Share your thoughts on this... http://www.ci.shreveport.la.us/email.htmThe officer's name is Wiley Willis. He did get fired, but apparently will NOT be charged for this. Indeed, pretty convenient that the camera just happened to stop recording (after he apparently turned it off). Disgraceful.

You know what people....WE HAVE THE POWER... Do you get it? Do you understand?? WE outnumber the elite and their servants...Every-time these cops or public officials abuse their power, it's time to go after them..Physically...Go get them, physically restrain them jail them and do what must be done...The system is against us now, the Government is against us now..Time to use the power we possess and get off our fat American Butts and Do something. First thing that needs to be done is this Cop needs to be run our of town or worse. Start getting these bastards back and they will think twice about abusing our rights. If we sit back and do nothing it will continue and get worse. Come on people...this is getting ridiculous.

Wow. This is just more proof that every American citizen needs to carry a video camera at all times. Too bad we can't lock this guy in a cage with a gorilla during mating season.

There needs to be a law created that makes it illegal (with harsh penalties) for ANYONE to shut off a camera during interrogation and/or booking. The entire process must be videotaped from start to finish, from arrest until release, with no cuts or edit points. It is painfully clear that we cannot trust law enforcement officers solely with their word any more. They must be watched at all times. Also, rotating independent observers should also be hired to sit in on all shifts at every police station. It is disgusting that this officer was not charged with a felony assault. The police claim there is no way to know what happened, but we have video evidence of the officer shutting off the video camera. That right there proves intent to obstruct justice. It may not be evidence of intent to commit bodily harm, but it CAN be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the officers was committing an act (by shutting the camera off) that would NOT help his legal case against this woman, since whatever happened afterward could no longer be proven. Therefore, it can be reasonably concluded that this officer's intent was to obstruct justice by preventing evidence from being added to the public record.

I heard Alex play this clip on the show today. You gotta love how the MSM presents this subject matter. They get to show us our 10 min of torture in order to acclimate us to our new slavery. They say it's just a problem with policy. By the way, if you invoke any constitutional right while being arrested for misdemeanor DWI/DUI, the cops will turn off the camera and beat the shit out of you. The MSM just wanted to let us know, and perhaps the cops will change the policy. This clip is missing the normal apologist attitude from civil rights groups. I guess the MSM didn't think the unconstitutionality of this case mattered. Is it me or does the MSM make an apology for this officer. As I said in another post about the drug war, these policies aim at criminalizing all citizens. This video is a great example - "you don't want to cooperate, well let me turn this video off so we can practice some pain compliance."

Tie that cop to a chair and punish him on camera.. cut off his fingers with bolt cutters one knuckle at a time. The send the tape to a local media for proof that justice has been served.. Just a thought not actually saying anyone should try this.

Do they not have compassion? Did they ever? There is a better way than this. I am furious. This hurts me. I don't want to see anyone suffer not even this pseudo-human monster. How could anyone do this to someone?
I blame us all. We allow it to happen. Human behavior disgusts me. Violence is evil. It goes against our natural way and I hate it. I don't want to live in this kind of world. Everything is set up so that the most disgusting and hateful humans rise to the top while the best and most caring are kept low, are destroyed. Whoever advocates peace is stifled and murdered while warmongers and evil men and women are given position of power and control.
We must give up all forms of violence save for in the last defense of life. Our violent destruction towards animals breeds this kind of hatred and villainy in us as does the consumption of their flesh. We have the capabilities to make a paradise of earth but we choose to be hateful, despicable creatures. We are all one: man, woman, black, white, christian, muslim, as well as animals and nature.
This world is transitory. It is fleeting. It is unreality. We are luminous beings, not this crude matter.
This violence makes me so ashamed to be considered part of the human race. I get angry, sad, and depressed from watching it. It makes me want to die because I feel as though we will never learn. Then I'm expected to just go on about my life. To eat and work and drink beer and buy a new car and buy pharmaceuticals and diamonds and ignore all the useless suffering...at least until it happens to me. "An injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere," Martin Luther King has said.
This butcher and monster. He takes the form of something else in society. Something just as disillusioned. He'll tell me I'm crazy. He'll try and convince me my value is tied to the degrees I have or the money I posses. That I'm wrong and a weak coward for not destroying others. They're convinced they're all good, that they're righteous. "Evil doesn't even know it's evil," Alex Jones.
If anyone believes they can solve violence with more violence then I tell you you will only become the monsters you hate.

Why is there no link to contact the police station or town hall regarding this incident published in this story? That is a crucial overlook...

This is even more relevant the more incidents like this are published and the MSM give it airtime for the ones that look to those sources for the information. Thought it should be reposted because of the relevance. See thread: http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=27213.0 http://www.rense.com/general80/oplet.htmOpen Letter To The Tens Of Thousands Of Rogue Cops Jim Kirwan 2-17-8 Your numbers may be growing among the millions of people wearing some kind of badge in the United States, but your days are numbered. Not because of any direct threat from people like me; no what I'm talking about here is the threat that you are creating all by yourselves. If you had been paying attention you would have seen this coming on your own. What the military and the mercenaries are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan each of you is now doing here, in your own tiny little world so full of arrogance and basic brutality. Every time you beat a man senseless, or shame a woman to tears in front of her loved ones, or randomly kill someone either by accident or by design it happens just because you can - so you make more than enemies - you plant the seeds of your own violent end. Have you ever seen children tear a well-trained combat soldier to pieces, I have. It happened in a relatively good neighborhood in LA, and the dead man was one of the most decorated marines we had. It happened a block and a half from my apartment. It was a very long time ago, but I never got over the shock of seeing what looked like The Lord of the Flies coming to life. Before the Decider, police forces were relatively small in comparison to the size of the populations they were charged with "Protecting and Serving." But after it became clear that the entire upper echelon of government had become nothing more than glorified street bandits: the gloves came off all the way down the food chain. So when the demonstrations against the wars began, your departments began to behave as if US citizens were the real Enemies of the State. Way back in 1992 the behavior patterns for you were in play in the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew. And you did oh such a job then of disposing of all those bodies-the Owners loved it, but that had to remain a secret because of "national security." (1) Then came Katrina and the mercenaries helped you out with your own campaign of terror against the survivors of New Orleans that had the temerity not to die. But from that point forward your ranks began to swell, as officers began to catch the drift of what would lead to their next promotion in the newly criminal world of 'law-enforcement.'(2) This was followed by Blackwater that was armed with new and secret contracts to retrain the sheriffs, the marshals, and the police of all stripes to convert them into the heavily armored combat troops that would very soon begin to patrol the streets and byways of America. Since then you have become brazenly bold and unflinching in your treatment of the people that you were supposed to protect-the same people that actually pay your inflated salaries. Contrary to what you might believe you are not a law unto yourselves-you're supposed to be peace officers. (3) That's what can be tracked about the current situation, and that's what most of you see as your current job: the brutalizing, the Tasering and or the killing of US citizens that fail in some small way to obey your every command-no matter how unreasonable. It seems no one knows exactly how many you have killed, as your departments fail to keep such records-but when one is too many - then a hundred or more amounts to a mutiny against the very people you are sworn to serve. Here's a rough history of your recent activities, in part. (4) What you don't seem to realize is that when you take off the Kevlar, and unstrap both your weapons, you need a shower, possibly a shave if you're male, and you'll need to grab something to eat. If you live in the Burbs which most cops do, you probably have "friends" and maybe you might want to go to a game or just get together with "friends." In brief you do what other people do unless you're a robot living in a barrack somewhere dark and semi-distant. If you have a family they have their lives to live as well, grocery shopping, school etc. just like other people-except that you are not like other people! You have become a secret enforcer, the muscle and bullets of the fascist state incarnate. And that makes you and yours into targets for those that you have wronged. What used to protect you was the good will of the people you served, but with that out-of-the-way now, because you've put yourself beyond the law and above the people that once cared whether you lived or died-your world has changed almost as much as ours: Only you still have no clue about the consequences that are coming! When you do what you do to ordinary people your actions affect the lives of a great many people beyond the targets of your brutality-and those people whether adults or children will not forget. Meanwhile you have forgotten that you are not Supermen or Superwomen, you're just flesh and blood like all the rest of us: and with every day that passes the numbers of your enemies continue to increase by the hundreds, until that figure reaches into the thousands, and you are beginning to close in on that magic number now. When my old man was murdered I lived with rage for a very long time-but it was a very different era then and reason won out-his killer had to live with perpetual uncertainty, but he got to live. This is a very different world today. But the laws of consequence and responsibility are still in tact in this jungle that passes for life-in-Occupied-America today. Just thought you'd like to know that while the public has not yet decided to act, that day will not remain at bay forever. How long will it be before you need to look over your shoulder, or check you squad car before getting in, not once in awhile, but each and every time. How well do you know your 'friends' and how's your life these days, maybe a little more tension, a lot less patience because at some level you have to know we're watching. This is so because you have become unnatural, and with each passing day you grow more distant from the people that you brutalize so easily! By the way this Open Letter is also meant for those thugs that serve the god of TSA. They might not get your perks but too many of them are all too eager to attack the innocent instead of simply asking civil questions. Events like this are growing in their frequency, every hour of every day. (5) I came up the hard way and I carried a gun for a few years-so I'm not blind to what you're trying to do. Early on I lived in Paint Hotels among the drifters and the night-moths, but even then there were too many of your kind. I've had my share of pistol-whippings in the back of a patrol car, I survived the petty interrogations and the insults then-but I fought back with lawyers and with real cops to make it right. Today everything is different and the Bad Guys wear the uniform and are praised for what they do to us. You might want to think about it boys and girls, because no one leaves this life alive. One of the first things that basic training taught to every military draftee, back in the fifties, was that there is always someone bigger, someone stronger, someone meaner than you might think you really are. That was a major life-lesson, too bad you guys missed out on that. Your behavior towards the public is teaching them that "selling out is futile" and that anyone alone is always easy prey; maybe that's why you roam in packs? Soon the public may begin to emulate your tactics, and then where will you be when you find yourself outnumbered by an angry mob that no longer fears your uniform, but instead is energized because of what you do NOT stand for! You might want to think about these things, because they are not secret anymore: and millions of people have begun to watch your every move-so why not begin to do the right thing, while you can. kirwanstudios@sbcglobal.net 1) Deadly Silences - The Hurricane Andrew Coverup http://www.karenlyster.com/andrew.html 2) Blackwater Mercenaries Deploy in New Orleans http://www.truthout.org/docs_2005/091005A.shtml 3) Blackwater Private Mercenary Arm is in US Heartland, http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/40485 4) Dictatorship Archives http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/archives/cat_dictatorship.html 5) Baby held in locked room at airport dies http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080212/NEWS01/802120340/1190/NEWS01

ABC: Fired officer claims woman's 'fall' gave her black eyes, broken teeth http://rawstory.com/news/2008/ABC_Was_woman_victim_of_police_0219.htmlDavid Edwards and Muriel Kane Published: Tuesday February 19, 2008 After Angela Garbarino was arrested in Shreveport, Louisiana last November on suspicion of drunk driving, she wound up lying on the police station floor in a pool of her own blood with two black eyes, a broken nose, two broken teeth, and other cuts and bruises. Garbarino says that Officer Wiley Willis beat her up after turning off the police video camera. Willis's attorney insists that Garbarino slipped and fell when Willis tried to prevent her from leaving the room. However, Garbarino says that the extent of her injuries are proof that she was beaten. The police video obtained by ABC News shows Garbarino demanding the right to make a phone call. "I have the right to call somebody right now and I know that," she yells. Officer Willis instead begins handcuffing her. She wiggles away, he pulls her back sharply by her wrists, and she hits the wall and falls on the floor. Willis pushes her down into a chair three successive times as she repeatedly stands up again, increasingly distraught and screaming, "Get away from me!" Willis is finally shown leaning over her and asking, "Do you understand me?" to which she replies, "Yeah, I understand." Willis then walks over and turns off the camera. When the video resumes, Garbarino is lying in the floor in a pool of her own blood. There is an apparent cut in what ABC aired, but according to KTBS in Shreveport, Willis turns Garbarino on her back, telling her, "Lay down, don’t move," and she replies, "I can't believe you just did what you just did. I really can't." Willis has since been dismissed from the police force. KTBS states that "Willis was fired by Police Chief Henry Whitehorn earlier this month for how he treated Garbarino during the whole episode, not for her injuries." Willis is appealing his dismissal, and his attorney insists that his client was following procedures in turning off the camera. According to KTBS, "Authorities familiar with Shreveport police policy said a person is read their rights and gets an explanation of what's going to happen next. That is followed by a sobriety test. If the person refuses, the officer can turn off the tape and take them to an adjoining room, handcuff them to a bench, fill out the paperwork and charge them." However, experts suggested to ABC that Willis should have called for female backup when Garbarino began resisting. One criminologist stated, "I think we have a situation where the arrested person is refusing to cooperate and the police officer apparently overreacted." This video is from ABC's Good Morning America, broadcast February 19, 2008. http://www.rawprint.com/media/2008/0802/abc_gma_woman_police_blood_080219a.flv

So the woman got her injuries because she fell.... Right.... So I guess if these same cops came to a couples house and the woman is laying on the floor in a pool of blood with two black eyes and cuts on her face the husband can use the same excuse?

I can't watch videos like that, not anymore. Because it will make me eat my keyboard and pull my hair out. I can't react properly to the things shown in the video, which would be to just go berserk with this pig. Till he is GONE. My God, what is this? I can't articulate what i would do to this pig. Forget about sueing, this is calling for another kind of justice! What would you do if this were your wife, sister, etc....? This drives me crazy, how in Gods name is this possible?! AAAARRARARARARARAAHG, i can't take it anymore. I never wanted to think like that, but from now on...only a dead cop is a good cop. f**k the police! How can we get in touch with this piece of shit. Is there an e-mail, a phone-number or something? We don't need the departments number or email, all we need is this pigs personal info. Let's get personal here! Call him up, and let him know what a piece of human waste he is! AAAAAAAHHH.

Before and After Pics from http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/ This is a good quote from Mike Rivero: From "To Protect And To Serve" to "We Treat You Like a King!" My own comments. What has law enforcement become these days? Have men lost their honour? Sense of duty, integrity and basic decency. She has already been handcuffed. Even if she did commit a DUI crime, Assault or Battery is A WORST CRIME, especially when the person is defenseless. She could easily have been raped. The fact the camera was turned off speaks volumes. What has happened to America? It looks more and more , that the men in uniform cannot be trusted. Be it military or law enforcement "officials". Public servants have and are becoming a public travesty to all that America once stood for. We must do all we can to stem this tide.

Thanks for posting the visual aid to see how low we have gone. Yes. I agree totally. We MUST get the word out. This is not just one case. I am sure that many UNDOCUMENTED cases such as this is happening regularly, probably all over the United States. Who cares right? If the President can lie about WMDs in Iraq, kill a couple of million, I can get mine here because I have the POWER. That what cops like this are probably thinking. He (the crooked Cop) is trying to show who is the Boss, his ego is out of control and he violently berates and attacks someone who is ALREADY handcuffed with the CAMERA on. Imagine when there is no Camera? What is really happening with the Police "Officials" in the USA? What are they really doing? Enforcing the Law , or peddling drugs on behalf of Al-CIAda? We may have more Criminals in Uniform - both military and civilian than ever before. General BetrayUS - I'm sorry, Petraeus, must be pleased. I am sure BlackWater or Dynacorp would be looking for cops like this to send to Iraq. There are no cameras there and he would valuable against the War on Freedom - oops I meant Terror. Alex is absolutely right on his Police State Videos. He could probably make Police State 4. We will probably have Patriot ACT 666 coming soon. God help us if Mcain-Hillary-Obama and their crowd take office this election year.

The on/off switch should be key activated and the key issued to only a few high-ranking officers with desk jobs who never actually meet a suspect.

All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately

Yes. It seems he has been "fired". But with the way things work in D.C, he probably will get called up for duty by BlackWater, DynCorp or by any number of the Military Industrial Al-CIAda corporations. His unique skill sets is in HIGH DEMAND. In places like Iraq, Afghanistan or maybe even at one of those FEMA concentration camps in downtown USA. Its the new AmeriKA and he is the poster child. This is part of the Pursuit of Happiness. Theirs at our Liberty's expense. God help them. Because We are NOT going to take it anymore.

It just keeps getting worse! This pisses me off! Where are the families of these people? How do they not go after justice for what was done? I'll never understand how the families of police abuse, especially females don't get real justice for it. Until police realize that badge doesn't make them superhuman and not above real justice, things will continue and even get worse.

A good Lawyer will have an easy time of this. I'm sure several of them in Shreveport have already risked breaking their own noses chasing that ambulance!

What is really sad, is that the odds of this officer ever being convicted of criminal charges in this incident are slim. I have been on the other side for 8 years and I know all too well how things work. He was fired and it will all be swept under the rug.
As for those calling out for violence against police officers, I hope you are saying that out of blind rage or just sheer lack of understanding. If you truly consider this is a valid way to solve our problems then I question your motives. Consider this, if you act out with violence towards an officer then you have played right into their hands. You have given them a reason to escalate force to a deadly level. They WANT you to fight back. Do you understand? They want to portray themselves as the victim instead of the assailant. So please stop telling people to act out with violence, it will only bring us closer to martial law.
People need to continue to video tape these incidents, put them out there for the entire world to see, and peacefully protest these departments until criminal charges are sought. Force the departments hand in a non violent way. Police officers are trained to deal with violence. What really hurts them is attention. Police aren't "trained" to deal with negative and wide spread attention. We should not fight them in their own back yard, but instead bring the fight to our back yard (where we have the advantage).

I see the Desensitizing the Authorities to torture is proceeding as planned. I wounder when we will have groups of fluoride junkies paying to see this S**t. I think as a Society we are really starting to FAIL. You can't legislate decency or compassion, it has to come naturally. Its high time someone gets us back on the right track. Well at least they didn't strip her this time (must have been a memo about not striping a woman before you beat her, and turning the camera off).
