Against Me! - Stop! (Video)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fGmfl9ZJxo

Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
You’ve got to make a serious decision.

It could be me up there in stage lights.
It could be me on the TV in you living room.
It could be me jet setting with my band all across the world.
Appearing live in concert one night only, tickets sold out.

Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s importatnt to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
You’ve got to make a serious decision.

There I am giving candid disclosure to press in interview.
There I go on my way through the crowd up to the podium.
On behalf of our fans we’d like to accept this award.
Smile for the camera boys, gold record in hand.

Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
You’ve got to make a serious decision.

All of our lives in waiting.
All of our lives traded for their roses and applause.
All of our lives dedicated to shoving it right back in theiry f**king face.

Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
Stop! Take some time to think, figure out what’s important to you.
You’ve got to make a serious decision.
You’ve got to make a serious decision.

Coldplay has one brand new deep message song and video, haunting yet beautifully done:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyMhvkC3A84&feature=player_embedded

Lyrics for the modern day child:

I TURN THE MUSIC UP, I GOT MY RECORDS ON
I SHUT THE WORLD OUTSIDE UNTIL THE LIGHTS COME ON
MAYBE THE STREETS ALIGHT, MAYBE THE TREES ARE GONE
I FEEL MY HEART START BEATING TO MY FAVOURITE SONG

AND ALL THE KIDS THEY DANCE, ALL THE KIDS ALL NIGHT
UNTIL MONDAY MORNING FEELS ANOTHER LIFE
I TURN THE MUSIC UP
I'M ON A ROLL THIS TIME
AND HEAVEN IS IN SIGHT

I TURN THE MUSIC UP, I GOT MY RECORDS ON
FROM UNDERNEATH THE RUBBLE SING A REBEL SONG
DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER GENERATION DROP
I'D RATHER BE A COMMA THAN A FULL STOP

MAYBE I'M IN THE BLACK, MAYBE I'M ON MY KNEES
MAYBE I'M IN THE GAP BETWEEN THE TWO TRAPEZES
BUT MY HEART IS BEATING AND MY PULSES START
CATHEDRALS IN MY HEART

AND WE SAW OH THIS LIGHT I SWEAR YOU, EMERGE BLINKING INTO
TO TELL ME IT'S ALRIGHT
AS WE SOAR WALLS, EVERY SIREN IS A SYMPHONY

AND EVERY TEAR'S A WATERFALL
IS A WATERFALL
OH
IS A WATERFALL
OH OH OH
IS A IS A WATERFALL
EVERY TEAR
IS A WATERFALL
OH OH OH

SO YOU CAN HURT, HURT ME BAD
BUT STILL I'LL RAISE THE FLAG

OH
IT WAS A WA WA WA WA WA-ATERFALL
A WA WA WA WA WA-ATERFALL

EVERY TEAR
EVERY TEAR
EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL

EVERY TEAR
EVERY TEAR
EVERY TEARDROP IS A WATERFALL

Great song & video by ColdPlay !

Not only that, the video and lyrics are about, 9/11, Stonehenge as a site of perceived resistance to hegemonic socio-cultural forces. The opening of the video shows a 9/11 scene with rising sun which acts like the summer solstice window at Stonehenge.

http://ipnagogicosentire.files.wordpress.com/2011/06/stonehenge6.jpg

The scene turns into an xray of the skylne, "writing on the wall" with implied blooming mushroom cloud, next scene duplicates the black rain wall in Hiroshima.

http://www.japanfocus.org/data/8605_17.jpg

Lyrics of 2nd stanza first verse: "Until Monday morning feels another life" is about August 6 1945 the day "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima, which was a Monday.

Lyric line "Maybe I'm in the black, maybe I'm on my knees" is about the black shadows of people left after the bomb blast:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gX5CJPJPRP8/TadtI9XL7UI/AAAAAAAABMs/bQMj4cMvEkc/s1600/hiroshima-shadow-2.png

http://www.pickchur.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/hiroshima_child.jpg

Singer Chris Martin's first appearance in the video is shot with him up against a pillar that has been blacked around the edges as the Hiroshima black shadows.

There is a nuke symbol that flies in the video and all sorts of drawing references to eyes and pyramids.

Of course the lyrics state:

"FROM UNDERNEATH THE RUBBLE SING A REBEL SONG
DON'T WANT TO SEE ANOTHER GENERATION DROP
I'D RATHER BE A COMMA THAN A FULL STOP"

Bass player has the letters "UFO" written upside down on his guitar.

August 6 1945 is the number 33

Hiroshima, Japan right next to the 33rd degree latitude line.

Ordered dropped by the 33rd President:

THE MOTELS - TOTAL CONTROL LIVE VERSION

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLBZjdrKSpY

Looking counter clockwise
Knowing what could happen
Any moment maybe you maybe even you

Steadfast collapse
Always certain any moment
Maybe you maybe you
Maybe even you
Recline complete dream too sweet
I can't do it not with you
Not even with you
Maybe never with you

And I'd sell my soul for
Total control
Yeah I'd sell my soul for
Total control

Street wet tonight, lovers touch
It's pure delight
Always certain any moment
Maybe even you
Stay in bed stained sheets
My head hurts I repeat
Maybe you maybe you maybe even you

And I'd sell my soul for
Total control
Yeah I'd sell my soul for
Total control
Ooh I'd sell my soul for
Total control over you
Over you
Total control over you

Big hit.

Here is a hit from the same era that can fall under a similar category if even from the name of the band.

Missing Persons

Destination Unknown

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WDly1Oc_P4

Life is so strange when you don't know
How can you tell where you're going to
You can't be sure of any situation
Something could change and then you won't know

You ask yourself
Where do we go from here
It seems so all too near
Just as far beyond as I can see
I still don't know what this all means to me

So you tell yourself
I have nowhere to go
I don't know what to do
And I don't even know the time of day
I guess it doesn't matter any way

Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
Something could change
It's unkown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown

You ask yourself
When will my time come
Has it all been said and done
I know I'll leave when it's my time to go
'Til then I'll carry on with what I know

Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
Something could change
It's unkown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown

Another song from a well known group Tears For Fears, is Sowing the Seeds. In the lyrics the writers directly take a stab at politicians and global government. Their circa 1989 music video is even more revealing:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndYqlnewfz4

High time we made a stand & shook up the views of the common man
And the love train rides from coast to coast
DJ's the man we love the most
Could you be, could you be squeaky clean
And smash any hope of democracy
As the headline says you're free to choose
There's egg on your face and mud on your shoes
One of these days they're gonna call in the ruse, yeah

(Sowing the seeds of love) anything is possible
(Seeds of love) when you're sowing the seeds of love
(Sowing the seeds of love)
(Sowing the seeds of love) anything is possible
(Seeds of love) sowing the seeds of love (Sowing the seeds)

I spy tears in their eyes
They look to the skies for some kind of divine intervention
Food goes to waste, so nice to eat, so nice to taste
Politician Granny with your high ideals
Have you no idea how the majority feels
So without love and a promised land
We're fools to the rules of a government plan
Kick out the style, bring back the jam

(Sowing the seeds of love) anything (seeds of love)
(Sowing the seeds of love) (Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love)
Sowing the seeds, the birds and the bees, my girlfriend and me in love

Feel the pain, talk about it, if you're a worried man then shout about it
Open hearts, feel about it, open minds, think about it
Everyone read about it, everyone scream about it
Everyone (everyone, yeah yeah)
Everyone (everyone) read about it, read about it
Read it in the books in the crannies
And the nooks there are books to read...Chorus!!!

(Sowing the seeds of love) Oh, the seeds of love
We're sowing the seeds, sowing the seeds

We're sowing the seeds of love. we're sowing the seeds
Sowing the seeds of love, we're sowing the seeds of love
(Mr. England sowing the seeds of love)

(Time to eat all your words, swallow your pride, open your eyes)
Time to eat all your words, swallow your pride, open your eyes
High time we made a stand (time to eat all your words)
And shook up the views of the common man (swallow your pride)
And the love train rides from coast to coast (open your eyes)
Every minute of every hour "I Love a Sunflower" (open your eyes)
And I believe in love power (open your eyes)
Love power, love (open your eyes) power

(Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love…Sowing the seeds of love)
(Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love)
We're sowing the seeds (sowing the seeds of love)
Sowing the seeds of love, we're sowing the seeds (seeds of love)
Sowing the seeds, an end to need, and the politics of greed with love
(Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love)
(Sowing the seeds of love) anything (seeds of love) anything
(Sowing the seeds of love, Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love)
(Sowing the seeds, an end to need, and the politics of greed with love)
(Sowing the seeds of love, seeds of love, sowing the seeds of love)

Deltron 3030 is like a rap opera in the future...a very orwellian future.  (Similar to RZA/Bobby Digital)

I have recently discovered Deltron 3030.  I heard Virus for the first time tonight, and went looking for this thread.  Gotta second the call for Virus as bumper music.

Crush your corporations with a mild touch
Trash your whole computer system and revert you to papyrus

Cause they don't wanna unify us...

Talk Talk - TODAY - 1982

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ez_BfAAw-10

Cover me with shades of disbelief
Can happiness be someone's else's brief
Numbers, colours, spell my name
Move about as values change
Catch me if you can
But don't delay

Today, today
It's a dream away

Governed by the title on the wall
Commit me to a life within a fool
Happiness can often bleed
Beggars lay among the sheep
Let me take the choice
The sermon pleads

Today today
It's a dream away

Visions in my cell begin to breed
Was everything a fact of what I'd read
Excuse me while I spell my name
Boat and ship could sound the same
Catch me if you can
But don't delay

Today today
It's a dream away

Belle Malissima

Today today
It's a dream away

Absolute Muscle Music for The Mind! Not soft at all; really hardcore truth music with no annoying beats to takeaway from the lyrics. If anybody enjoys production this is a great track to add some powerful background music for.

I love the line towards the end of this freestyle;
"Government ties is really why the government lies."

First and foremost

Vinnie Paz - End Of Days

and if you haven't heard it yet... really ... WATCH IT Smiley

and then

Killah Priest - I Am (Prod. DJ Whool)

and lastly .. for now..

Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks) & Ill Bill - Children Of God

all excellent songs....

Quote from: Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks) & Ill Bill - Children Of God
[Verse 1: Ill Bill]

Never doubt your god, children singing songs about jihad
Explosions that blow cars over buildings from afar
We the children of a bloodstained revolution
Gun bang, forever shoot and run fam, get your Uzi love thing
Retribution Timberland boots, leather gooses
In the undisclosed black bulletproof with the extra shooter
Bought a box of banana clips from these anarchists
Like Tim Osman commanding the ship on dialysis
More pain more gain, 9/11 was a war game
More enemies, more friends, more fame
Listen to propaganda c**k the hammer
We can stop a man but how do you destroy an army that’s a phantom?
How do you kill a militia that’s invisible?

Mystical, peep what official pistols do, kid we invincible
How do you stop the unstoppable, unkillable?
The salvation of God, now sit back and listen to the song y’all

[Verse 2: Vinnie Paz]

I heard children sing Allahu Akhbar in Turkey
One had a Russian AK, dirty Iverson jersey
I don’t know if it made me proud or if it disturbed me
I guess it’s not as bad as kids being f**ked by the clergy
Kufi on, Glock cocked moving through the palace
A dead Kennedy in California Über Alles
I’ll drink a quart of virgin blood inside a Buddha chalice
I took the head off a Kennedy from the roof in Dallas
Yeah I wish that Ron Paul ran again
If not then I’mma have to take the lead like Jeff Hanneman

(Seasons in the abyss) y’all falling for the trap again
.38 leave your f**king body like a mannequin
Yeah if Billy blast at you I blast with him
We don’t live in a republic, it’s just fascism
The Louvre isn’t a museum, it’s a glass prison

f**k a class system, listen to the song y’all

Iced Earth - Dystopia

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuwW9IVwZ0U

Enter the nightmare, this future does implore,
Hijack your city state, a prison nothing more.
Rounded up like cattle, you're forced in to the trains,
Nothing that you've ever known will bring you so much pain.

If you try to resist me you'll find me inhumane,
But if you just submit you'll live your life a slave.
Your love, your servitude will medicate your pain,
With our technology, we'll always keep you safe.
Microchipped by darts, their thoughts are not their own,
All that's left of human kind is now in their control.
Planned out through centuries, patient and contrived,
Pray on man's naivety, gullible and blind.

If you try to resist me you'll find me inhumane,
But if you just submit you'll live your life a slave.
Your love, your servitude will medicate your pain,
With our technology, we'll always keep you safe.
[Chorus]

The nightmare unfolds before my eyes
I will resist 'til the end of time
A spirit born free has to break these chains
We're lost, we must find our way.
We must find our way.
We'll find our way.

They say that you're a danger to everything that's pure,
There are too many of you, they're offering the cure.
Swift extermination if you refuse the game,
Arrested development, your vaccinated fate.
If you try to resist me you'll find me inhumane,
But if you just submit you'll live your life a slave.
Your love, your servitude will medicate your pain,
With our technology, we'll always keep you safe.

[Chorus] x2
The nightmare unfolds before my eyes,
I will resist 'til the end of time.
A spirit born free has to break these chains,
We're lost, we must find our way.

We must find our way,
We'll find our way.

"Resist" - by Rush

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkIryrQZmEA

I can learn to resist
Anything but temptation
I can learn to co-exist
With anything but pain

I can learn to compromise
Anything but my desires
I can learn to get along
With all the things I can't explain

I can learn to resist
Anything but frustration
I can learn to persist
With anything but aiming low

I can learn to close my eyes
To anything but injustice
I can learn to get along
With all the things I don't know

You can surrender
Without a prayer
But never really pray
Pray without surrender

You can fight
Fight without ever winning
But never ever win
Win without a fight

"The Enemy Within" - by Rush

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6-ViPrEeFk

Things crawl in the darkness
That imagination spins
Needles at your nerve ends
Crawl like spiders on your skin

Pounding in your temples
And a surge of adrenaline
Every muscle tense to fence the enemy within

[Chorus:]
I'm not giving in to security under pressure
I'm not missing out on the promise of adventure
I'm not giving up on implausible dreams
Experience to extremes
Experience to extremes...

Suspicious looking stranger
Flashes you a dangerous grin
Shadows across your window...
Was it only trees in the wind?

Every breath a static charge,
A tongue that tastes like tin
Steely-eyed outside to hide the enemy within

To you, is it movement or is it action?
Is it contact or just reaction?
And you...revolution or just resistance?
Is it living, or just existence?
Yeah, you! It takes a little more persistence
To get up and go the distance

"The Big Money" - by Rush

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u05zGjL9WY8

Big money goes around the world
Big money underground
Big money got a mighty voice
Big money make no sound
Big money pull a million strings
Big money hold the prize
Big money weave a mighty web
Big money draw the flies

Sometimes pushing people around
Sometimes pulling out the rug
Sometimes pushing all the buttons
Sometimes pulling out the plug
It's the power and the glory
It's a war in paradise
It's a Cinderella story
On a tumble of the dice

Big money goes around the world
Big money take a cruise
Big money leave a mighty wake
Big money leave a bruise
Big money make a million dreams
Big money spin big deals
Big money make a mighty head
Big money spin big wheels

Sometimes building ivory towers
Sometimes knocking castles down
Sometimes building you a stairway
Lock you underground
It's that old time religion
It's the kingdom they would rule
It's the fool on television
Getting paid to play the fool

Big money goes around the world
Big money give and take
Big money done a power of good
Big money make mistakes
Big money got a heavy hand
Big money take control
Big money got a mean streak
Big money got no soul...

The Prisoner Song - The Aggrolites

http://grooveshark.com/s/Prisoner+Song/2Fdyh9?src=5

CHORUS
All the prisoners say
I gotta get on out now,
Of this dreadful world
All the prisoners say
I gotta get on out now,
Of this side of the wall

It's been lonely lonely lonely
I got two more days 'till freedom (yes I do now)
The freedom wasn't free
They had the big man watching over me
I've paid my dues
Do I wanna come back?
I ain't got the strength to carry round this ball and chain no more
'Cus I gotta get back on track
'Cus I say want my own life back
When I walk the two way line
I know I'm gunna see them prisoners crying out

CHORUS

When I come out,
I know this time I wont come back no more
'Cus I heard all about that revolving door
I got to do the best I can
To break myself away from that evil man I once was
I know I need that fixin'
I got to step out of the mix that feeds me
Hesitation will be strong
I know I got to just move along without it

I gotta stop
- think about what I'm doing now
Stop
- too many years wasted
Stop
- 'cus I can't come back to this

CHORUS

The prisoner's say
I ain't got no more time for this kind of lifestyle
I gotta get away right now
I need a little help lord
Just get me over this hump now
'Cus I gotta get away now
I just need a little more strength now

Bruce Springsteen Death to my Hometown

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gebaNputijc

From his new album "Wrecking Ball"

http://brucespringsteen.net/

Death To My Hometown Lyrics by Bruce Springsteen
http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/brucespringsteen/deathtomyhometown.html

No cannonballs did fly
No rifles cut us down
No bombs fell from the sky
No blood soaked the ground
No powder flash blinded the eye
No deafening thunder sounded
But just as sure as the hand of god
They brought death to my hometown
They brought death to my hometown

No shells ripped the evening sky
No cities burning down
No armies stormed the shores for which we’d die
No dictators were crowned
High off on a quiet night
I never heard a sound
The marauders raided in the dark and brought death to my hometown, boys
Death to my hometown

They destroyed our families’ factories and they took our homes
They left our bodies on the plains
The vultures picked our bones

So listen up, my Sonny boy
Be ready for when they come
For they’ll be returning sure as the rising sun

Now get yourself a song to sing and sing it ’til you’re done
Yeah, sing it hard and sing it well
Send the robber baron’s straight to hell
The greedy thieves that came around
And ate the flesh of everything they’ve found
Whose crimes have gone unpunished now
Walk the streets as free men now

And they brought death to our hometown, boys
Death to our hometown, boys
Death to our hometown, boys
Death to our hometown

Ry Cooder - Vigilante Man (live) 1973  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RN_uX1Og_Gg

Have you seen that vigilante man?

Have you seen that vigilante man?

I've been hearin' his name all over the land.

Rainy nights down in the engine house.

Sleepin' just as still as a mouse.

Man come along chased us out in the rain.

Was that a vigilante man?

Preacher Casey was just workin' man.

And he said unite all you workin' man!

Killed him the river, some strange man.

Was that the vigilante man?

Tell me why does a vigilante man?

Tell me why does a vigilante man?

Carry that sawed-off shot-gun in his hand?

Would he shoot his brother and sister down?

Have you seen that vigilante man?

Have you seen that vigilante man?

I've been hearin' his name all over the land.

JUDAS PRIEST- "Some Heads Are Gonna Roll"- Live '86 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1EnufbzFb0

( Defenders of the Faith, Song number 3 from SIDE B; From the LP Album; THE METALIAN )

Rising from darkness where hell hath no mercy and the screams of vengeance echo on forever, only those keep the faith shall escape the wrath of the metallian...

SOME HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!

Well, you can look to the left and look to the right,
but you will live in danger tonight.
When the enemy comes, He will never be heard,
He'll blow your mind and not say a word.

Blinding Lights - Flashing Colors

Sleepless Nights,

If the man with the Power,
Can't keep it under Control

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

The Power Mad Freaks who are Ruling the Earth,
will show (just) How little they think you are Worth.

With Animal Lust they'll Devour your Life and
Slice Your World like to Bits like a Knife.

One last Day!

Burning  Hell -Fire!

You're Blown Away!

If the man with the Power,
Can't keep it under Control

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Know What It's Like,
To Be taken for Granted.

There goes your Life
It's so underhanded

If the man with the Power
Can't keep it under Control

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Some Heads are Gonna Roll!
Some Heads are Gonna Roll!

Golden Earring-Twilight Zone (Extended Version)

http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2a54s_golden-earring-twilight-zone-x_music

Spoken
Somewhere in a lonely hotel room
there’s a guy starting to realize
That eternal fate has turned it's back on him
It's two a.m.

Verse
It's two a.m. the fear has gone
I'm sitting here waitin' the gun still warm
Maybe my connection is tired of taken chances
Yeah there's a storm on the loose sirens in my head
I'm wrapped up in silence all circuits are dead
I cannot decode
my whole life spins into a frenzy

Chorus
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone

Verse
I'm falling down a spiral
destination unknown
A double crossed Messenger
all alone
I can't get no connection
I can't get through
Where are you
Well the night weighs heavy on his guilty mind
This far from the borderline
And when the hitman comes
He knows damn well he has been cheated
And he says

Chorus
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
the place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
When the bullet hits the bone

(Musical interlude)

Chorus
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Help I'm steppin' into the twilight zone
The place is a madhouse
Feels like being blown
My beacon's been moved under moon and star
Where am I to go
Now that I've gone too far
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone

When the bullet hits the bone uh-huha
When the bullet hits the bone
When the bullet hits the bone uh-huha
When the bullet hits the bone
When the bullet hits the bone uh-huha
When the bullet hits the bone
When the bullet hits the bone uh-huha
When the bullet hits the bone

(Music then song ends)

Golden Earring - The Devil Made Me Do It

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq5SjPt60DA

All set, court’s in session
This judge’s got no compassion
Witness, show me your right hand
I swear, nothing but the truth now

I was allright till she came along
I was allright, then it all went wrong

The devil made me do it, oh, oh, oh ,oh
It was an act of a man possessed
The devil made me do it
Your honor, I’m innocent

D.A’s, got a mighty strong case
Lawman, saw the whole thing
Confess, yeah I stole that fur coat
Confess, yeah I stole a BMW
Confess, I was only trying
to keep my baby satisfied
Bullshit, that’s the truth now
Bullshit, so help me God

I was allright till she came along
I was allright, then it all went wrong

The devil made me do it, oh, oh, oh ,oh
It was an act of a man possessed
The devil made me do it
Your honor, I’m innocent...innocent

You should have seen her slide out of her neglige
Het skin was hot touch intoxicating
and if you were me
you would have done the same
So spare me the gutter
Save me from the ball and chain

The devil made me do it, oh, oh, oh ,oh
It was an act of a man possessed
The devil made me do it
Your honor, I’m innocent
The devil made me do it, oh, oh, oh ,oh
It was an act of self defence
The devil made me do it
Your honor, it was an accident

10cc - Clockwork Creep

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipm2wm5Exik

"I'm a clockwork creep
And I can't get to sleep
They wind me up and let me go
And I can't unwind
Going out of my mind
My time is coming soon you know"

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

"I'm a jumbo jet
With a brand new set
Of passengers and bags and crew
I'll spread my wings -
Do a thousand things
To prove how good I am to you"

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

Meanwhile in the cargo of escargot
The temperature is rising
Advertising that our time is running
Down, down, down, down, down
Oh with just one minute to live
Oh, no you'll never get me up in one of these again
Cause what goes up must come
Down, down, down, down, down
Down, down, down, down, down

Oh, the gravity of the situation
It's only my willpower
That keeps this thing in operation
But we're gonna crash that's for certain
The pilot is too busy flirtin'
And he ain't aware
That there's a bomb down there
And if he don't do something it's curtains

"Now just hold on,"
Said the little bomb,
"If you were just to hold my hands
Then time would stop
The plot would flop
And jumbo would be safe to land"

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

My landings are the envy
Of Sabena and Pan Am
From Chattanooga to Japan
I taxi through the airways
What a swell little plane
What a fine little plane
What a great little plane
I am

Hang on one sec
I'm a clockwork wreck
And though my fuse is burning slow
Must keep my date to detonate
Goodbye, ta ta, and cheerio

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb
Tick a tick a time bomb

Perhaps the sexiest piece of music ever composed...

Vangelis - Blade Runner Love Theme

Sorry to all you Blade Runner fans out there, but I'm afraid the following was voted unanimously by the International Society of Women as the sexiest, most romantic song ever written:

Lene Lovich - The Fall

http://www.myspace.com/music/player?sid=42087506&ac=now

Rumours arrived as they sat at the feast
Of the army that comes from the east
Burning each village and town
The temple bell sounds the alarm

Invasion x 3

Look out it's happening right now
Knock on the door in the night now

Fires on the hillside surrounding the town
Fires and night coming down like a blanket
And fear at the gate
And there¹s nothing to do, but wait

Danger x 3

Look out it's happening right now
Knock on the door in the night now

Blood on the paving stones, blood on the walls
As the city of wisdom falls
Conquering squadrons march in
With banners the colour of sin

Darkness x 3

Look out it's happening right now
Knock on the door in the night now

Some old men grab all the books that are in sight
Then escape into the night
Carrying their truth far away
You can see them still running today

Freedom x 3

Look out it's happening right now
Knock on the door in the night now
