Alfred Hitchcock. Steven Spielberg, George Miller, David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, Mel Gibson, Paul Verhoeven, Christopher Smith and Ridley Scott have all admitted putting hidden themes, messages or subliminals in their movies. This video outlines twelve examples from these nine directors. If you want to know more about these and other movies that have hidden depths be sure to subscribe and visit my website http://www.collativelearning.com/ where you'll find lots of detailed and well sourced articles on classic movies. Written, edited and narrated by Rob Ager

Very interesting.

I still find the hidden theme found by Rob Ager, though unadmitted, of 'Gold' in Stanley Kubrick's movie 'The Shining' one of the most fascinating.

Why Blade Runner is an all-time Great

Nobody has to explain to me why Blade Runner is an all-time great in that genre. It's still number one on my SF-movie list.

Still listen to the amazing Blade Runner music by Vangelis btw. Enjoy!

Apocalypse Now is my all-time number one in the 'war movie' genre. First it was Deer Hunter and thought no movie could beat that but it obviously did.

No two people  will have the same short list of all time favorite films because we are all different...Obviously ... ;)...For whatever reason one of my five  favorite films is MEET JOE BLACK....Brad Pitt is far from being a favorite actor of mine but Anthony Hopkins is.....

I have to admit I am fascinated with the idea of death....And I'm also extremely attracted to Claire Forlani

There used to be an excellent esoteric movie review site, but I can no longer find it.  Can't recall the name of the site, can't come up with a combination of words to google it.

The reviewer picked apart films looking at symbols (obvious pictographic symbols as well as kabbalah numerological symbols).  He would explain the arc of the story and how the symbology supported the storytelling.  He only reviewed movies that had Luciferian themes.  Amazing stuff.

I remember one post that impressed me was an analysis of Talladega Nights.  I thought before reading the analysis that it was just another stupid Will Ferrell comedy, but no, it's Luciferian.  By the time I finished reading the analysis I had NO DOUBT of it.  You couldn't just accidentally churn out something like that.

Anyone know the site I mean?  Sure like to find it again.  There were several pieces there I wanted to read.
