DNC Chairwoman Evades Questions About Obama

Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz on Wednesday refused to associate Democratic Senate candidates with President Barack Obama's policies.

The issue has become a hot potato for Democrats in the closing weeks of the midterm elections as they try to keep Senate seats in several red states where Obama is unpopular and, with those seats, control of the chamber.

On MSNBC's “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough repeatedly asked Wasserman Schultz if votes for Democrats would be votes for the continuation of Obama's policies. Wasserman Schultz, a representative from South Florida, became the latest in a long line of Democrats to point out that Obama is not up for election this year.

“Barack Obama was on the ballot in 2012 and 2008,” Wasserman Schultz said.

Quote
Pressed further, she did not refute that Democratic candidates align with Obama's policies, but also refused to affirm it.

The candidate knows if the words "I voted for Obama" passed her lips, it would be converted into an instant negative ad against her in the campaign---a very effective negative ad, in fact. Now that's toxic.

Calibration error’ changes GOP votes to Dem in Illinois county

Published October 22, 2014·

CHICAGO — Early voting in Illinois got off to a rocky start Monday, as votes being cast for Republican candidates were transformed into votes for Democrats.

Republican state representative candidate Jim Moynihan went to vote Monday at the Schaumburg Public Library.

“I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” Moynihan said. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat.”

Fox News Host Thinks Young Women
Shouldn't Vote or Serve on Juries

October 23, 2014

Fox News anchors have turned their attention to the impact of the female vote in the upcoming elections. In July, "O'Reilly Factor" correspondent Jesse Watters referred to them on-air as “the Beyoncé voters, the single ladies,” and predicted they would be an election-decider this fall.

“Obama won the single ladies by 76 percent last time, and they made up about a quarter of the electorate. You know, they depend on government because they’re not depending on their husbands. They need things like contraception, health care, and they love to talk about equal pay,” he said. These statements have been debunked by The Atlantic, and have since spawned a strong social media response in reaction to his claims.

On Tuesday's broadcast of Fox News’ “The Five” co-host Kimberly Guilfoyle discouraged young women from participating in elections and serving on juries. “Young women on juries are not a good idea,” she said. “They don’t get it! They’re not in the same, like, life experience of paying the bills, doing the mortgage, kids, community, crime, education, health care.”

Quote
… young women are “healthy and hot and running around without a care in the world,” they don’t understand the issues at hand. Her suggested solution? “Excuse them, so they can go back on Tinder and Match.com.”

… Democrats trot out the old, CIA Warhorse,
GLORIA STEINEM to rally the Feminazi troops
as the fabled day draws nigh:

Dems Trot Out Gloria Steinem as Election Nears

12:06 PM, OCT 24, 2014 • BY DANIEL HALPERSingle

"The outcome of this election will be determined by one factor," Steinem writes to email recipients of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, "Women."

Steinem continues:

And that scares the Republicans half to death… but not enough to make them actually change their anti-women policies. They still refuse to pass Equal Pay laws. And they’re still perfectly comfortable denying women their basic human right to make decisions about their own bodies.

Instead they’re relying on tired, sexist tropes to appeal to us. Women will only vote if voting is like dating, getting married, or breaking up. At least that’s what Republicans seem to think.

This election is our chance to show them that their relentless sexism will not stand -- in fact, it will cost them their seats in Congress.

That's why I’m emailing you today. I need you to step up right now and make sure that Republicans who rely on sexism will lose on November 4th.

Gloria Steinem is relying on tired, feminist tropes to appeal to us. The same tropes that are responsible for the destruction of natural family units around the world. She thinks that all women are entitled to positions of power simply because they were born with a vag. Personal traits, ethics, and merit be damned.

This election is our chance to show them that their relentless divide and conquer tactics to segregate men and women in a nation that’s already falling apart at the seams will not stand -- in fact, it will cost them their seats in Congress if they agree with Gloria Steinem, regardless of major party affiliation.
The number one cause of all human poverty, misery, and death is not global warming. It’s GLOBAL LYING.

Jaw-Dropping Study Claims Large Numbers of Non-Citizens Vote in U.S.
By Jim Geraghty
October 24, 2014 5:45 PM

This study’s claim is pretty eye-opening…

Our data comes from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study (CCES). Its large number of observations (32,800 in 2008 and 55,400 in 2010) provide sufficient samples of the non-immigrant sub-population, with 339 non-citizen respondents in 2008 and 489 in 2010. For the 2008 CCES, we also attempted to match respondents to voter files so that we could verify whether they actually voted.

How many non-citizens participate in U.S. elections? More than 14 percent of non-citizens in both the 2008 and 2010 samples indicated that they were registered to vote. Furthermore, some of these non-citizens voted. Our best guess, based upon extrapolations from the portion of the sample with a verified vote, is that 6.4 percent of non-citizens voted in 2008 and 2.2 percent of non-citizens voted in 2010.

(Note that they keep using the term, “non-citizen,” without specifying whether they mean immigrants who have entered the country illegally or immigrants who are in the process of legally becoming citizens — lawful permanent residents, a.k.a. “green card” holders, or both. It’s a crime either way, but it’s easier to imagine a lawful permanent resident mistakenly thinking they have already earned the right to vote.)

If they mean 6.4 percent of 11 million illegal immigrants… we’re talking about roughly 700,000 votes being cast by non-citizens in 2008. Stunning. If true, it refutes my earlier contention that proven cases of voter fraud would only swing elections in races that come down to a few hundred votes.

But this section is fascinating:

We also find that one of the favorite policies advocated by conservatives to prevent voter fraud appears strikingly ineffective. Nearly three quarters of the non-citizens who indicated they were asked to provide photo identification at the polls claimed to have subsequently voted.

African Americans are waking up, and we are happy to see it! They are tired of being played as stupid by Obama, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the gang of black leaders who work for white thugs and deceive their people. There is no excuse for deceiving your own, black or white, DC!

ALL AMERICANS who are awake are colorless. When you are all being screwed, color means nothing. Americans stand with Americans, PERIOD, when their government betrays them!

This sea change is making the globalists and their minions shake in their boots, and those boots are going to be shaking even more as more people wake up to the lies!

Vulnerable Senate Democrats Almost Always Voted With Obama
http://atr.rollcall.com/senate-votes-2014-cq-senate-democrats-obama/

Quote
Here are where the Democrats and Republicans on the October edition of Roll Call’s 10 Most Vulnerable Senators of 2014 rank in terms of their roll call voting support for Obama’s agenda:

Democrats

Mark Udall of Colorado: 99 percent

Kay Hagan of North Carolina: 99 percent

Jeff Merkley of Oregon: 99 percent

Al Franken of Minnesota: 99 percent

Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire: 98 percent

Mark Begich of Alaska: 98 percent

Mark Pryor of Arkansas: 97 percent

Mary L. Landrieu of Louisiana: 96 percent

Republicans

Mitch McConnell of Kentucky: 60 percent

Pat Roberts of Kansas: 49 percent

Since these politicians can't think for themselves, and appear to be lackeys, they should all be replaced! FIRE THEM!

America needs thinking politicians who don't bow to a president or their party leaders! Get rid of the followers and replace with real leaders who have some integrity and use their brain!

Illegal Voters May Decide Fate of Senate
By Phyllis Schlafly 28 Oct 2014

Control of the U.S. Senate is up for grabs on November 4, and illegal voters may tip the balance. Estimates are that more than 14 percent of non-citizens were registered to vote in the elections of 2008 and 2010, and that could now easily exceed the margin of victory in many tight Senate races.

Democrats typically win more than 80 percent of the votes cast by non-citizens, so votes cast by non-citizens produce a net bonanza of additional votes for Democrats. Democrat Al Franken won a Republican U.S. Senate seat in Minnesota by a margin of only 312 votes in 2008, and with the immense power of incumbency he is expected to cruise to reelection this time.
...
The top priority of Obama's Department of Justice has been to oppose voter ID laws passed by various states. But Attorney General Eric Holder has announced his resignation, and the Senate should not confirm any successor who opposes state efforts to improve voter integrity.

… NYT calls out the race baiting
Demo-PAX advertising down South:

http://www.nytimes.com/2014/10/30/us/politics/from-democrats-election-focus-on-racial-scars.html?emc=edit_th_20141030&nl=todaysheadlines&nlid=67995475

In Democratic Election Ads in South, a Focus on Racial Scars

By JEREMY W. PETERSOCT. 29, 2014

In the final days before the election, Democrats in the closest Senate races across the South are turning to racially charged messages — invoking Trayvon Martin’s death, the unrest in Ferguson, Mo., and Jim Crow-era segregation — to jolt African-Americans into voting and stop a Republican takeover in Washington.

The images and words they are using are striking for how overtly they play on fears of intimidation and repression. And their source is surprising. The effort is being led by national Democrats and their state party organizations — not, in most instances, by the shadowy and often untraceable political action committees that typically employ such provocative messages.

In North Carolina, the “super PAC” started by Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader, ran an ad on black radio that accused the Republican candidate, Thom Tillis, of leading an effort to pass the kind of gun law that “caused the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.”

In Georgia, Democrats are circulating a flier warning that voting is the only way “to prevent another Ferguson.” It shows two black children holding cardboard signs that say “Don’t shoot.

The messages are coursing through the campaigns like a riptide, powerful and under the surface, largely avoiding television and out of view of white voters. That has led Republicans to accuse Democrats of turning to race-baiting in a desperate bid to win at the polls next Tuesday.

“They have been playing on this nerve in the black community that if you even so much as look at a Republican, churches will start to burn, your civil rights will be taken away and young black men like Trayvon Martin will die,” said Michael Steele, a former chairman of the Republican Party. “The reality of it is, the Democrats realize that their most loyal constituency is not as loyal as they once were.”

Quote
at a black church in Fayetteville, leaflets with a grainy image of a lynching have appeared, warning voters that if Ms. Hagan loses, President Obama will be impeached.http://www.wncn.com/story/26838336/nc-campaign-flier-has-background-lynching-photo

Quote
Another invokes Ferguson. “If you want to prevent another Ferguson in their future,” the leaflet says over a picture of two young black children, “vote. It’s up to you to make change happen.”

For many African-Americans, feelings of persecution — from voter ID laws, aggressive police forces and a host of other social problems — are hard to overstate. And they see no hyperbole in the attacks.

“It’s not race-baiting; it’s actually happening,” said Jaymes Powell Jr., an official in the North Carolina Democratic Party’s African-American Caucus. “I can’t catch a fish unless there’s a worm on the hook.”

Massive Non-Citizen Voting Uncovered in Maryland
October 29, 2014 - 11:45 pm

An election integrity watchdog group is suing the state of Maryland, alleging that it has discovered massive and ongoing fraudulent voting by non-U.S. citizens in one county. But because of the way that the non-citizens are able to cast votes in elections, the fraud is likely happening in every single county and subdivision across the state. The group believes that the illegal voting has been happening for years.

The group, Virginia Voters Alliance, says that it compared how voters in Frederick County filled out jury duty statements compared with their voting records. The group’s investigation found that thousands of people in Frederick County who stated that they are not U.S. citizens on jury duty forms went on to cast votes in elections. Either they failed to tell the truth when they were summoned for jury duty, or they cast illegal votes. Both are crimes. The same group previously found that about 40,000 people are registered to vote in both Virginia and Maryland.

It is a federal crime to cast votes if you are not legally eligible to vote. Non-citizens, whether in the country legally or not, are prohibited from voting in most local and all state and federal elections. Yet the VVA investigation found that hundreds of non-citizens have been voting in Frederick County, Maryland. One in seven Maryland residents are non-U.S. citizens.

“The lawsuit is the equivalent of the lookout spotting the iceberg ahead of the Titanic,” state Del. Pat McDonough told the Tatler. He added that the group’s investigation found a voter fraud “smoking gun.”

International Migrants Day
18 December

On 4 December 2000, the UN General Assembly, taking into account the large and increasing number of migrants in the world, proclaimed 18 December as International Migrants Day. On 18 December 1990, the General Assembly had adopted the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

UN Member States and intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations are invited to observe International Migrants Day through the dissemination of information on the human rights and fundamental freedoms of migrants, and through the sharing of experiences and the design of actions to ensure their protection.

International migration has been a central element in enriching many cultures and civilisations throughout human history, supporting the process of global economic growth and contributing to the evolution of states and societies. In the contemporary world it is a key issue in global integration and international relations due to its rapidly increasing economic, social and cultural impact in both the origin and destination countries.

http://www.undp.hr/upload/file/222/111022/FILENAME/HDR_2009_EN_Complete.pdf
...

Taking down barriers

Overcoming barriers lays out a core package of reforms, six 'pillars' that call for:

• Opening existing entry channels for more workers, especially those with low skills;
• Ensuring basic human rights for migrants, from basic services, like education and health care, to the right to vote;
• Lowering the transaction costs of migration;
• Finding collaborative solutions that benefit both destination communities and migrants;
• Easing internal migration; and
• Adding migration as a component for origin countries' development strategies.

In terms of international migration, the Report does not advocate wholesale liberalization, since people at destination places have a right to shape their societies; but it argues that there is a strong case for increased access for sectors with a high demand for labour, including for the low-skilled. This is particularly important for developed countries because their populations are ageing—and this may increase the demand for migrant workers.

I wanted to reply to this specific picture. It's such an absolute lie and so many believe it and it frustrates me. I'm not sure if it's the personality I have or what. I can't lie to myself. Never have been able to do that. Call me absolutely depressing if you want. I'm just not the type to put on a Pollyanna smile, say everything is wonderful even while everything is falling part. It seems like such a waste. I just believe in the truth. If everything were fine (really), I wouldn't be the type of person running around screaming the sky is about to fall. I want something better for everybody. There has to be more to this life than what is presented out on the table for everybody. There has to be more than feeling like an animal trapped in a cage, running in one spot and thinking you're going to different places, trying your damndest to keep from falling over the cliff as your hands get sweatier with each passing second, car jam packed in mud and you're spinning your wheels sinking even deeper.

Everyday the world turns even more upside down and a person can feel very lost and feel like this is a world they don't really even belong in anymore. And I know you all know what I'm talking about when I say this. I don't really even expect any smart *ss answers saying something like "how I must think I'm better and smarter than everybody else/things change and you better get used to it, life must be nice for the special little snowflakes in this world, things could be worse so there's that, etc*"

Maybe some people blame themselves. "I see on the news things are getting better and my life certainly hasn't gotten any better. Maybe I'm the one to blame? Maybe I'm the one screwing up?" But that certainly can't describe everybody. Is it that hard to admit "You're lying and I know it". How will things right themselves if the majority are too busy thinking: "yeah, we'll solve this at election time. meantime I'll just sit and watch tv, text during the commercials and stuff myself with Kool-Aid and Cheetos."

*And so many are so used to and defend all of the things I listed. The mud is nice and cool so that's good. The cage is big so we have a little space to run around in. We'll just put posters up so it looks awesome.

…. what we need about now is
for some FOOL-PROOF evidence
of Barry Obola's birthplace to arrive:

End of the Age of Obama

NEWSCOM

The end of the Age of Obama. It began with high hopes on a winter’s night in Iowa in 2008 and ended in disappointment on a crisp fall day nearly seven years later.

Sure, the president has another two years in office, but he is now the lamest of lame ducks. He is soon to face a House majority that is one of the most Republican since the 1920s, and a Senate, we hope, about to be taken over by a Republican majority. But more than this, he seems to have no friends, and few allies, on Capitol Hill.

One fact of politics that the president never fully grasped is that Congress, not the White House, is the center of our political system. Sure, the president lives in a fancy house, enjoys a full-time chef, and has “Hail to the Chief” played when he enters a room. But Congress is—as Stanford’s Morris Fiorina once put it—“the keystone of the Washington establishment.” The Framers gave pride of place to Congress, making it Article I of the Constitution, and were so worried about its potential power they divided it into two. Ideally, the modern president can use his prestige and acumen to lead Congress, but Obama has fallen far from that ideal. He has treated Congress in a supercilious manner, burned his bridges with Republican leaders, and alienated even Democrats.

With nobody to call on Capitol Hill, the president will have lots of free time over the next two years. He might use some of it to ponder this truth: There are no permanent majorities in American politics. For over a decade, Democrats have been salivating at the prospect of demographic changes propelling them to permanent majority status. Obama in particular has been active on this front, and has ruthlessly divided the country along race, gender, and class lines in the hope of speeding this process along. But he has overlooked two historical realities.

Quote
We would suggest a careful study of the words and deeds of the Founding generation. There is much to learn from Madison’s complex philosophy, Alexander Hamilton’s innovative economic program, George Washington’s careful and steady management, and Thomas Jefferson’s pragmatic policy of conciliation. Let’s hope our next president grasps that you have to respect our past to lead us effectively into the future.

… GOOD RANT FROM RUSHBO!

Democrats in Freefall

October 30, 2014

RUSH: The New York Times has a story today about the absolute state of disarray the Regime is.  And they even describe -- are you ready for this?  The New York Times quotes somebody describing the Secretary of State John Kerry as spinning and floating out of control like Sandra Bullock did in that astronaut character she played in the movie Gravity.

They really portray Kerry as not knowing what's going on and just floating, wandering aimlessly from issue to issue in a genuine clueless state.  The story is about how Obama may have to replace some of the people in the Regime because they're so incompetent.

The AP today: "Dems Rush to Save Suddenly Vulnerable Incumbents -- Desperate Democrats are rushing to save suddenly vulnerable House incumbents, even in states where President Barack Obama cruised to double-digit victories, amid fresh signs of Republican momentum less than a week before the midterm elections.

Suddenly?  Suddenly vulnerable?  There's been no reason for any recent shifts in the polling.  No, the Democrats and their media minions are now just having to admit to reality, see, because what they've done, basically, they've lied to us for so many months to boost fundraising and early voting.  And now all of a sudden it looks like some Democrats are vulnerable, when in truth they've been vulnerable for the past two years.  But to the media, oh, no, it's sudden.

The Democrats suddenly have to worry about the three most liberal states in the union: New York, California, and Hawaii.  And all of whom, by the way, just happen to have implemented various levels of quarantines on returning Ebola workers.  But, regardless, "The once friendly terrain of New York, California, Obama's native state of Hawaii and adopted state of Illinois all now pose stiff challenges to Democrats who are determined to limit their losses next Tuesday."

Pastor Chuck Baldwin provides a counter warning about not trusting the Republicans, especially when they gain power in Congress:

Quote
...The GOP leadership has not allowed itself to be held accountable to ANYBODY. They wouldn’t let Ross Perot do it; they wouldn’t let Pat Buchanan do it; they wouldn’t let Ron Paul do it; and they aren’t letting the Tea Party Republicans do it. They think themselves above their own platform, above their conservative base, and even above the U.S. Constitution. Accordingly, they have been subtracting numbers from their own ranks for a long, long time. Where do you think the Libertarian and Constitution parties came from? Where do you think so many of the registered independent voters came from?

In any given national election the numbers of people who stay home and don’t vote always outnumber the ones who do vote. Why is that? It’s because both the Democrat and Republican parties have been ignoring so much of their grassroots base that people from both parties have been drifting away by the millions. People by the millions have given up on both major parties. Neither party in Washington, D.C., respects the people of the United States or the U.S. Constitution. Both parties grovel before Big Money. That’s why so many people have removed themselves from the two major parties...

Interesting.(yahoo)

Voters this year care about jobs, pay, taxes and the economy. Candidates are talking about abortion, birth control, immigration and same-sex marriage. Somebody seems to be missing the point.

The challenge in midterm elections, of course, if just getting people to show up to vote, so Congressional candidates in battleground states such as Georgia, Kansas, Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina and Colorado are making an emotional appeal on social issues most likely to get voters fired up.

“Social issues are a key determiner of party identification,” says Geoffrey Skelley of Sabato's Crystal Ball, a political forecasting site. “Among the bases of the two parties, those kinds of issues can be fundamental.”

The Nevada Democrat said if Braley wins in Iowa, Democrats will do “just fine.” And if they lose? Say hello to Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Reid said in a conference call Saturday with the Progressive Change Campaign Committee.

DEMOCRATS SEND 'CREEPY MAILER' BEFORE
HALLOWEEN: WE'LL KNOW IF YOU DIDN'T VOTE!

by DR. SUSAN BERRY  31 Oct 2014

Both the New York State and Connecticut Democratic Committees are threatening people into voting on Tuesday by sending bullying letters that claim they can easily determine which potential voters failed to cast ballots.

The New York Post confirms tweets sent out by New York voters with photos of the threatening letters.
“Who you vote for is your secret,” the letter reads. “But whether or not you vote is public record.”
“We will be reviewing voting records… to determine whether you joined your neighbors who voted in 2014,” it continues. “If you do not vote this year, we will be interested to hear why not.”

Quote
“I’m outraged,” said one Manhattan voter who said she complained to a Democrat leader. “Whether I vote or not is none of your business!”

This voter said she received a “report card” of her voting record, observing that she had not voted in two of the last four elections.

The bullying letters, said the Post, were sent out to one million registered Democrats who had failed to vote in prior midterm elections.

The New York State Democratic Committee, chaired by former Gov. David Paterson, defended the threatening letters and referred to them as standard practice throughout the country.

Just about everything I have read has indicated that the DIMicrats will lose the Senate.

If they don't, let us remember this quote....

"
From Kansas to Kentucky, North Carolina to Alaska, Tea Party supporters who saw their endorsed candidates lose to establishment Republicans in U.S. Senate primaries are holding their noses as they prepare to put endangered Republican candidates over the top with their votes in closely fought U.S. Senate races.

Tea Party activists who vote on Tuesday will overwhelmingly support Republican candidates, but it is still unclear if their turnout levels will be high, moderate, or low.
