11:30 p.m.

Television station aerial coverage is showing protesters breaking windows on a police vehicle after an officer shot a man earlier in the day at a Charlotte apartment complex.

On WSOC-TV footage Tuesday night, several of the vehicle’s windows appeared to be broken and the windshield shattered. Demonstrators lingered after the initial damage.

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has posted on its Twitter account that demonstrators are destroying marked police vehicles and one officer has sustained injuries that are not life threatening.

Earlier, a tow truck was brought in to take another police cruiser away. Local media outlets reported that car suffered damage to its rear end.

One television news crew has retreated from the scene after demonstrators began rocking their remote van, which was parked near the apartment complex where the shooting occurred.

Overhead, the CMPD helicopter hovered, shining a spotlight on the protest.

Video from WCCB-TV in Charlotte showed police in riot gear confronting protesters at an apartment complex after an officer shot a man there earlier in the day.

The officers were shown backing up as protesters advanced down the street Tuesday night. Initial reports say at least 100 protesters gathered at the scene, with some throwing water bottles at police.

The police officers were in riot gear stretched across a two-lane road. Some of the officers flanked the main line on one side of the road

Some protesters were heard yelling “Black lives matter,” and “Hands up, don’t shoot!” One person held up a sign saying “Stop Killing Us.”

Police in North Carolina have shot and killed a person who they say was armed and posed a threat.

A statement from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said officers were at an apartment complex on Tuesday looking for a suspect with an outstanding warrant when they encountered a person — not the suspect they were looking for — inside a car. Officials say the person exited the car with a gun, then got back in.

The statement said when officers approached the car, the person got out of the car with the gun again. The officers considered the person to be a threat and fired their weapons. Emergency personnel took the person to Carolinas Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect’s identity hasn’t been released.

The officers have been placed on administrative leave.

Protests erupt after fatal shooting by police; 12 officers injured

A dozen police officers were injured Tuesday night in clashes with several hundred people protesting an officer-involved fatal shooting in the University City area.

Shouting protesters continued to block streets well after midnight, despite the use of tear gas by police in riot gear.

The protest began on Old Concord Road at Bonnie Lane, where a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officer fatally shot a man in the parking lot of a University City apartment complex Tuesday afternoon.

The man who died was identified late Tuesday as Keith Lamont Scott, 43, and the officer who fired the fatal shot was CMPD Officer Brentley Vinson, a police statement said. Both men were African-American, a police source confirmed.

Charlotte officials say they are preparing for more protests today following a night of violence over a police officer’s fatal shooting of an African-American man Tuesday in the University City area. The dead man was identified as Keith Lamont Scott, 43.

Sixteen police officers were injured overnight in a series of clashes, and there were reports early Wednesday of motorists on Interstate 85 being hurt and their vehicles damaged when protesters threw rocks, bottles and traffic cones off interstate overpasses onto traffic below.

The officers hurt suffered mostly minor injuries, though one was hit in the face with a rock, officials said.

At a Wednesday news conference, city leaders appealed for calm and promised a thorough investigation.

... continuing: the rebellion escalates:

Charlotte Under Siege
Posted at 5:00 am on September 22, 2016 by Caleb Howe

In Charlotte, North Carolina, riots took place overnight out of what were originally purported to be protests in the wake of yet another police shooting. It is the second night of violent clashes for the city.

Shots were fired, and one civilian went to the hospital in critical condition, the apparent victim of gunfire from another civilian. A police officer was assaulted. A highway was blocked and cars were surrounded as the drivers were terrorized (video at link).

Rioters even attempted to drag a photographer into a fire they set, as others blocked access to emergency vehicles. Luckily the police on the street intervened and rescued him.

Widespread looting took place, with smashed windows and cars. One reporter who has covered both the Ferguson and Baltimore riots stated that this was the worst property destruction he's ever seen.

Riots over police shooting engulf Charlotte for 2nd straight night
Published September 22, 2016
· FoxNews.com

Violence erupted in parts of downtown Charlotte on Wednesday as anger continued to build over the deadly police shooting of a black man and the different stories about what happened from authorities and the victim’s family and neighbors.

North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory declared a state of emergency and called in the National Guard after Charlotte’s police chief said he needed the help.

"Any violence directed toward our citizens or police officers or destruction of property should not be tolerated," McCrory said in a statement. "I support and commend the law enforcement officials for their bravery and courage during this difficult situation."

What started out as a prayer vigil after the shooting of 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott on Tuesday turned into an angry march and then a night of violence. A man was shot and critically wounded as protesters charged police in riot gear trying to protect an upscale hotel. Police initially said the man had died, but later corrected the statement saying he was on life support. Police didn’t shoot the man, city officials said.

Video obtained and verified by The Associated Press, which was recorded right after the shooting, shows someone lying in a pool of blood as people scream and a voice yells for someone to call for help. People are then told to back up from the scene.
....

Officials have refused to release video of the shooting of Scott by Officer Brentley Vinson — who is also African-American — and two starkly different versions have emerged as a result. Police say Scott disregarded repeated demands to drop his gun, while neighborhood residents say he was holding a book, not a weapon, as he waited for his son to get off the school bus.

...

Earlier Wednesday, Putney told a news conference that officers were serving arrest warrants on another person when they saw Scott get out of a vehicle with a handgun. Vinson, a plainclothes officer wearing a vest emblazoned "Police," shot Scott after the officer and other uniformed members of the force made "loud, clear" demands that he drop the gun, the chief said.

Putney was adamant that Scott posed a threat, even if he didn't point his weapon at officers, and said a gun was found next to the dead man. "I can tell you we did not find a book," the chief said.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-09-22/who-behind-riots-charlotte-police-says-70-arrested-protesters-had-out-state-ids

Of course---another Soros operation fueled by his money.  ANOTHER FALSE FLAG FUNDED BY SOROS WHO CREATES CRISES IN THE STOCK MARKET TO MAKE MONEY.

Who Is Behind The Riots? Charlotte Police Says 70% Of Arrested Protesters Had Out Of State IDs

Confirming what many had suspected when viewing the sudden and intense collapse into anrchy that occurred in Charlotte this week, Todd Walther, spokesman for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Fraternal Order of Police told CNN's Erin Burnett:

"This is not Charlotte that's out here.  These are outside entities that are coming in and causing these problems. These are not protestors, these are criminals."

"We've got the instigators that are coming in from the outside.  They were coming in on buses from out of state.  If you go back and look at some of the arrests that were made last night. I can about say probably 70% of those had out-of-state IDs.  They're not coming from Charlotte."

As shocking as this statement is, it should not be a total surprise. 18 months ago, as the riots flared in Ferguson, there was one man pulling the strings of this 'domestic false flag'... George Soros. In an apparent effort to  "keep the media’s attention on the city and to widen the scope of the incident to focus on interrelated causes — not just the overpolicing and racial discrimination narratives that were highlighted by the news media in August," liberal billionaire George Soros donated $33million to social justice organizations which helped turn events in Ferguson from a local protest into a national flashpoint.

As The Washington Times explains,

There’s a solitary man at the financial center of the Ferguson protest movement. No, it’s not victim Michael Brown or Officer Darren Wilson. It’s not even the Rev. Al Sharpton, despite his ubiquitous campaign on TV and the streets.

Rather, it’s liberal billionaire George Soros, who has built a business empire that dominates across the ocean in Europe while forging a political machine powered by nonprofit foundations that impacts American politics and policy, not unlike what he did with MoveOn.org.

Mr. Soros spurred the Ferguson protest movement through years of funding and mobilizing groups across the U.S., according to interviews with key players and financial records reviewed by The Washington Times.

Civil War Charlotte:: The Last Capital of the Confederacy (Civil War Series) Paperback  – June 5, 2012
by Michael C. Hardy

Though always an important North Carolina city, Charlotte truly helped to make history during the Civil War. The city's factories produced gunpowder, percussion caps, and medicine for the Confederate cause. Perhaps most importantly, Charlotte housed the Confederate Naval Ordnance Depot and Naval Works, manufacturing iron for ironclad vessels and artillery projectiles, and providing valuable ammunition for the South

The growing economic disparity in Charlotte and the recent violence is on the mind of Hugh McColl, the former CEO of Bank of America who was the most public face of a group of bank executives that relentlessly boosted Charlotte during its massive growth to a city on the world's stage over the past three decades.
...

A similar message comes from the Rev. William Barber, president of the North Carolina NAACP.

When people work two jobs but don't make enough to own a home, they get discouraged, and seeing video after video of black men dying makes them lose hope and start to wonder if they matter to society, Barber said.

It reminded him of his lifeguard days, when Barber said he was warned that drowning people would violently fight off the swimmers trying to help them out of confusion and fear.

"The type of riots we are seeing in Charlotte is a systemic response for people who are drowning in injustice," he said.

... yes, of course, sad for the TULSA man shot ...
he was no doubt a scary individual, aggresive
vibes no doubt ... the young woman officer
was freaked out, adrenaline over-dosing,
probably pulled the trigger by 'accident'.
The big story here is that we, as a people,
need to re-assess having our women on the
front lines ... in our dangerous, crime-infested,
drugged out cities especially ... and up against
some of the worst, blood-thirsty MF-ers ... the
muslims ... the world has ever seen. It's as crazy ...
and unforgivable ... as forcing your 18 yr old
sister to play center against the Dallas Cowboys
frontline ... or even crazier. We need to challenge
our sensible American brothers on this ...
THINGS NEED TO BE CHANGED ...
civilized men DO NOT ALLOW THIS!

Tells Her Side Of The Story… “I Was Never…”

Quote
She pulled her weapon and ordered him to get on his knees. He did not comply and moved toward the SUV instead. Wood said Shelby then ordered Crutcher to stop and put his hands in the air. He did not obey those orders and continued walking to the car.

Wood said Shelby believed Crutcher attempted to reach inside the window, a move which prompted her to fire her weapon.

“As a police officer, you have to wonder — why would someone ignore commands at gunpoint to get to a certain location?” the attorney asked.
