I feel like a traitor rather than a trader, am I the only person on this forum that makes a living with the financial markets? I don't want to buy any more metals but I have to keep bringing money in and try to preserve capital. What I'm wondering is if converting into another currency is a good idea, I'm a little concerned about the Dollar with it on what feels like a death spiral, I'm not worth too much but I don't want to posess any more gold and silver, I certainly have enough to live for a couple years and if it gets as bad as it looks like it might gold will become a liability just like food, the all powerful FEMA scares the hell outta me. Some of their powers like enforcing the no food storage or how owning gold will be illegal...I could become an enemy of the state overnight.

These bait and switch names the elite use really piss me off, FEMA sounds nice and feminine and The Federal Reserve sounds like it belongs to Americans, we would have never fallen so far if the major agencies were named in an honest/truthful manner. Freakin Congress still has no idea what the Federal Reserve is all about, damn this sucks...I don't want to play survival, I just want to live free. My own family refuses to see the truth, anybody that isn't living the NWO hell doesn't want to hear about it, who cares if RP gets cheated in the very first primary...he was an also-ran from the start not having a chance in hell (the in hell part rings true).

I find it hard to get through the day, meaning I waste my day reading and searching for the next conspiercy to be exposed, the most irritating part is how the perps walk away more empowered. They make millions just to keep the secret, half the time it isn't even a secret but if they keep their mouth shut that's good enough. The system is so rotten it's making me wish I could delete what I've learned and go back to being ignorant and happy, I feel like being blindsided by the next False Flag Attack would be better than living in a perpetual state of Huh? It's like I can see my future but have no power to change it. Anyway, that's my depreciating 2 cents.

I wouldn't get too worried, I feel this way and by the looks of it, you're sitting better off than I!

I know that time is short, but this is it, we are all living our own set path, only we can decide to act in this reality that can lead to you staying alive, and that is all that matters, learn as much before leaving here, and understand that you were never meant to be here forever anyways, so enjoy the ride, make a stand, and do YOUR thing, others will come around whether by choice or by barrel of a gun. Sooner or later they will be FORCED to see reality for what it is, rather than what they 'think'.

My advice is to enjoy one last summer of being in a prosperous country.  Then get some popcorn and watch the chaos unfold on TV, I won't be going outside anyway if there are food and gas riots.  Everyone I know still says the economy is fine and I'm a nut for thinking we are in trouble.  They are gonna be blindfolded sheep until the very end.  This has the potential to be absolutely insane.

I could be dead wrong, but I don't predict "riots in the streets" and "SHTF" scenarios with soup lines and such.  What I see happening is more along the lines of a large portion of the middle class being knocked out of the middle class permanently.  Many Americans are about to learn a hard lesson for living beyond their means in an "instant gratification" society for so many years.  The full balance of the bill is about to come due, and it's going to be quite painful for many.

Just my .02 worth on the matter.

That is a great analysis that we have an "instant gratification society".  I hope you are right that it doesn't get completely out of hand.  I fear these people will react like a baby who gets his bottle taken away when they run out of cash and credit.  I was talking to the one person I know knowledgeable about the situation and we agree that it could cause extended families being forced to live under one roof like poor countries.  Does anyone else see this as a possible result?

Meh, I'm not sure.

I believe that is being a bit short sighted. The potential in my eyes for complete chaos is higher than one could comprehend.

The simple fact that instant gratification has led us to where we are, most generally believe that they are 'owed' the easy living because their 'American', as if they deserve special treatment, as well as a job, food, and a home.

I know that a hard lesson will be learned, but this will not be something that has ever been seen before in history, civilizations have fallen, but they consisted of REAL humans, what we have today hardly reflects 'real' humanism, we are so far and have deviated beyond any grounds for salvation imo.

In my eyes, the only sound advice is this. Learn as much as you can about being independant from anything corporate, stock food, stock ammo, stock supplies, and build up some form of wealth outside of Fiat currency.

Outside of that, anything is possible --- but to me it is as simple as this --- it sure as hell is going to get a lot harder around here before it gets any better.

I can't disagree with that....  It's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I've been trying to warn family/friends/peers/co-workers for months now about what could be right around the corner for us, and they all seem fairly disinterested.  The usual response is "yeah, we've been through these economic down-turns before, but after a quarter or two, things start bouncing back."  I tell them yeah, we've been through this before, but this time there's a whole lot more zero's at the end of the balance sheet.  This is where the conversation pretty much comes to an end.

Try buying into the Canadian markets, Its a premier exchange for miners and the added benefit of switching out of USD. Still it is difficult to "trade" these markets on a short term basis ie: days even weeks...but longer term trades in junior miners and explorers hold some real potential.
