Citizenship means nothing.  This is one horrible story and video you must see.

This started a discussion earlier on the forum.

( I personally cried ) The mental anguish from humiliation alone can destroy some ones confidence in the people who are supposed to help and protect us.

When I worked in the prison system as a deputy sheriff our rules were very strait forward as to when, where and how a strip search could be conducted.  Drunks in the tank were rarely ever strip searched and people in for reckless driving or other traffic offenses were rarely stripped either.  All strip searches were same sex with pretty much NO exceptions.  And if you had an exception it better be a damn good one or you could find yourself out of a job or worse.  Usually the only people that got stripped were people in for drug offenses or people loaded down with weapons.  Take the clothes off, turn around, open your mouth, put your arms out, squat over the mirror so that we can see your crack vaults.  Whole process took about 5 minutes from clothes off to clothes on.  We would always try to engage them in conversation and joke around with them a little to make the process less intrusive.  Anal and vaginal searches were only conducted by medical personel and usually done at the hospital only if we suspected something.  Think about it this way.  They didn't want to take their clothes off and we didn't want to see what they had to show us.  I don't remember anyone ever coming in and going psycho when searched or fingerprinted nore did I ever hear any stories from the old timers of such events.

If that was my wife, those cops would be in trouble.

It seems those with the authority to put people in jail need to be in jail themselves!!! I am struggling to keep this site clean and not use the words I am thinking to describe these crimminals!!!

Is this how it works now? When you call the police for help, you're taken into custody, strip searched and charged with multiple misdemeanors?

I would submit, Your Honor, that if someone is doing something demonstrably asinine, and I ask them to stop it, please, and they say, "Make us," they've entered a binding oral contract whereby I am permitted, even obligated, to try to make them.
