They have done this recently in my area when storms come through.  The storms never USED to knock out entire swaths of power in our state, but now it's a different story.  Now in general it's just about profits and selling us on the idea that we need to go "green".  Oh and btw, only a complete and utter MORON connects a nation's infrastructure to the smeggy INTERNET!  Nobody's buying that excuse either any more.  How inept do they think we are to think that they would do such a thing?  Here's a clue idiots: The internet is NOT secure!  Don't hook any critical nation infrastructure to it!  It's not good for national security!  Dur!   

They better try to cut off the power completely soon, because if we can finish working on a device that will let people have little "power plants" in their homes, we won't need their stinking mains power!  What will they do then?  $100 for a unit that outputs 110-120 volts, up to 7 amps?  hehehe  How you like them apples you greedy, pus-laden pukes?

I'm going to enjoy that day.

I think I'm going to look into solar power and try to get the house completely off the grid. Next they'll be shutting off the taps and we'll have to go buy all our water from the state, so I think I'll look into property with a well since the real estate industry is gonna hit bottom and property will be dirt cheap. Grow my own food. What am I missing? I feel like I'm missing something.
