Yes it is, let this health care bubble pop and use
a blow torch on it!   one can not afford to get sick,
have a surgery, or land in the emergency room on this
crappy forced illegal so called health care these days.

Don't forget the large insurance companies force health care
providers, including pharmacies into  "contractual agreements"
and those providers have to write down their charges for services,
procedures and medicines or the big insurance companies won't
accept them into their "network of providers" .

It's putting the squeeze on almost everyone.

One must be very pro-active with their health these days to
stay out of the Dr. office .

Obama, Democratic Leaders to Plan
Last Ditch Effort to Save Obamacare

BEN KEW. 30 Dec 2016

Barack Obama is set to meet with top Democrats next week to discuss plans to block the incoming Trump administration’s plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, POLITICO has revealed.

The meeting, which will involve both House and Senate Democrats, is scheduled for 9:30 am on Wednesday on Capitol Hill and is expected to last one hour:o

Quote
In light of Trump’s plans, various Democrat leaders, including Bernie Sanders and Nancy Pelosi, have called for a “day of action”.

“Rallies will be held across the country to vigorously oppose the Republican plan to end Medicare as we know it and throw our health care system into chaos,” a letter signed by a number of Democratic Party leaders states.

Transgender Reassignment Surgery
Under Obamacare Blocked Nationwide

LANA SHADWICK. 1 Jan 2017
(For Reference) http://forum.prisonplanet.com/index.php?topic=248202.msg1595603#msg1595603

The Texas Attorney General won a nationwide preliminary injunction to block a new Obamacare mandate requiring taxpayers to fund transgender reassignment surgeries and abortions. The new rule which defines “sex” as a state of mind was scheduled to take effect January 1, 2017.

On Saturday, a federal district court judge granted Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s request to stop the Obama administration’s new federal health rules that would force the Employees Retirement System of Texas to amend its insurance coverage to provide for gender reassignment and abortion. There are 500,000 employees that participate in the coverage.

In July, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services implemented a new rule that defined the term “sex” in the Affordable Care Act (“Obamacare”) to include a state of mind, not a biological fact.

A statement released by the Texas Attorney General on Sunday says that “The Obama administration is attempting to redefine the law so that the term ‘sex’ means one’s ‘internal sense of gender which may be male, female, neither, or a combination of male and female,’ even though the president lacks the authority to rewrite the law.” When Congress enacted the law for Obamacare, it used the term “sex” as a biological category.

Quote
The move to define sex in this manner is consistent with the Obama Administration’s “gender fluidity” mandate, as reported by Breitbart Texas, that school and school districts must allow students to use bathroom and shower facilities consistent with the gender that they identify with on a particular day.

Kellyanne Conway: Anybody Already Covered Under Obamacare
Will Still Be Covered Under Replacement

Breitbart
January 3, 2017

During Tuesday’s “Morning Joe” on MSNBC, Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said that nobody currently covered under Obamacare will become uninsured under the new administration’s replacement.

Host Joe Scarborough asked, “If Americans have health care today under the Affordable Care Act, will they have health care — it sounds like Donald Trump is saying they will have health care under whatever replaces it?”

“That is correct, we don’t want anyone who currently has insurance to not have insurance,” Conway responded. “Also we are very aware that the public likes coverage for preexisting conditions. There are some pieces of merit in the current plan.”

ACA Repeal Process Begins In Congress
Timothy Jost
January 3, 2017

On January 3, 2017, Senator Mike Enzi, Chair of the Senate Budget Committee, introduced a concurrent budget resolution in the Senate to begin the process of repealing the Affordable Care Act. The resolution provides budget “reconciliation” instructions to the Senate Finance and Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions committees and the House Committees on Energy and Commerce and Ways and Means to submit their recommendations to the budget committees of the respective houses of Congress by January 27, 2017 for changes in the laws within their jurisdiction to reduce the deficit by no less than $1 billion for the years 2017 through 2026. This provision does not specifically refer to repeal of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), but that is clearly its goal.

Congress to move fast on ACA repeal: 8 things to know

Written by Kelly Gooch and Emily Rappleye |   January 04, 2017 |  Print | Email
...

Here are eight things to know.

1. The Senate made its first move toward repealing the ACA Tuesday, introducing budget resolution legislation for fiscal 2017, according to WSJ. This legislation lays out what WSJ dubbed "an aggressive timeline" for repealing the ACA.

2. Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., plans to start the debate on the budget resolution Wednesday, according to WSJ. The legislation requires a vote to be taken up by the Senate, followed by debate, amendment votes and finally a full vote on the Senate floor. It requires only a simple majority vote to pass.

3. If the budget resolution passes, two committees in the Senate and two in the House would be required to draft legislation by Jan. 27 that will include provisions aimed at repealing unpopular parts of the ACA, WSJ reports. This legislation is called a reconciliation bill and also needs a simple majority vote to pass, according to the report.

4. Parameters regarding the law's replacement are yet to be specified, according to The New York Times. The House plans to put a package of rules into play to facilitate the revocation of the health law and to continue its legal challenge to spending on insurance subsidies under the ACA, the report states.

5. Next week, according to a presumptive timetable drafted by Rep. Greg Walden, R-Ore., the House will vote on a budget blueprint, which is expected to call for the repeal of the ACA, reports The New York Times.

6. Rep. Walden, incoming chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, said after Mr. Trump takes office, the panel will act on legislation to carry out what is in the budget blueprint, according to The New York Times. That bill would help clear the way for repealing major provisions of the ACA, including Medicaid expansion, according to the report.

7. Meanwhile, President Barack Obama plans to visit a meeting of House and Senate Democrats Wednesday to rally support for the ACA, reports The New York Times.

8. If Congress votes to repeal the ACA early this year, Republican leaders said, they may delay the effective date for several years, to avoid disrupting coverage for people who have recently gained health coverage under the law's provisions, according to both reports.

For more on this story, read Robert Pear's full report in The New York Times and Siobhan Hughes' report in The Wall Street Journal.

Obama tells Democrats: 'Don't rescue' Republicans on 'Trumpcare'
By MJ Lee, Kevin Liptak and Manu Raju, CNN

Washington (CNN) — President Barack Obama delivered a mandate to Democrats on Wednesday: "Don't rescue" Republicans on Obamacare.

Less than three weeks out from leaving the White House, Obama visited Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill with a mission to save his signature healthcare reform law as Republicans are moving quickly to unroll the Affordable Care Act.

In the closed-door meeting, the President urged fellow Democrats to not "rescue" Republicans by helping them pass replacement measures, according to sources in the room

The Parliamentary Trick That Could Obliterate Obamacare

By ROBERT PEAR
JAN. 4, 2017
nytimes.com
WASHINGTON — Republicans hope to repeal major parts of the Affordable Care Act using an expedited procedure known as budget reconciliation.

The process is sometimes called arcane, but it has been used often in the past 35 years to write some of the nation’s most important laws. “Reconciliation is probably the most potent budget enforcement tool available to Congress for a large portion of the budget,” the Congressional Research Service, a nonpartisan arm of Congress, has said.

Here is a primer.

Q. What is the budget reconciliation process?

A. It is a way for Congress to speed action on legislation that changes taxes or spending, especially spending for entitlement programs like Medicare and Medicaid. Although conceived primarily as a way to reduce federal budget deficits, it has also been used to cut taxes and to create programs that increase spending — changes that can raise deficits.

In the Senate, a reconciliation bill can ordinarily be passed with a simple majority. For other bills, a 60-vote majority is often needed to limit debate and move to a final vote.

Q. Why is it called reconciliation?

A. The term originated in the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974, which was intended to give Congress more control over the budget process by allowing lawmakers to set overall levels of spending and revenue.

The process begins with a budget blueprint, a resolution that guides Congress but is not presented to the president for a signature or veto. It recommends federal revenue, deficit, debt and spending levels in areas like defense, energy, education and health care.

The resolution may direct one or more committees to develop legislation to achieve specified budgetary results. By adopting these proposals, Congress can change existing laws so that actual revenue and spending are brought into line with — reconciled with — policies in the budget resolution.

Q. How has reconciliation been used?

A. Since 1980, Congress has completed action on 24 budget reconciliation bills. Twenty became law. Four were vetoed.

The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1981 was a vehicle for much of the “Reagan revolution.” It squeezed savings out of Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps, the school lunch program, farm subsidies, student loans, welfare and jobless benefits, among many other programs.

In 1996, Congress reversed six decades of social welfare policy, eliminating the individual entitlement to cash assistance for the nation’s poorest children and giving each state a lump sum of federal money with vast discretion over its use. Those changes were made in a reconciliation bill, pushed by Republicans but signed by President Bill Clinton.

Congress reduced deficits with another reconciliation bill, the Balanced Budget Act of 1997. That law also created the Children’s Health Insurance Program, primarily for uninsured children in low-income families. On the same day in 1997, Mr. Clinton signed a separate reconciliation bill that cut taxes.

The Bush tax cuts were adopted in reconciliation bills signed by President George W. Bush in 2001 and 2003.

On several occasions, Congress has increased assistance to low-income working families by increasing the earned-income tax credit in reconciliation bills.

Congress also made changes to the Affordable Care Act in a reconciliation bill passed immediately after President Obama signed the health care overhaul in 2010. Later, when Republicans controlled both houses of Congress, they passed a reconciliation bill to eviscerate the Affordable Care Act, but Mr. Obama vetoed the bill in January 2016.

Republicans say that measure will provide a template or starting point for their efforts to undo the health care law this year, with support from President-elect Donald J. Trump, who calls the law “an absolute disaster.”

Q. How does the reconciliation process work in the Senate?

A. In the House, leaders of the majority party can usually control what happens if their members stick together. In the Senate, by contrast, one member or a handful of senators can often derail the leaders’ plans. The reconciliation process enhances the power of the majority party and its leaders. Senate debate on a reconciliation bill is normally limited to 20 hours, so it cannot be filibustered on the Senate floor.

The Senate has a special rule to prevent abuse of the budget reconciliation process. The rule, named for former Senator Robert C. Byrd, Democrat of West Virginia, generally bars use of the procedure to consider legislation that has no effect on spending, taxes and deficits. The Senate parliamentarian normally decides whether particular provisions violate the Byrd rule, but the Senate can waive the rule with a 60-vote majority.

Q. What does this mean for the Affordable Care Act?

A. Republicans hope to use the fast-track procedure of budget reconciliation to repeal or nullify provisions of the law that affect spending and taxes. They could, for example, eliminate penalties imposed on people who go without insurance and on larger employers who do not offer coverage to employees.

They could use a reconciliation bill to eliminate tens of billions of dollars provided each year to states that have expanded eligibility for Medicaid. And they could use it to repeal subsidies for private health insurance coverage obtained through the public marketplaces known as exchanges.

Republicans could also repeal a number of taxes and fees imposed on certain high-income people and on health insurers and manufacturers of brand-name prescription drugs and medical devices: tax increases that help offset the cost of the insurance coverage expansions.

Those provisions were all rolled back in the reconciliation bill Mr. Obama vetoed last January. That bill did not touch insurance market standards established in the Affordable Care Act, which do not directly cost the government money or raise taxes. The standards stipulate, for example, that insurers cannot deny coverage or charge higher premiums because of a person’s pre-existing conditions. Insurers must allow parents to keep children on their policies until the age of 26, and they cannot charge women higher rates than men, as they often did in the past.

Such provisions are politically popular, but it is not clear how they could remain in force without the coverage expansions that help insurers afford such regulations. Without an effective requirement for people to carry insurance, and without subsidies, supporters of the health law say many healthy people would go without coverage, knowing they could obtain it if they became ill and needed it.

Democrats say they will fight to preserve the law after Mr. Obama leaves office. Recent history shows that lobbying and public pressure can sometimes make a difference, altering the votes of individual lawmakers and changing the contents of a reconciliation bill.

Obamacare takes first real step closer
to repeal after Senate vote

Erin Kelly - Jan. 11, 2017

WASHINGTON — After debating seven hours through the night, the Senate voted early Thursday to take the first real step toward repealing Obamacare — a top goal of congressional Republicans and President-elect Donald Trump.

Senators voted 51-48 to approve a budget resolution that Republicans will use as a vehicle to speed through repeal of the Affordable Care Act, better known as Obamacare. House leaders plan to take it up Friday.

Senators began voting on 19 amendments to the resolution about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday before passing the budget measure about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Trump issues executive order to start rolling back Obamacare

Updated 11:33 PM ET, Fri January 20, 2017
By MJ Lee and Tami Luhby, CNN

Washington (CNN)Within hours of taking the oath of office, President Donald Trump on Friday night signed an executive order aimed at trying to fulfill one of his most impassioned campaign promises: Rolling back Obamacare.

The multi-part executive order stated that the administration's official policy is "to seek the prompt repeal" of the Affordable Care Act -- but at the same time emphasized that it must continue to uphold the law.
...

It directs the secretary of health and human services, as well as other agencies, to interpret regulations as loosely as allowed to minimize the financial burden on individuals, insurers, health care providers and others.

It stressed that agencies can "waive, defer, grant exemptions from or delay implementation of any provision or requirement" of Obamacare that imposes a burden "to the maximum extent permitted by law."

Trump Tells Congress to Repeal and Replace Health Care Law ‘Very Quickly’
By MAGGIE HABERMAN and ROBERT PEARJAN. 10, 2017

President-elect Donald J. Trump demanded on Tuesday that Congress immediately repeal the Affordable Care Act and pass another health law quickly. His remarks put Republicans in the nearly impossible position of having only weeks to replace a health law that took nearly two years to pass.

We have to get to business,” Mr. Trump told The New York Times in a telephone interview. “Obamacare has been a catastrophic event.”

Mr. Trump appeared to be unclear both about the timing of already scheduled votes in Congress and about the difficulty of his demand — a repeal vote “probably some time next week” and a replacement “very quickly or simultaneously, very shortly thereafter.”

But he was clear on one point: Plans by congressional Republicans to repeal the health law now, then take years to create and implement a replacement law are unacceptable to the incoming president.

Paul: Trump Is 'Open-Minded' on Negotiating ObamaCare Replacement

Will 'Denounce-and-Preserve' Beat 'Repeal-and-Replace'?

Rolling back Obamacare will require full Republican support in the Senate. Rand Paul—and others—could defect using a familiar political play.
...

Paul faces a more agonizing dilemma than almost any other Republican senator. A libertarian ideologue and Tea Party stalwart, Paul has spoken vociferously about the imperative of repeal for years.

Joshua Roberts / Reuters
David Frum   | Mar 6, 2017
...

Very understandably, the version of Obamacare repeal that Senator Paul introduced in January 2017 leaves Medicaid untouched. But, of course, Paul has no such assurance about the version of reform being incubated by the House Republicans under Speaker Paul Ryan. Which may explain why Paul has emerged as the most outspoken Republican critic of Ryan’s health-care approach.

According to Paul himself, his resistance to the Ryan approach is driven by his own superior ideological purity. “I think it is Obamacare Lite.[/b]

I didn’t sign on to vote for a new government program,” Paul told Fox News last week. Yet Paul must appreciate the practical consequences of his super-purist objection. The Ryan repeal plan is simultaneously under fire in the Senate from lawmakers who fear it goes too far. Senators Susan Collins and Bill Cassidy have introduced a measure that would preserve the ACA in its present form for those states that wish to participate—presumably including Cassidy’s state of Louisiana, which has signed up for the ACA’s Medicaid expansion.* ACA repeal can only happen if it is supported by all Republicans, accommodationists and purists alike. The vote tally won’t care why a Republican defects from the Ryan bill—only that he or she does.

Paul’s demand—repeal the ACA and replace it at the same time, even the same day—is obviously unworkable, even aside from the need to rally sufficient votes in the Senate to overcome a Democratic filibuster. You have to imagine that he and other self-imagined purists appreciate that.

Rand Paul protests outside room where House Republicans are hammering out Obamacare replacement

The Kentucky senator, who has pledged to oppose any bill that does not fully do away with the ACA and its insurance subsidies, learned late Thursday morning that committee members were talking about the bill in H157, a room on the Capitol’s first floor.

“I have been told that the House Obamacare bill is under lock and key, in a secure location, and not available for me or the public to view,” he tweeted.

The return of Rand Paul
By W. James Antle III (@jimantle) • 3/7/17 12:01 AM

Sen. Rand Paul's days-long quest to find the House Republican bill to repeal and replace Obamacare was derided by GOP lawmakers as a "publicity stunt," but it might just put the Kentucky senator back in the mix when it comes to influencing Congress as it prepares to make a series of key policy decisions.
//..

Now, Paul is angling for a chance to shape the healthcare debate, the outcome of which will likely play a huge role in how Republicans are perceived in the 2018 mid-term elections.
...

But for Paul, it was a return to form, and a return to the tactics he's been able to employ so successfully from his Senate seat. The healthcare reform fight is an opening for Paul to get back into the spotlight and try to win headlines for his uncompromising brand of fiscal conservatism, and it's one the ophthalmologist and son of an obstetrician is seizing with vigor.

The bill, named the Obamacare Replacement Act, would eliminate several provisions of the ACA, including the individual mandate and minimums on coverage standards. The bill's fact sheet doesn't mention any provision to allow parents to keep a child on their insurance until they turn 26.

Interestingly, Paul's plan would provide a two-year window for people with preexisting conditions to sign up for care. It would then revert to pre-ACA rules in which people with preexisting conditions could still get coverage in the group market. It's unclear what would happen to people with preexisting conditions in the individual market after the two-year open-enrollment period.

Did Paul Ryan intentionally sabotage his own health care plan?
Scott Lemieux
...
Another, and perhaps more plausible, answer is that Ryan couldn't possibly be this inept. He didn't get his allies on board for a simple reason: He doesn't actually want any major repeal plan to pass.

This isn't to say that Ryan would not, all things being equal, like to kill the Affordable Care Act. His entire political career has been devoted to attacking programs for the poor to pay for upper-class tax cuts. But now passing and maintaining tax cuts and achieving other crucial objectives means Republicans must keep control of Congress — and that's where ACA repeal becomes a major political liability.

GOP Rep. Jim Jordan: Let's Vote On The Exact Same Obamacare Repeal We Sent To Obama
Posted By Ian Schwartz
On Date March 8, 2017

On Wednesday's Morning Joe, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said Congressional Republicans should introduce and vote on the "exact same" legislation that repeals Obamacare that was sent to President Obama when he held the presidency. Jordan called on his Republican brethren to "do what we told the voters we were going to do."

"Let's do this right and, more importantly, let's do what we told the voters we were going to do," Jordan said. "That’s why today I’ll be introducing legislation which just says clean repeal. Let's vote on the exact same thing -- 15 months ago, every single Republican in the House, every single Republican in the Senate voted on. We put it on President Obama’s desk."

Jordan, like GOP Senator Rand Paul, said the current 'repeal and replace' legislation being touted by Speaker Paul Ryan is "Obamacare in a different form" and keeps some of the taxes from the original bill.

Exclusive — Sarah Palin on Paul Ryan’s ‘RINO-Care’: ‘Socialized Medicine’; President Trump Will ‘Step In and Fix It’
by Matthew Boyle

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and the first major GOP figure to endorse President Donald Trump, is calling out House Speaker Paul Ryan for what she says is “RINO-Care.”

Ryan introduced what he calls the “American Health Care Act,” a bill that does not repeal Obamacare but only amends it. For the last several days, senior Republicans ranging from members of the House Freedom Caucus to other House Republicans to Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR), Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT), and more have raised serious concerns with the bill.

Some call it Obamacare 2.0, others call it Obamacare Lite or Ryan-care, and now Palin—in her first interview on the topic, coming on Breitbart News Saturday on SiriusXM 125 the Patriot Channel this weekend—calls it “RINO-Care.”

The point is that the Insurance companies can't always get THEIR WAY....
After decades of destroying the health of americans ,,,, you dont' get paid on both ends .,..

The globalist eugenicists should not be rewarded on both ends and need to be cut out of future legislation

... hanging by a thread ... our loving
government had better get a clue:

Obamacare Choices Could Go
From One to Zero in Some Areas

Margot Sanger-Katz - MARCH 31, 2017

Parts of the country are in jeopardy of not having an insurer offering Obamacare plans next year.

Many counties already have just one insurer offering health plans in the Obamacare marketplaces, and some of those solo insurers are showing signs that they are eyeing the exits.

Humana announced this year that they’d be leaving the markets altogether next year. That means there are parts of Tennessee that will have no insurance options unless another insurer decides to enter.

Quote
And Anthem, which operates in 14 states, is getting nervous, an industry analyst told Bloomberg News this week. Its departure would be a much bigger problem. According to an analysis of government data by Katherine Hempstead at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Anthem is currently the only insurance carrier in nearly 300 counties, serving about a quarter of a million people.

Insurers around the country are worried about the policy environment surrounding the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Trump has said that the health law “will explode” — a comment that may suggest he will do little to help the markets, or could even set the fuse.

Obviously the health care corps and health insurance corps OWN the congress .... like we didn't know that ...
Now they want to propose Romney/Ryan Care ... another flavor of EPIC FAIL ..
Meanwhile they rake in BILLIONS in extra premium dollars ... sucking the public dry ...
Which was the plan all along ...

Another example of brown nosing RINO's ...

Paul Ryan Under Fire as Health Care Is Delayed Again
by Ian Mason28 Apr 20171,675

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) leadership was called into question by new voices Thursday night as hopes expire of passing a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare before President Donald Trump’s first 100 days end on Saturday.

At a meeting on the Hill late Thursday night, the speaker and his House Republican leadership team decided to further delay the vote. With what appeared to be the acquiescence of conservatives in the Freedom Caucus and think-tanks like Club for Growth and FreedomWorks, who took much of the blame for the failure of the first attempt to pass the American Health Care Act (AHCA) in March, hopes were buoyed that passage was imminent. Instead, according to Politico, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told reporters as he left the meeting, “We are not voting on health care tomorrow. We’re still educating members.”

Syndicated radio host Laura Ingraham joined Fox News’s Hannity to vent her frustration with House Republicans. “This is another loss for Paul Ryan,” she told host Sean Hannity:

Paul Ryan was given this assignment to quarterback this legislation through the House. It wasn’t easy. It was going to be difficult. You have a lot of different factions, different people, different values, different personalities, but this is something you had to do. If you can’t get health care done, and done right, eight years after saying you were gonna do it … I don’t even know what to say about that. What does that say about your ability to lead at a critical time for our economy?

Ingraham then hinted she may be at the end of her patience with Speaker Ryan’s leadership. “I’m not gonna sugarcoat this. This is an embarrassment that this couldn’t get done,” she fumed. “You’ve got to get better communications. You have to know your caucus. Otherwise, just give it to someone who can do it. That’s all I can say”:

Sen. Rand Paul: Senate GOP Decides to Keep Obamacare
http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/07/12/exclusive-sen-rand-paul-senate-gop-decides-keep-obamacare/

Quote
Now too many Republicans are falling all over themselves to stuff hundreds of billions of taxpayers’ dollars into a bill that doesn’t repeal Obamacare and feeds Big Insurance a huge bailout.

Now, the Senate GOP plan being put forward is chock full of insurance bailout money – to the tune of nearly $200 billion. Republicans, present company excluded, now support the idea of lowering your insurance premium by giving a subsidy to the insurance company.

This citizenry won in four elections. Each time, the GOP establishment told conservatives, “We can’t repeal Obamacare until we have all three branches of government.” Finally, in 2016, that came to pass. Republicans now control all three branches of government.

And . . . the best that is offered is Obamacare-lite:
keeping the Obamacare subsidies, keeping some of the Obamacare taxes, creating a giant insurance bailout superfund, and keeping most of the Obamacare regulations.

Shame. Shame on many in the GOP for promising repeal and instead affirming, keeping, and, in some cases, expanding Obamacare. What a shame.

UNTIL THE BOUGHT OFF OBSTRUCTIONISTS ARE REMOVED FROM BOTH PARTIES, AND SOME CHARGED, NOTHING WILL CHANGE.

McConnell’s new ‘repeal and delay’ tactic could devastate health insurers

http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/nation-world/national/article161981718.html

Any Senator not voting for total repeal needs to be voted out of office. Repeal is what the informed public demands, and nothing short of that is acceptable.

Do your job, McConnell and Ryan, or leave Congress as a total failure. You have all three branches and there is no excuse for your continual failures.

... finally?

GROUNDHOG DAY:
WH Says NOW They Will Repeal Obamacare

ALEX PFEIFFER - 09/19/2017

Vice President Mike Pence is saying “this is the moment” that Obamacare will get repealed after previous failures.

The Graham-Cassidy bill, named for sponsors Sens. Lindsey Graham and Bill Cassidy, would repeal the Obamacare individual and employer mandates and the health care law’s subsidies and Medicaid expansion subsidies. The bill effectively replaces the funding mechanism of Obamacare with a system of block grants. It would also keep the law’s provision that allows people to stay on their parents’ insurance until 26 years old.

“This is the moment. Now is the time,” Pence said Tuesday aboard Air Force Two about the bill.

President Trump campaigned on repealing-and-replacing Obamacare as did Congressional Republicans. The GOP has so far failed to deliver on this promise with three previous efforts failing.

The last failed attempt was the so-called “skinny repeal,” which Republican Arizona Sen. John McCain killed with his “no” vote.

Republican Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson told MSNBC Tuesday that he is “cautiously optimistic” the bill will get the necessary support.
