President Donald Trump signed three executive actions this morning, killing the Trans-Pacific partnership, instituting a federal hiring freeze, and restoring the Mexico City policy, which bans federal funds from being used to fund abortions.

“We’ve been talking about this for a long time … a great thing for the American worker,” Trump said after signing the order killing former President Obama’s signature trade effort.

Trump senior advisors stood and watched Trump sign the executive orders as senior advisor Reince Priebus announced each order as it was signed.

Trump specified that the hiring freeze for federal workers would not apply to the military.

Ethics Experts File Lawsuit Saying Trump's Overseas Interests Violate Constitution
January 23, 2017 9:19 AM ET

A team of ethics experts and legal scholars filed a lawsuit in federal court Monday morning that says President Trump's overseas businesses violate the Constitution's Emoluments Clause, which bars presidents from taking money from foreign governments.

The group says it is asking the court "to stop Trump from violating the Constitution by illegally receiving payments from foreign governments" with ties to Trump interests. The lawsuit states that:

"These violations of the Foreign Emoluments Clause pose a grave threat to the United States and its citizens. As the Framers were aware, private financial interests can subtly sway even the most virtuous leaders, and entanglements between American officials and foreign powers could pose a creeping, insidious threat to the Republic."

The lawsuit cites numerous examples of how Trump stands to make money by doing business with companies and other entities linked to foreign government.
...
Former Obama administration ethics adviser Norman Eisen told Morning Edition recently that Trump's business ties violate the Emoluments Clause in numerous ways:

...

It remains to be seen how the lawsuit will be received, because the courts have never ruled on how the Emoluments Clause relates to the president. Trump's lawyers have already indicated they will oppose the suit.

Rasmussen:
President Trump’s Approval Index Booms Up Since Inauguration

MATTHEW BOYLE  24 Jan 2017

While the media may be continuing their attacks on him, President Donald Trump is off to a strong start with the American people, according to his approval rating index from Rasmussen Reports.

In the four days since his inauguration on Jan. 20, President Trump’s approval index has boomed upward a whopping seven points. Back on January 20—Inauguration Day—Trump’s approval index was plus two points. Now, four days later, it’s plus nine points—after being plus four points on Monday.

At this time, 42 percent of the nation strongly approves of what President Trump is doing, while only 33 percent strongly disapprove—and overall, 57 percent approve of the president, while just 43 percent disapprove.

Trump Is Said to Keep James Comey as F.B.I. Director

By MICHAEL S. SCHMIDT and ADAM GOLDMAN JAN. 24, 2017

WASHINGTON — The F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, told his top agents from around the country that he had been asked by President Trump to stay on the job running the federal government’s top law enforcement agency, according to people familiar with the matter.

A decision to retain Mr. Comey would spare the president another potentially bruising confirmation battle. It would also keep Mr. Comey at the center of the F.B.I.’s investigation into several Trump associates and their potential ties with the Russian government.

Trump keeping Comey as FBI head: report
By Ben Kamisar - 01/24/17 09:07 AM EST

President Trump has decided to keep James Comey on as director of the FBI, The New York Times reported Tuesday morning.

Comey faced heavy criticism
during the presidential campaign from both sides of the aisle for his treatment of the investigation into Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of State.

FBI directors are appointed to 10-year terms to limit the political pressure on their position. Comey's began in 2013 under President Obama, but Trump has the power to dismiss Comey if he wants.

While presidents typically keep FBI directors for their full terms, Comey's fate had been up in the air due to the turbulent campaign.

Exclusive:
Trump expected to sign executive orders on immigration

Julia Edwards Ainsley

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign several executive orders on Wednesday restricting immigration from Syria and six other Middle Eastern or African countries, according to several congressional aides and immigration experts briefed on the matter.

In addition to Syria, Trump's orders are expected to temporarily restrict access to the United States for most refugees. Another order will block visas from being issued to Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified.

Trump's restrictions on refugees are likely to include a multi-month ban on admissions from all countries until the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security can increase the intensity of the vetting process.

Quote
Other measures may include directing all agencies to finish work on a biometric identification system for non-citizens entering and exiting the United States and a crackdown on immigrants fraudulently receiving government benefits, according to the congressional aides and immigration experts.

OLD U.S. ENEMY THREATENS 'WAR' IF TRUMP MOVES EMBASSY
Plans formation of 'special division to liberate Jerusalem'
ART MOORE

A major nemesis during the Iraq War is warning that if the U.S. moves its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, as President Trump has vowed, it will be regarded as a declaration of war against Islam.

Iraqi cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, who led a militia against U.S.-led coalition forces in Iraq, called for the “formation of a special division to liberate Jerusalem were the decision to be implemented.”

Quote
Although Congress passed a law two decades ago directing that the embassy be moved to Jerusalem, every president has signed a waiver every six months, citing national security concerns. The U.S. largely has fallen in line with United Nations policy, which does not recognize Israel’s annexation of east Jerusalem after the city’s capture in the Arab-initiated Six Day War.

To move the embassy, Trump would only need to allow the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act to take effect. Passed 93-5 in the Senate and 374-37 in the House, it declares, “Jerusalem should be recognized as the capital of the State of Israel,” and the U.S. Embassy should be established there “no later than May 31, 1999.”

When Trump was running, he stated that he would cut federal funds to 'sanctuary cities'... one such city is Chicago.

Rahm Immanuel, mayor of Chicago, fired back that he didn't care what Trump thought Chicago would remain a 'sanctuary city.'

Fact is that harboring an invasion force of illegals against our immigration laws, and demanding federal funds to support it, is not only sheer arrogance, but is a direct violation of Article IV Section 4 of the Constitution, which requires United States action to quell the invasion lest it spread nation wide.

With or without Illinois state support, the foreign criminals and their murderous drug culture, the media created, Hollywood hyped and glorified foreign thug power and control system that feeds the fires of violence in Chicago, must be stopped.

The Illinois state government and the government of the city of Chicago, can be seen as ineffectual at best or complicit at worst in the diminished state of constitutionally protected rightful liberty and the resulting insecurity being afforded the good people of Chicago and Illinois, due to their unconstitutional stance.

Trump merely wants to give them a hand to rectify the situation is all.

Article IV, Section 4
The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of
government, and shall protect each of them against invasion;
and on application of
the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against
domestic violence.

Trump Signs MAJOR Executive Orders On Immigration
January 25th 2017

President Donald Trump is making good on several more campaign promises on Wednesday, signing several executive orders on immigration.

The Associated Press reports that one executive order will take the first steps toward building the U.S.-Mexico border wall, according to two administration officials. Trump alluded to this in a Tweet on Tuesday evening:

Trump moving forward with border wall, weighs refugee cuts
By JULIE PACE, VIVIAN SALAMA and RACHEL ZOLL - Jan. 25, 2017 11:52 AM EST

EXCERPTS:
The president will sign the first actions — including the measure authorizing work on the wall —during a trip to the Department of Homeland Security Wednesday afternoon. He'll also move to increase the number of border patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.

"The current proposal includes at least a four-month halt on all refugee admissions, as well as a temporary ban on people coming from some Muslim-majority countries, according to a source from a public policy organization that monitors refugee issues."

Dow Surpasses 20000

Last Updated Jan 25, 2017 at 2:42 pm ET
The Dow Jones Industrial Average has broken through 20000 intraday for the first time in its history. We're tracking all major markets in real time.

NYSE Suffered Glitch as Dow Hit 20000

A technical glitch briefly halted trading of hundreds of securities on one of the NYSE's marketplaces this morning, just as Wall Street was celebrating the Dow breaking the 20000 mark.

The outage on NYSE Arca, which specializes in listings of exchange-traded funds, began just after markets opened at 9:30 am Eastern and initially affected 89 securities, including a number of iShares ETFs, a NYSE spokeswoman says.

NYSE restarted certain systems to fix the problem, and while the systems were rebooting, a total of 674 securities were unavailable for trading on Arca from 9:38 a.m. to 9:47 a.m., the spokeswoman adds.

... defund UN!

NYT, citing sources:
Trump preparing orders to drastically reduce
US involvement in United Nations

Christine Wang

The Donald Trump administration is drawing up executive orders to curtail U.S. funding to international agencies — including those connected to the United Nations — The New York Times reported.

The newspaper said one order would apply to agencies that support causes which the Trump administration has vocally denounced. The drafts suggest the orders would apply to organizations that, for example, fund abortion or those that are "controlled or substantially influenced by any state that sponsors terrorism," the Times reported.

Before taking office, Trump was critical of the U.N. after its security council called for a halt to Israeli settlement-building.

A different draft order obtained by the Times said that the Trump administration would call for a review of all treaties with multiple countries — with the goal of determining which ones the United States should exit.

I was 14 in 1961 when John Kennedy was inaugurated and gave his famous speech of universal challenge... everything was black and white then especially TV and Newspapers... Trump's speech today was utterly Kennedy-Inaugural-esque in it's content and feel. The 'exploration of space' comment was the cherry on top.

In 1963 we took a 55 year side trip into darkest tyranny... we've maneuvered, fought, and educated, taking set backs and leaps ahead. Today we regained control. Vigilance and education are our best tools to keep the wheel in the hands of the People.

President Trump's inaugural address was such an inspiring speech, and it made me proud to be an American again.  I hope my children can grow up in a more hopeful world.  Researching deeply into the JFK assassination is what really opened my eyes to greater truth.

Trump Orders EPA To Take Down
Global Warming Web-Page

ANDREW FOLLETT - 01/25/2017

The Trump administration told the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to take down its global warming webpage, an anonymous EPA staffer said.

“If the website goes dark, years of work we have done on climate change will disappear,” the staffer told Reuters Tuesday. The staffer was not authorized to speak to the media and claimed EPA employees were scrambling to save data on the website.

The EPA’s global warming webpage is currently still up as of Wednesday morning. The page contains some links to EPA’s data on carbon dioxide (CO2) as well as other greenhouse gas emissions and lists the effects the agency says global warming will have. The site doesn’t host much of the data, however, and only aggregates links to it.

Trump State Department Holds,
Reviews Obama’s $221M for Palestinians

JOEL B. POLLAK  25 Jan 2017

President Donald Trump has reportedly stopped the payment of $221 million in U.S. taxpayer funds to the Palestinians, and the State Department is now reviewing the decision to transfer the money.

In the last hours of his presidency last Friday morning, President Barack Obama overrode congressional objections and decided to release the funds. Outgoing Secretary of State John Kerry informed Congress of the administration’s decision, and the public learned about the transfer this week.

UPDATE! WSJ is now reporting not a "glitch".

President Trump's inaugural address was such an inspiring speech, and it made me proud to be an American again.  I hope my children can grow up in a more hopeful world.  Researching deeply into the JFK assassination is what really opened my eyes to greater truth.

Yes... we have become so used to the dirty-tricks and slight-of-hand that our representatives, so called, including the president are engaged in from the very time they announce; and it's become so blatant that when righteous truth and honor enter we are almost totally jaded against it.

The bottom of the JFK Assassination rabbit hole is coming up in 21 years... faster if acted on by an aware people, Congress, and President... otherwise all is scheduled for declassification in 2038. Such is the extent of the conspiracy against America that exploded horribly upon us that late November day in Dallas.

CDC cancels next month’s ‘climate and health’ summit in Atlanta

Greg Bluestein and Jim Galloway
January 23, 2017

According to Climatewire, an E&E News publication, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control “quietly and abruptly” canceled a major climate-change gathering scheduled for next month. The action was taken shortly after Donald Trump’s election as president in November, but is only now coming to light. From the newsletter:

... “a late-night guy and early morning riser”  ...

Trump sets dizzying WH pace in first days
AMIE PARNES - 01/26/17

In his first days in office, President Trump is taking on
a dizzying schedule that is decidedly different from
those of his immediate predecessors.

Trump is in the Oval Office to take meetings earlier than President Obama, and he’s worked through dinner to stay in the West Wing later than President George W. Bush, who would generally return to his residence at 6 p.m. sharp.

Trump doesn’t like to read books, those who know him say. And he doesn’t work out because he believes it’s an energy drain, according to the 2016 book “Trump Revealed.”

“When you’re making speeches for 25,000 people and shouting and screaming and having fun with everybody and making America great again, you get a lot of exercise,” he told People magazine last summer.

Quote
In some ways, Trump’s transition to office has been more seamless than those of his predecessors.

After all, he knows what it’s like to live above the store. After working late as president of the Trump Organization, he would routinely take the elevator upstairs to his Trump Tower penthouse.

But without his immediate family regularly around for now, Trump especially “wants to keep himself busy,” Blakeman predicted.

“Because when you go up [to the residence] at 6 p.m., what are you going to do?” he said. “Without your wife and your kid, you’re pretty lonely. And being president is a lonely job.”

President Trump calls out mainstream
media for failing to cover March for Life

Wed Jan 25, 2017

January 26, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) – During a Wednesday night interview with ABC, President Trump called out the media for covering a pro-abortion march but ignoring the March for Life.

ABC's David Muir asked Trump if he "could hear the voices from the women’s march here in Washington?"

"I couldn’t hear them, but the crowds were large," Trump responded. "You’re gonna have a large crowd on Friday, too, which is mostly pro-life people. You’re gonna have a lot of people coming on Friday, and I will say this, and I didn’t realize this, but I was told, you will have a very large crowd of people. I don’t know – as large or larger – some people say it’s gonna be larger. Pro-life people. And they say the press doesn’t cover them."

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) - Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto said on Thursday he had scrapped plans to meet Donald Trump next week after the U.S. president tweeted Mexico should cancel the meeting if it was not prepared to pay for his proposed border wall.

"This morning we informed the White House that I will not attend the work meeting planned for next Tuesday with the POTUS," Pena Nieto said on Twitter, referring to Trump.

"Mexico reiterates its willingness to work with the United States to reach accords that favor both nations."

... crazy extremist, Shia LaBeouf, arrested!

Shia LaBeouf Taken Away in Handcuffs
During Anti-Trump Livestream

BEN KEW.  26 Jan 2017

The actor and left-wing activist Shia LaBeouf was seen being taken away in handcuffs by police whilst participating in his anti-Trump exhibit at a museum in New York, images show.

Last Tuesday, LaBeouf unveiled the performance art exhibit, which is a four year live stream at the Museum of The Moving Picture, New York, consisting of a bare white wall with a camera pointed out towards visitors and the phrase “He Will Not Divide Us” printed above it.

Passers-by are encouraged to stand in front of the camera and look into it while repeating the phrase, which is live streamed onto the internet at hewillnotdivide.us.

However images from the stream in the early hours of this morning show LaBeouf being placed in handcuffs and being taken away by police. TMZ reports that LaBeouf was involved in a physical altercation with a Trump supporter, although this was not captured on the stream.

"...  the New York Police Department (NYPD) will maintain
a presence at the site to ensure crowd control for as long as necessary."

State Dept. senior management team resigns: report
By Rebecca Savransky - 01/26/17 11:34 AM EST

The State Department's entire senior level of management has resigned less than a week into Donald Trump's administration.

The resignations, reported by the The Washington Post
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/josh-rogin/wp/2017/01/26/the-state-departments-entire-senior-management-team-just-resigned/?utm_term=.4b779861630b

, included Patrick Kennedy, the agency's undersecretary for management who had served in the role for nine years.

Assistant Secretary of State for Administration Joyce Anne Barr, Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Michele Bond and Ambassador Gentry O. Smith, director of the Office of Foreign Missions, resigned as well, the Post reported.

It is not clear whether the officials were forced out by the incoming Trump administration, but the changes shook up Washington — where Trump's approach to the foreign service had already raised eyebrows.
“It’s the single biggest simultaneous departure of institutional memory that anyone can remember, and that’s incredibly difficult to replicate,” David Wade, who served as State Department chief of staff under Secretary of State John Kerry, told The Post.

Earlier this year, it emerged that Trump's team had asked all politically-appointed U.S. ambassadors to clear out of their posts by Inauguration Day, in what was seen as a break with precedent.

Trump Vaccine Front Man RFK Jr.: CDC an “edifice of fraud”
Posted on January 17, 2017 by Jon Rappoport

Robert Kennedy, Jr. “All the things that I do are bent on forcing this [vaccine] debate out into the open—because once the science is in the open, the CDC’s position is so fragile, it’s an edifice of fraud, fraud stacked upon fraud, so high and so wobbly, that even a slight breeze of public scrutiny will topple it.”

Kennedy states that President Trump has appointed him to head up a task force investigating vaccine safety. The above quote indicates Kennedy, would, if given the green light, probe much more than the use of mercury in vaccines—his main topic of interest thus far.

I am pro vaccine. I had all of my six children vaccinated. I believe that vaccines save millions of lives.  So let me explain why I edited the book Thimerosal: Let The Science Speak, which exposes the dangerous—and wholly unnecessary—use of the mercury-based preservative thimerosal in vaccines being given to millions of children
and pregnant women here and around the world.

Vaccines are big business. Pharma is a trillion-dollar industry with vaccines accounting for $25 billion in annual sales. CDC’s decision to add a vaccine to the schedule can guarantee its manufacturer millions of customers and billions in revenue with minimal advertis- ing or marketing costs and complete immunity from lawsuits. High stakes and the seamless marriage between Big Pharma and government agencies have spawned an opaque and crooked regulatory system. Merck, one of America’s leading vaccine outfits, is currently under investigation for deceiving FDA regulators about the effectiveness of its MMR vaccine. Two whistleblowers say Merck ginned up sham studies to maintain Merck’s MMR monopoly.

Big money has fueled the exponential expansion of CDC’s vaccine schedule since 1988, when Congress’ grant of immunity from lawsuits suddenly transformed vaccines into paydirt. CDC recommended five pediatric vaccines when I was a boy in 1954. Today’s children cannot school without at least 56 doses of 14 vaccines by the time they’re 18.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole ; He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. - Job 5

... Theresa May proving to be a strong ally ...

Let’s stand together and halt eclipse of the West
● No more failed wars like Iraq, May tells Trump
● Our values must endure despite China’s rise

Francis Elliott, Philadelphia
January 27 2017

Theresa May offered last night to help President Trump to prevent the West from being “eclipsed” by China as she urged him not to shirk his “obligation” to lead the world.

In a speech to a Republican congressional retreat in Philadelphia the prime minister matched parts of Mr Trump’s controversial foreign policy.

She criticised China’s increasingly “assertive” posture, promised to help to curb Iran’s “malign influence” in the Middle East and to do more to defend allies such as Israel in “tough neighbourhoods” while admitting that it was time to engage Russia in the search for peace in Syria.

Mrs May offered an updated edition of the special relationship, one that would be shorn of illusions about “making the world in our image” ...

UPDATE  January 26 at 3:03 PM

Ya gotta give it to the left, they move fast.

CDC’s canceled climate change conference is back on — thanks to Al Gore

It turns out there will be a conference in Atlanta next month about climate change and its effects on public health. It just won’t have the federal government behind it.

The reason? Former vice president Al Gore.

“He called me and we talked about it and we said, ‘There’s still a void and still a need.’ We said, ‘Let’s make this thing happen,’ ” said Georges Benjamin, executive director of the American Public Health Association. “It was a no-brainer.”

News of a revived conference comes days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention abruptly canceled its long-planned Climate and Health Summit in the lead-up to the change in White House administrations. Benjamin called the move a “strategic retreat” given the climate skepticism of the incoming administration.

... Fake News?

Media Reports State Dept.
‘Mass Resignation,’ Officials Actually Fired

JOHN HAYWARD. 6 Jan 2017

Today’s Fake News freakout began with a buzzing swarm of headlines about “mass resignations” by the “entire senior level of management officials” at the State Department resigning in some stunning act of protest against President Trump.

Before long, we learned we were talking about four people, and they did not resign, they were fired.
“The State Department’s Entire Senior Management Team Just Resigned,” gasped the Washington Post, prompting a ripple of secondary headlines across mediaspace. Some of those headlines were a bit more cautious, such as the Jerusalem Post reporting that the State Department team resigned “in a possibly coordinated walkout.”

As it turns out, that “walkout” was coordinated by the Trump administration:

"Trump’s accomplishments in five days are nothing short
of miraculous. We are witnessing history. And it’s wonderful.
And no one is talking about it. It’s kafkaesque."

Pam Geller:
President Trump – True to His Word

AMELA GELLER. 26 Jan 2017

It’s been less than a week since President Donald J. Trump took office, and he has, in no short order, astonishingly delivered on myriad campaign promises. In spades. His hands-on style of governing is breathtaking. The people spoke. The people won. And our man is delivering the goods. It’s what freedom is supposed to look like. We have been living under the boot of leftist autocrats for so long, we forgot it could be this good.

We have been set free. Every day is Christmas.

The whole of the enemedia is in a collective tailspin, hell-bent on ignoring his monumental accomplishments, and instead are churning out fake news stories about crowd size — his and the sore losers march (funny how they never did a story on Tea Party crowd size). Last night, ABC news anchor David Muir, in the first interview Trump gave as President, made something of an ass of himself trying to bait the President focusing on “crowd size” and today’s favorite enemedia meme — “who’ll pay for the wall?” As if the Democrats ever gave a fig about costs. Who paid for the absurd “cash for clunkers”? Or Obama’s endless bailouts? Or Obamacare? Or Obama’s hundreds of billions to Iran? Or Obama’s 20 trillion dollar deficit? If Trump says Mexico will pay for that wall, rest assured, they will — one way or another.

"The left will not go quietly. They want a war, and
by George, they may very well get one."

Reuters:
Largest 10 ‘Sanctuary Cities’ May Lose
$2.27 Billion in Federal Funding

by KATIE MCHUGH - 26 Jan 2017

The ten most populous cities where local leaders shield
illegal immigrants from federal law could lose $2.27 billion
in federal funds, a Reuters analysis has found.

New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and other large cities could lose federal funding for housing, education, airport improvements, HIV treatment, and more. “The [funding] numbers do not include federal money for law enforcement, which was excluded in the executive order, and programs like Medicaid, which are administered by state governments,” Reuters states.

One estimate found 300 “sanctuary city” jurisdictions exist where state or local officials refuse to cooperate with federal law enforcement officers, and which order cops not to discover arrestees’ immigration status. Nationwide, at least 11 million illegal immigrants live in America’s towns and cities.

President Donald Trump issued an executive order Wednesday instructing Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly to look at all channels of federal funding for sanctuary cities and determine how they can be changed by the administration.

"... he’s ordered deputies to collect and publicize data about
crimes by illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities ..."
