Alex Jones addresses the Jesuit question.

New pope’s economic stance

Debunking Tom Woods’ “Catholic” Austrian economics

by Memehunter
The Daily Knell and Real Currencies
October 21, 2012

By all appearances, Thomas Woods Jr., a noted promoter of the “Catholic” strand of Austrian economics, is being groomed as the heir apparent to Lew Rockwell in the Libertarian propaganda network. Given Woods’ increasing role and visibility, his background and ideas deserve to be explored further, and the contradictions between the Catholic doctrine and Austrian economics need to be exposed.

As documented in The “Catholic” Arm of Libertarianism, the Jesuits’ involvement in the Libertarian-Communist false dialectic is nothing new, and has in fact been ongoing for several centuries. In fact, according to Mises Institute’s founder Lew Rockwell, the Spanish Jesuits of the University of Salamanca were the founders of modern “free-market” thinking. Not surprisingly, Jesuits are also behind several of the Austrian think-tanks and propaganda outlets that have sprouted all over America in the last century.

While the Jesuits’ involvement with education and intellectual life may be laudable in some respects, many readers will no doubt be aware that the Jesuits occupy a significant position in the globalist elite’s hierarchy, and that their ideologies and goals often differ substantially from those associated with the traditional Catholic doctrine. In fact, as I wrote in The “Catholic” Arm of Libertarianism, Jesuits are likely part of a long-term Illuminati plot to “infiltrate and subvert Catholicism from within”.

Clearly, Thomas Woods Jr. is being positioned to slowly take over Rockwell and continue this dubious tradition of “Catholic” Austrian economics. In fact, Woods has devoted a considerable part of his output to justifying the “free market” from a “Catholic” perspective (see for instance The Church and the Market: A Catholic Defense of the Free Economy).

However, there are apparently indissoluble differences between the Catholic and Austrian perspectives, and Woods, despite his scholarship and clever arguments, has not been able to avoid them entirely. In this article, we will first expose Woods’ connections to the Jesuit hierarchy as well as to other “controlled opposition” movements, before discussing some of the contradictions inherent in his intellectual positions.

Father James Sadowsky, SJ: the éminence grise behind Rothbard and Woods

The term "éminence grise" (grey eminence) was first used to describe a French monk who advised Cardinal Richelieu behind the scenes. The tradition continues today with Jesuit priests discreetly advising and guiding academics who are then charged of disseminating their ideas to an unsuspecting public.

One such grey eminence was Father James Sadowsky (1923-2012), who taught at Fordham University for 38 years. Sadowsky, a co-president of the International Philosophy Quarterly, was no run-of-the-mill Jesuit: while he was teaching in Beirut (prior to his appointment at Fordham), one of his students was Peter-Hans Kolvenbach who later became the General Superior of the Jesuits and, according to some alternative researchers, one of the most powerful men on the planet.

Sadowsky, described as an “anarcho-catholic priest”, was a close friend of Murray Rothbard from the early 1960s until Rothbard’s death. While we are told that Sadowsky and Rothbard mutually influenced each other and did not always agree on everything, it is reasonable to suspect that Sadowsky was behind many of Rothbard’s ideas, given what we know of the Jesuits’ modus operandi.

Sadowsky likely exerted a major influence on Woods as well: Woods cited Sadowsky’s writings several times in The Church and the Market and openly sought to acknowledge Sadowsky’s contribution to his book.

Besides the questionable Jesuit infiltration of the Catholic doctrine, it is important to document Woods’ and Rothbard’s connections with Sadowsky as this corroborates the evidence already presented on this blog and elsewhere regarding the Jesuits’ centuries-old campaign for the acceptance of usury in Catholic countries, as well as their unremitting role in fanning the flames of the Libertarian-Communist dialectic.

Dianne Feinstein b. 1933

The eldest of three daughters, she was born on June 22, 1933, to Dr. Leon Goldman, a surgeon and professor at the University of California, San Francisco, and Betty (Rosenburg) Goldman. Both of her parents came from Russian immigrant families. The Goldmans were proud of their heritage and could trace their family tree back for generations. Sam Goldman, Dianne’s paternal grandfather, helped to found several temples in California, while his son Leon became a prominent donor to San Francisco’s Mount Zion Synagogue. Dianne’s mother’s family, the Rosenburgs, had a more distant relationship with Judaism. Some of them belonged to the Russian Orthodox church.

While growing up, she was greatly influenced by her paternal uncle. Morris Goldman, in contrast to his Republican-minded brother Leon, was a populist who worked in the city’s garment district and who introduced Dianne to the idea of the working class. He took her to San Francisco’s City Hall to watch a meeting of the Board of Supervisors, sparking her interest in politics early on. By observing her father and her uncle, she learned to weigh both sides of an argument and to think about the complexities of an issue.

She attended a Jewish religious school, but later enrolled at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, a prestigious private Catholic high school, in accordance with her mother’s wishes. At that time she met California Attorney General Edmund (Pat) Brown, the father of a classmate. The teenaged Feinstein impressed Brown with her interest in political life. After Brown was elected governor of California, he sought out Dianne and gave her a job as an advocate for prison reform.

After graduating from Sacred Heart (the first Jew to do so), she entered Stanford University, where she excelled academically and became actively involved in politics.

She was vice president of her class and joined the Young Democrats. She graduated in 1955, and then worked as an intern in public affairs for the Coro Foundation.

In 1962, she married Bertram Feinstein, a distinguished neurosurgeon who was a colleague of her father and twenty years her senior. Their marriage, which lasted until Bertram’s death in 1978, gave Feinstein the freedom to pursue her political career. In 1980, she married Richard Blum, a successful investment banker who advises her and helps in her political campaigns.

Governor Brown appointed Feinstein a member of the California Women’s Board of Terms and Parole in 1960, where she gained her first experiences in criminal reform.

In 1968, she served on the San Francisco mayor’s committee on crime and committee on adult detention. A year later, she became the first woman president of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Her success and popularity in this capacity won her reelection for two additional terms.

Gov. Brown Pleased New Pope Is Jesuit
March 13, 2013 4:59 PM

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) — Gov. Jerry Brown, who trained as a Jesuit, said Wednesday that he is pleased to see a Jesuit elected pope.
...
“I’m glad he’s a Jesuit,” Brown told reporters during a question-and-answer session. “He is from Argentina, so that might give him a broader perspective to see the world through the Southern Hemisphere, but what the hell do I know? I thought Jesuits weren’t allowed to consider higher office. At least they weren’t in my day.”

As a young man, Brown spent two years studying to become a priest at a Jesuit seminary in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Novitiate of the Sacred Heart in Los Gatos. After serving as governor from 1975 to 1983, he also studied Zen Buddhism at a Japanese monastery and later briefly worked alongside Mother Teresa in India.

How California turned blue / Biography of ex-Gov. Pat Brown tracks the rise and reign of the state's Democrats

On America's color-coded electoral map, California is now painted a solid blue. The state overwhelmingly supported the Democratic candidates in the past four presidential elections. George W. Bush didn't even bother making a contest of the nation's largest electoral prize in 2004. Before the unprecedented Gray Davis recall, the statewide elected government was almost devoid of Republicans. But it was not always this way.

The Golden Bear State once voted strongly Republican -- so much so that for the entire first half of the 20th century, only one Democrat was elected governor, and he served for a single term. In the Republican electoral sweep in 1950, top-of-the-ticket Democratic luminaries like Jimmy Roosevelt, FDR's son, and Helen Gahagan Douglas suffered overwhelming defeats. A solitary Democrat -- the party's attorney general candidate -- managed to survive the Republican onslaught and win statewide office. Fortunately for the Democrats, it was the right man: the glad-handing, two-term San Francisco district attorney, Edmund "Pat" Brown.

If so, then when it comes to the Austrian- and Chicago School-dominated "Right" and the Marxist- and Keynesian-dominated "Left," it would seem Pope Francis is an equal opportunity offender:

Leftists Are Doing Everything They Can to Hurt Pope Francis

by Deal Hudson
LifeNews.com

It really didn’t matter who the cardinals elected as the new pope. The Left, and we know who they are, hate the Church. Regardless who walked out on the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica, there would be no honeymoon, hardly time for a hiccup, in fact, before the Left and its media goons started to bash him.

As Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League, recently chronicled, the barrage of lies, spin, and accusations has already begun.

When you hate the Church, when you wish for its destruction, or at least for its transformation into another vehicle for secularization, you will naturally do all you can to hurt Her leader.

The Left can’t really help it (I can’t bring myself to call them “progressives, their preferred self-description) because they are not only left on the political spectrum, but they left true liberalism a long time ago, about the time they left civilized, humane conversation, a form of dialogue that sincerely cared about reaching the truth.

Francis himself, however, actually galls them: A Jesuit who rejected liberation theology (“Oh, the horror!), a South American cardinal who opposed the government on abortion, euthanasia, and gay-lesbian adoption, and, most of all, his lifestyle provides no clubs to beat him with — he rides the bus, will not live in archdiocesan palaces, and wears the simplest of clerical robes.

In his first public gesture, Francis I bowed to the thousands in St. Peter’s Square, as if to say, “I will be your servant.”

Some readers may think it hyperbole to claim the Left “hates” the Church. Anyone who by 2013 thinks such a claim an exaggeration will not be convinced by any evidence I could offer here.

Perhaps the most egregious fact of all: Led by the epicenter of anti-Catholic hatred, The New York Times, the Left considers the priest sex scandal a definitive corroboration of all their disdain towards the Church and its moral teachings. Yet, the same media ignore similar, and worse, patterns of child abuse in public schools, the Boy Scouts, and other religious denominations, including Judaism.

The Church gets special treatment. For the Left, priestly hypocrisy proves the falsehood of the Church’s moral principles, particularly on matters of sex, including celibacy, contraception, marriage, and, of course, homosexuality. And the moral standard a person strives but fails to attain is refuted. But they fail to notice how their argument leads to the nullification of all moral standards, even their own.

Spanish Armada: The battle

Jul 29, 1588

The Spanish Armada begins. The Spainiards arranged their ships in athight crescent-shaped formation. The english had developed fast, maneuverable ships that let them stay out of range from the Armada. The Spanish started out with about 30,000 sailors and soldiers and 130 ships

http://www.homecomers.org/mirror/spanish-inquisition.htm

The Spanish inquisition flamed up once again during the occupation of the Low Countries (Belgium and the Netherlands) in the 16th century. The Spanish authorities saw religious affiliation as political affiliation, and religious dissent as political dissent. In truth, Protestantism had become linked to Dutch nationalism and to the independence movement against Spain.

In 1566, Dutch Protestants stormed into churches to destroy religious pictures and statues, which they saw as idolatrous. A new wave of Spanish religious persecution ensued under the Duke of Alva. But Protestantism in northern Europe, protected by powerful princes, was too strong for a new inquistion to succeed. Later, When the Netherlands became independent, the new Dutch Reformed leaders began clamping down on Catholics, just as the Spanish had clamped down on Protestants. Divisiveness and affluence seems to have withered the strength of the Dutch Anabaptists in a way that persecution had not.

THE great cause of the revolt which, within a few years, was to break forth throughout the Netherlands, was the inquisition
...
The Spanish Inquisition, strictly so called, that is to say, the modern or later institution established by Pope Alexander the Sixth and Ferdinand the Catholic, was doubtless invested with a more complete apparatus for inflicting human misery, and for appalling human imagination, than any of the other less artfully arranged inquisitions, whether papal or episcopal.  It had been originally devised for Jews or Moors, whom the Christianity of the age did not regard as human beings, but who could not be banished without depopulating certain districts.  It was soon, however, extended from pagans to heretics.  The Dominican Torquemada was the first Moloch to be placed upon this pedestal of blood and fire, and from that day forward the “Holy Office” was almost exclusively in the hand of that band of brothers.

In the eighteen years of Torquemada’s administration, ten thousand two hundred and twenty individuals were burned alive, and ninety seven thousand three hundred and twenty-one punished with infamy, confiscation of property, or perpetual imprisonment, so that the total number of families destroyed by this one friar alone amounted to one hundred and fourteen thousand four hundred and one

...
Among all the inquisitors in the Provinces the name of Peter Titelmann was perhaps the most dreaded. Throughout Flanders, Douay, and Tournay his name was feared and his presence loathed. Noiselessly and swiftly he descended upon these, the most thriving and populous districts of the Netherlands. R

emorselessly, like a great bird of evil omen, he swooped down upon the inhabitants, bringing with him grim terror and agony worse than death. The trembling peasants offered little or no resistance as they were dragged from their firesides or their beds and thrust into the dungeons, where torture, strangling, or burning awaited them. The paralysis of fear was on the country, and Peter Titelmann knew it right well.

Two Catholic priests and a layman murdered during the regime in 1976 are being considered for sainthood under a process launched by Bergoglio when he was the archbishop of Buenos Aires.

But other priests have been implicated in the regime's crimes, including former Buenos Aires police chaplain Christian Von Wernich, sentenced to life in prison in 2007 for six killings, 31 cases of torture and 42 abductions.

And Jorge Videla, the general who ruled Argentina from 1976-1981, when some of the worst violations were carried out, was quoted in a 2012 book as saying the junta had "very good" relations with the church.

Relatives of victims of the "Dirty War" -- which killed an estimated 30,000 people -- accuse the clergy of remaining silent and in some cases of denouncing the regime's opponents.

The famous Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo organization, founded in 1977 to help locate children kidnapped during the military era, have accused Bergoglio of failing to do enough -- then or now.

From all MSM chatter and comments this pope is a good fella, many have brought up points that are arguable, but who knows..
I'm not going to get into a religious debate, my beliefs and my manner of faith and prayer are mine, I carry no banner and don't judge any parishioners religion, its strictly their personell choice, free will and freedom of worship.
I do have a problem with corporate religions, money makers, controll artists, using the basic human desire to seek the creator.
I despise the guys that conned the folks on a lower level as well, the Jim Swaggarts or the Fays for example, milking the people they   blatantly deceived.
A religion that is mastered by the few, those who take command over humanity's hope and need for faith no matter how they decorate their churches, tabernacles, cathedral's, no matter what costumes they may wear, if they are powerfull enough to be a political $ entity or influence $ in the snake pit of  governments, politics it just may be they are off track a tad and those who stay on bended knee before these titled holy men may be well intended and convinced they are on the stairway to heaven, I regress.
Please don't interpret my remarks as a religious invitation to debate, or in any way an attack on ones faith I take no issue with any persons faith or form of worship, I do however dislike those chartered corporations who use the humble seeking a true faith and hope.
Historically, as Tahoe pointed out, there have been a few gliches , money and controll are not included in spirtual grace.

the blessed reformation of that lunatic Luther? you better do some research
LUTHER’S PREOCCUPATION WITH
THE DEVIL AND CRUDE SUBJECTS
Martin Luther also had a preoccupation with th
e Devil, with the bathroom, and with matters
one can only call disgusting. Even Protestant scholars have noted that Luther’s fascination
with crude subjects is disquieting. He admitt
edly had much interaction with the Devil.
“These [demons] would haunt the imagination of Martin Luther who had visions, which he
believed to be actual physical occurrences, of the devil hurling [excrement] at him and his
hurling it back. Indeed, in one of his many anal combats with the devil – in which Luther
would challenge the devil to ‘lick’ his posterior – Luther thought the best tactic might be to
‘throw him into my anus, where he belongs.’” (H.W. Crocker,
Triumph
, Roseville, CA:
Prima Publishing, 2001, p. 237.) After he had come to his position against the Papacy,
Luther called the “Papal decretal
s the Devil’s excretals.” He
also said that the pope and
cardinals should be killed, and that he and his supporters should wash their “hands in their
blood.” (Pastor,
History of the Popes
, Vol. 7, p. 393.)
Luther claims that he came up with justification by faith alone while on the toilet. He
claims that it came as “knowledge the Holy Spirit gave me on the privy in the tower.”
(Quoted in William Manchester,
A World Lit only By Fire: The Medieval Mind and the
Renaissance
Little Brown & Co., 1993, p. 140.) In fact, Luther’s idea that people need to
commit real and “honest” sins seems to have originated from a conversation with the Devil.
This is from Luther’s
Table Talk
.
"[Luther said:] When I awoke last night, the Devil came and wanted to debate with
me; he rebuked and reproached me, arguing that I was a sinner. To this I replied:
Tell me something new, Devil!
I already know that perfectly well; I have
committed many a solid and real sin.
Indeed there must be good honest sins
-
not fabricated and invented ones - for God to forgive for God's beloved Son's sake,
who took all of my sins upon Him so that now the sins I have committed are no
longer mine but belong to Christ. This wonderful gift of God I am not prepared to
deny, but want to acknowledge and confess."
With these facts in mind, it should be quite clear how those who followed Luther’s eventual
conclusions (the core of which are
faith alone
and
Scripture alone
)
are simply following
the machinations, inventions and discoveries of a man
. They are following the
inventions of a man who was guided and used by the Devil to create a false version of
“Christianity” which would lead countless people astray.

Argentine Church Faces ‘Dirty War’ Past
By ALEXEI BARRIONUEVO
Published: September 17, 2007

...
The attitude of the church was scandalously close to the dictatorship” that killed more than 15,000 Argentines and tortured tens of thousands more, the priest told a panel of three judges here, “to such an extent that I would say it was of a sinful degree.” The panel is deciding the fate of the Rev. Christian von Wernich, a priest accused of conspiring with the military who has become for many a powerful symbol of the church’s role.

The church “was like a mother that did not look for her children,” Father Capitanio added. “It did not kill anybody, but it did not save anybody, either.”

Father Capitanio’s mea culpa came nearly a quarter century after the junta was toppled in 1983 and democracy was restored. But in some ways, it occurred at just the right time. Through the trial of Father von Wernich, Argentina is finally confronting the church’s dark past during the dirty war, when it sometimes gave its support to the military as it went after leftist opponents.

That past stands in stark contrast to the role the church played during the dictatorships in Chile and Brazil, where priests and bishops publicly condemned the governments and worked to save those being persecuted from torture and death.

Officially, the church has maintained its silence throughout the trial, even knowing weeks in advance that Father Capitanio had been compelled by the tribunal to testify. The priest said in an interview that he was not ordered by the church to testify and was not speaking on its behalf.

Father von Wernich worked as a police chaplain during the dictatorship, from 1976 to 1983. He escaped to Chile but was found in 2003 in the seaside town of El Quisco by a group of journalists and human rights advocates. He was working as a priest under the name Christian González.

I'm not a Lutheran but more power to them.

He was working as a priest under the name Christian González.

my quote is from Most Holy family monastery who quoted directly from books which I posted, are you denying Luther said what was posted?
the inquisition is not a clear cut subject, don't fall for all the protestant propaganda, as for the church and what they did in Argentina this is not the Catholic Church but the false vatican 2 sect, they are Catholic in name only, we haven't had  a true pope since 1958 , these are all facts which can be obtained at the most holiy family website

Vatican Peels Back Veil on Its Bank
June 28, 2012

VATICAN CITY—The Vatican bank offered a rare glimpse inside its fortified headquarters as part of the Holy See's efforts to persuade financial regulators and the public that the secretive institution is committed to cracking down on money laundering.
...
More recently, the bank has been thrust to the front lines of a power struggle between Vatican officials who are at odds over the Holy See's efforts to clean up its finances. In May, Italian economist Ettore Gotti-Tedeschi was ousted as the bank's chairman three years after he was tapped to overhaul the bank. Italian newspapers have brimmed with reports of infighting among prelates that the Vatican says were based on documents leaked by the pope's butler.

Mr. Cipriani described the Vatican bank as a financially cautious organization that has €6 billion ($7.48 billion) in assets, including gold reserves at the U.S. Federal Reserve. The bank invests less than 5% of its portfolio in riskier securities like stocks, Mr. Cipriani said.

Messrs. Cipriani and Gotti-Tedeschi are being investigated by Italian prosecutors for allegedly violating Italy's antimoney-laundering laws. Prosecutors allege the executives allowed the bank to circulate tens of millions of euros through encrypted money transfers that made it difficult for authorities to identify who was behind the transactions.

Vatican bank troubles await pope's attention
Francis inherits Benedict's struggle to clean up the secretive institution, which has been plagued by suspicion of money laundering
By Tom Kington, Los Angeles Times
March 23, 2013, 7:22 p.m.

VATICAN CITY — As he begins work, Pope Francis will find a pile of files in his in-tray on sex abuse and squabbling cardinals. But he will also come across a thick dossier on the Vatican's secretive bank, which his predecessor, Pope Benedict XVI, tried to drag into the daylight after years of suspicion that it was a haven for money launderers.

After struggling to get the Vatican onto a coveted European "white list" for clean banks, Benedict suffered a setback last year when his top manager, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, was fired by the bank's board, officially for incompetence. Gotti Tedeschi saw things differently, contending that "an honest person [at the bank] who wants to do good is ousted!"
...

Set up in 1942, the bank has 33,000 accounts and $7 billion in assets, all run from a former Vatican prison building. It is intended to serve priests, dioceses and religious orders, but its high volume of cash transactions, global activity and limited information about account holders have set off several alarm bells.
,...
in 2010, prosecutors again alleging money laundering seized $30 million from two accounts at other banks used by the IOR, after claiming official inquiries had been met with "deafening silence." The cash was handed back when the Vatican set up an internal watchdog to keep an eye on the IOR, part of a papal edict issued by Benedict in December 2010 to move the bank toward meeting European transparency rules.
...
In 2012, the Vatican removed the bishop of Trapani in Sicily during an investigation into possible shifting of funds through an IOR account opened by a local priest after the alleged illegal sale of church properties. Prosecutors suspected Sicilian Mafia involvement.
...
As a Jesuit, Francis understands how to manage organizations, and he understands power," said Marco Politi, an Italian Vatican expert. "I would not put it past him to now convert the bank into a regular bank, with all the transparency rules that entails."

STEVE: There's also a little bit of gold down in your basement, right?

WILLIAM DUDLEY: Yeah. I think we have the biggest supply of gold in the world.
It's not the U.S.'s gold. It's foreign gold. It sits in our basement. The building was actually built around the gold vault. They built the vault, and then they built the building.

Pope Francis considers closing scandal-riven bank
From: The Times
March 25, 201312:00AM

POPE Francis is to consider abolishing the Vatican Bank - which has been beset by a scandal over allegations of money-laundering - in a drive for greater transparency at the heart of the Catholic Church.

Archbishop Claudio Maria Celli, who has been tipped as a possible secretary of state, or "Vatican prime minister", said Francis would weigh up appeals made by two cardinals on the eve of his election for the bank - formally known as the Institute for Works of Religion (IOR) - to be scrapped.

The bank has been surrounded by controversy since the death of "God's banker" Roberto Calvi, the Italian financier found hanged under Blackfriars Bridge in London in 1982. Italian prosecutors are investigating allegations of money-laundering and a claim that one account was indirectly linked to the Sicilian mafia godfather Matteo Messina Denaro.

This is what they're talking about:

Prosecutors investigate Vatican Bank mafia link
Anti Mafia prosecutors have asked the secretive Vatican Bank to disclose details of an account held by a priest in connection with a money laundering and fraud investigation, it emerged on Sunday.

By Nick Pisa in Rome
10:25PM BST 10 Jun 2012

Father Treppiedi, 36, was serving as a priest in Alcamo, near Trapani, said to be the richest parish on the Mafia's island stronghold of Sicily

The official request was made more than a month ago but so far the Vatican Bank, known as the Institute for Religious Works, has refused to disclose any records of the account held by father Ninni Treppiedi – who is currently suspended from serving as a priest.

Investigators want to know more about vast sums of money that are said to have passed through his account to establish if they were money laundering operations by on the run Mafia Godfather, Matteo Messina Denaro.

The reports emerged in the Italian media and came just two weeks after the head of the Vatican Bank, Ettore Gotti Tedeschi, was sacked amid claims of power struggles and corruption within the Holy See which have been linked to the leaking of sensitive documents belonging to Pope Benedict XVI.

More in line with a Dan Brown thriller, it is not the first time that the Vatican Bank has been embroiled in claims of Mafia money laundering. Thirty years ago this month financier Roberto Calvi was found hanging under London's Blackfriars Bridge with cash and bricks stuffed into his pockets.

Initially City of London police recorded the death as suicide but Italian authorities believe it was murder after it emerged Calvi, known as God's Banker because of his links to the Vatican Bank, had been trying to launder millions of pounds of mob money via its accounts and through his own Banco Ambrosiano which had collapsed spectacularly.

Pope Francis said he will not move to the Papal apartments in the Apostolic Palace at the Vatican now that they have completed the renovation after the 8 years of Pope Benny living there.

Pope Francis said he will stay in his "temporary" housing at St Martha's House the same place he moved to when he was named Pope and after he had paid for his own hotel bill where he stayed during the conclave.

Pope said he wants to live a normal life.

Vatican says "until he is asked to move in by order".
There is no doubt they will force it on him sooner rather than later even if he does not like it.
The evil guys are still in command...

Article in Italian:

Francesco per il momento non si trasferisce nell'appartamento papale: «Vuole vivere normalmente»
Alessandro Speciale - ANdrea Tornielli

 Hi Ship.
I would truly like to see a decent man commanding that much power.
My ideology is cynical, I'm guilty and admit it. Pope Francis is being publicly renowned for his humility and and recently his mention of shutting down the Vatican bank. It all sounds great, and sure I would be pleased to see any corporate religion get it right.
I have been watching them come and go for a while, the good ones usually get a bullet, heart attack or an assisted suicide.
I understand your feelings and would like to believe all of the MSM chatter, unfortunately ( for me) its a wait and see.
If he is on the level, that all of this publicity is not simply showmanship,a form of putting the church back on the front page and correcting their image, resurecting parishoners,  I hope he lives a long life.

Berkshire to Pay Nothing to Be Among Top Goldman Sachs Holders

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A) is poised to become one of Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (GS)’s largest shareholders without paying anything after the companies agreed on a plan to settle warrants granted at the height of the 2008 financial crisis ...

Buffett on track to be top Goldman shareholder
 By Chris Isidore @CNNMoneyInvestMarch 26, 2013

NEW YORK (CNNMoney)

Warren Buffett is on his way to becoming one of Goldman Sachs' 10 largest shareholders.

It's the outcome of Buffett's $5 billion emergency cash infusion into Goldman at the height of the financial crisis in 2008, when Wall Street firms were frozen in panic after the bankruptcy of investment bank Lehman Brothers.

At the time, Buffett received preferred shares worth $5 billion that paid a dividend of $500 million annually. He also got warrants to buy 43 million shares of Goldman stock for $115 apiece by October of this year. If Buffett were to cash in at Goldman's current stock price of around $145, his stake would be worth $6.3 billion, a profit of $1.3 billion.

But Goldman and Buffett said Tuesday they had revise the options so that Berkshire will receive shares equal in value to that profit. At current stock prices, that would mean an additional 9 million shares. It would be enough to rank Buffett as Goldman's ninth largest shareholder, according to LionShares, a stock tracking service.

WHY WARREN BUFFETT IS ANTI-CATHOLIC

January 25, 2012 by admin
2012 - January Releases, Thompson

...
What is not being discussed is the billionaire’s support for anti-Catholicism. First some background information.

Over several decades, Buffett has spent a fortune funding radical abortion organizations like NARAL and Planned Parenthood; he has lavishly given money to train a new generation of abortion physicians; he has spent millions to help RU-486 (the abortion-inducing drug) to win FDA approval; and he gave his pro-abortion, population-control friends at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation nearly $31 billion in 2006 for more of the same.

There’s nothing anti-Catholic about any of this, but when he intentionally seeks to subvert Catholicism by dishonestly funding pro-abortion organizations that have hijacked the Catholic name, that’s another story.

To be specific, Buffett has given hundreds of millions over the years to anti-Catholic front groups like Catholics for Choice (formerly Catholics for a Free Choice) and its sister organization in Latin America, Catholics for the Right to Decide.

In 2010, the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation alone gave $759,822 to the former, and almost $1.7 million to the latter. These letter-head organizations wouldn’t exist if they depended on donations from members—they don’t have any—they exist because of the likes of Warren Buffett.

Warren Buffett Gives until it Hurts: Hurts Women, Hurts the Developing World and Kills Preborn Children

“Warren Buffett’s philanthropy aims at killing pre-born children not curing childhood disease, eliminating the poor not poverty, destroying the developing world not aiding in development,” states prominent Roman Catholic Priest.

FRONT ROYAL, Va, June 27 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, President of Human Life International responds to Warren Buffett’s announcement to donate billions of dollars to the pro-abortion Gates Foundation.

“Warren Buffett’s money has gone to fund the deadly abortion causing drug RU- 486,  the production and distribution of portable suction abortion devices in the developing world, organizations that push abortion on developing countries, and among many other radical organizations Buffett’s foundation gave a grant to the Center for Reproductive Rights, an organization that fought bans on partial-birth abortion…

“Warren Buffett, who is not a Roman Catholic, has also donated money to the Anti-Catholic organization Catholics for a free Choice a group that seeks to undermine the Catholic Church’s teachings on the sanctity of human life.

I do not practice any religion. If I did I think I would be much closer to Hinduism rather than Christianity.

However... we have a different man here as a Pope.
Old Pope Benny is now living a life of luxury at the Castel Gandolfo Summer residence until he (maybe) moves to his new place in a monastery while this new Pope is sort of revolutionizing the job.

Pope Francis shuns grand apartment for two rooms

Pope Francis has decided to shun a grand papal apartment on the top floor of the Vatican's Apostolic Palace in favour of a modest two-room residence.
His spokesman said he was "trying out this type of simple living" in a communal building with other priests.
In doing so he has broken a tradition which is more than a century old.
...
The Pope will take his meals in the communal dining room together with other visiting clerics and permanent residents.

ROME (AP) — Pope Francis washed and kissed the feet of a dozen inmates at a juvenile detention center in a Holy Thursday ritual that he celebrated for years as archbishop and is continuing now that he is pope. Two of the 12 were young women, a remarkable choice given that the rite re-enacts Jesus' washing of the feet of his male disciples.

Beautiful towels!
I hope they've been left at the prison for the foot washed detainee's use.

Pope Francis is determined to put this faith back on the map, I question everything as I do his kissing the feet of the prisoners for a photo op.
It would take up a few pages to explain why I'm cynicall: suffice to say we all know the history of this church and other corp religions as well.
I truly like to think that a honorable guy is taking the throne in any corporate religion, it just doesn't get there for me.
If he had condemed war crimes I would have stuck on my glasses and  turned up my hearing aid.
No offense meant to any faith..

Since the above makes specific reference to "Pope Leo's encyclical," I can't resist mentioning again the "Open Letter to Pope Leo XIII" that this elicited from Henry George:

The bottom line is that one does not have to be a "socialist" (or anything close to it) to be opposed to privilege (see this, this and this), and that one should therefore always be leery of anyone who attempts to shield privilege from public scrutiny by wrapping it in the flag of anti-socialism.

Paul Kengor. "Reagan’s Catholic Connections." Catholic Exchange (June 11, 2004). http://www.catholiceducation.org/articles/catholic_stories/cs0080.html
Reagan’s Catholic Connections
PAUL KENGOR
Reagan's embrace of Catholics began at home, with his father, Jack Reagan. Jack was an apathetic Catholic who left the religious rearing of his two children to his wife, Nelle, a deeply Christian woman, and a Protestant.

Ironically, whereas Reagan was raised in a household marked by a distinct lack of Catholicism, later, as president, he was surrounded by serious Catholics with whom he tried to change the world. Specifically, Reagan's assault on atheistic Soviet communism was aided by a number of key Catholics, such as CIA Director William J. Casey, Speechwriter Tony Dolan, Secretary of State Al Haig, Ambassador Vernon Walters, and others.

Two men, in particular, were pivotal: Reagan's first two national security advisers, Richard V. Allen and William P. Clark.

Four years before Reagan's presidency began, he met with Richard V. Allen in Los Angeles. Allen never forgot what Reagan told him that January 1977 afternoon: "Dick, my idea of American policy toward the Soviet Union is simple, and some would say simplistic. It is this: We win and they lose. What do you think of that?" That was the plan.

Reagan's most crucial adviser was the man who would replace Allen: William P. Clark. "Judge Clark," as he is known, implemented the Reagan administration's core policy directives crucial to confronting the Soviet empire. Clark is so devout in his faith that he has built a beautiful chapel on his property in Paso Robles, California, which he has opened to the community. This dedicated Catholic was Reagan's closest spiritual partner. The two men frequently prayed together.
...
A year later, in June 1982, Reagan had an even more powerful encounter with Pope John Paul II at the Vatican. The Polish Pontiff rightly perceived in Reagan a Protestant who was friendly to Catholicism, and who counted many Catholics among his intimates. Of course, John Paul II was overjoyed when Reagan became the first president to extend diplomatic recognition to the Vatican — a move long resisted by previous presidents. Both men shared a hatred of communism.
...
The two talked alone in the Vatican Library. They discussed the assassination attempts against them the previous year — only six weeks apart. Reagan said to the Pope: "Look how the evil forces were put in our way and how Providence intervened." Carl Bernstein and Marco Politi, in their biography of the Pope, dramatically conclude: "For the Pope, Reagan had been … an instrument in the hands of God."
...
Again, how ironic that this man who was raised by an apathetic Catholic father would be surrounded by the most devout Catholics throughout his presidency — both inside and outside the White House. And it was those Catholics who were crucial to Reagan's life mission and enduring legacy: victory in the Cold War.
Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty: For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole ; He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee. - Job 5

Hi T. Bumped+++ hammer=nail.
That you mentioned CIA director Casey is ironic. This guy was a Mucken Loonatic, so far out there he didn't touch ground,
I pondered on his many clandestine ops and came to the beleif that he commited suicide rather than being called before the investigating committee.
OK, I know they say illness, operations etc... but I would go so far as
saying he sacrificed his life voluntarily  rather than in any way exposing the NWO crew or was he just cautiously wacked out with the cover story. In any event he was so Mucken nuts he would have gone right along with a planed death.
He and Kissinger were on the same road, not side by side , Casy was mentally deranged,  educated, genius level total mucken physchopath. Kissinger is a physcho shiitbag as well but a balless tub of scum, Casey was the NWO do or die equation.

KISSINGER TO ARGENTINES ON DIRTY WAR: "THE QUICKER YOU SUCCEED THE BETTER"

Newly declassified documents show Secretary of State gave green light to junta, Contradict official line that Argentines "heard only what [they] wanted to hear." While military dictatorship committed massive human rights abuses in 1976, Kissinger advised "If you can finish before Congress gets back, the better."
...
Washington, D.C., 4 December 2003 - Newly declassified State Department documents obtained by the National Security Archive under the Freedom of Information Act show that in October 1976, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger and high ranking U.S. officials gave their full support to the Argentine military junta and urged them to hurry up and finish the "dirty war" before the U.S. Congress cut military aid.

A post-junta truth commission found that the Argentine military had "disappeared" at least 10,000 Argentines in the so-called "dirty war" against "subversion" and "terrorists" between 1976 and 1983; human rights groups in Argentina put the number at closer to 30,000.

http://www.gwu.edu/~nsarchiv/NSAEBB/NSAEBB133/

...
"The Memorandum of Conversation explains why the Argentine generals believed they got a clear message from the Secretary that they had carte blanche for the dirty war," said Carlos Osorio, Director of the Southern Cone Documentation Project at the National Security Archive. "It appears that Secretary Kissinger gave the 'green light' to the Argentine military during the June 1976 meeting with Guzzetti in Santiago," he added.

The June10 Memorandum of Conversation was obtained by the National Security Archive's Southern Cone Documentation Project through a Freedom of Information Act request to the Department of State filed in August 2002 and appealed in February 2004. The document was misdated June 6, 1976. The meeting took place during the morning of June 10, 1976, when Secretary Kissinger met with several foreign dignitaries attending the OAS General Assembly in Santiago. That afternoon he traveled to Mexico City [See Secretary Kissinger's travels at the Department of State Historian's web page and the Secretary's calendar of events for that day].

In Santiago, Guzzetti told Secretary Kissinger of the difficulties the Argentine security forces faced in dealing with the refugees, mostly because of lack of information: "[refugees] do not want to register… We have no names. Only the refugee committees know something in detail…"

A day earlier, on June 9, 1976 clandestine Argentine security forces had ransacked the Catholic Commission for Refugees in Buenos Aires and stolen refugee records. The day after Guzzetti and Secretary Kissinger met, on June 11, twenty-four Chilean and Uruguayan refugees were kidnapped, held illegally for two days, and tortured by a combined Argentine-Chilean-Uruguayan squadron.

Guzzetti also described the intelligence coordination with neighboring dictatorships: "The terrorist problem is general to the entire Southern Cone. To combat it, we are encouraging joint efforts to integrate with our neighbors… All of them: Chile, Paraguay, Bolivia, Uruguay, Brazil." This collaboration was codenamed Operation Condor
...
By the end of 1976, 10,000 Argentines had been disappeared or assassinated by the Argentine security forces; half a dozen American citizens had been kidnapped and tortured. On the international front, the cooperation between Argentine military and intelligence forces and other Southern Cone militaries left hundreds of Uruguayans, Chileans, Bolivians, Paraguayans, and Brazilians disappeared, tortured, and/or dead.

Kissinger's boys in
the administration
by Robert Zubrin and Kathleen Klenetsky
British agent Henry Kissinger is still exerting substantial control over U.S. foreign policy through a network of proteges, who served under him at the National Security Council (NSC) or in the State Department, and who now occupy key positions in the Reagan administration. The following is a partial list of Kissinger's forces.

Alexander Haig. Secretary of State, was Kissinger's top aide in the Nixon NSC from 1969 to 1973. During that time he helped Kissinger wreck the Rogers Plan to bring permanent peace to the Middle East and assisted Kissinger in Middle East War, which kicked off the first oil hoax. In 1974, Haig, as White House Chief of Staff, was Kissinger's key ally in orchestrating the White House coup which forced Nixon out of office.
...
Frank Carlucci, Deputy Secretary of Defense, was Kissinger's representative as U.S. Ambassador to Portugal from 1975 to 1977, at a time when NATO made repeated attempts to organize a military coup counterrevolution in that country.

William Egan Colby (January 4, 1920 – April 27, 1996) spent a career in intelligence for the United States, culminating in holding the post of Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) from September 1973 to January 1976.

Colby was for most of his life a staunch Roman Catholic.[1] He was often referred to as "the warrior-priest." He married Barbara Heinzen in 1945 and they had five children. The Catholic Church played a "central role" in the family's life, with Colby's two daughters receiving their first communion at St. Peter's Basilica.[2] In 1984, he divorced Barbara and married Democratic diplomat Sally Shelton-Colby.

After the war, Colby graduated from Columbia Law School and then briefly practiced law in [ WIlld Bill] William Joseph Donovan's New York firm. Bored by the practice of law and inspired by his liberal beliefs, he moved to Washington to work for the National Labor Relations Board.

Colby's time as DCI was also eventful on the world stage. Shortly after he assumed leadership, the Yom Kippur War broke out, an event that surprised not only the American intelligence agencies but also the Israelis. This intelligence surprise reportedly affected Colby's credibility with the Nixon Administration. Meanwhile, after many years of involvement, South Vietnam fell to Communist forces in April 1975, a particularly difficult blow for Colby, who had dedicated so much of his life and career to the American effort there. Events in the arms control field, Angola, the Middle East, and elsewhere also demanded attention.

George H. W. Bush 1976–1977

Bush's confirmation as the Director of Central Intelligence was opposed by many politicians and citizens who were still reeling from the Watergate scandal (when Bush was the head of the Republican National Committee, and a steadfast defender of Nixon[citation needed]) and the Church Committee investigations. Many arguments against Bush's initial confirmation were that he was too partisan for the office. The Washington Post, George Will, and Senator Frank Church were some notable figures opposed to Bush's nomination. After a pledge by Bush not to run for either President or Vice-President in 1976, opposition to his nomination died down.

Bush served as the DCI for 355 days, from January 30, 1976, to January 20, 1977. [7] The CIA had been rocked by a series of revelations, including disclosures based on investigations by the Senate's Church Committee, about the CIA's illegal and unauthorized activities, and Bush was credited with helping to restore the agency's morale.[8] On February 18, 1976, President Ford issued Executive Order 11905, which established policy guidelines and restrictions for individual intelligence agencies, and clarified intelligence authorities and responsibilities. Bush was given 90 days to implement the new order, which called for a major reorganization of the American Intelligence Community and firmly stated that intelligence activities could not be directed against American citizens.[9] In his capacity as DCI, Bush gave national security briefings to Jimmy Carter both as a presidential candidate and as President-elect, and discussed the possibility of remaining in that position in a Carter administration

Operation Condor on Trial in Argentina
by Marcela Valente (buenos aires)
Tuesday, March 05, 2013
Inter Press Service

BUENOS AIRES, Mar 05 (IPS) - The trial over a campaign of terror coordinated among the dictatorships of the Southern Cone of South America in the 1970s and 1980s began Tuesday in Buenos Aires with former dictator Jorge Rafael Videla as one of the main defendants, along with another 24 former military officers.
...
The trial that began Tuesday, which could stretch on for up to two years, is for the kidnapping and forced disappearance of 106 people. The largest group of victims were Uruguayans (48), but there were also Argentines, Bolivians, Chileans, Paraguayans and one Peruvian.

The case was initiated in 1999, when the two amnesty laws that put a stop to the prosecution of members of the military for human rights abuses committed during Argentina's 1976-1983 dictatorship were still in force.

The lawsuit thus invoked forced disappearance as a crime against humanity that was not subject to amnesty.
...
Further evidence is contained in declassified documents from the United States State Department, such as a 1976 memo from an FBI agent describing the coordinated actions of South America's military regimes, which could go "as far as murder."

“Operation Condor”. Latin America: The Thirty Years Dirty War
by Pierre Abramovici
...
According to the CIA, which claims not to have heard of Condor until 1976 (8), three of the countries involved, namely Chile, Argentina and Uruguay, “extended cooperation on anti-subversion activities to the assassination of high-ranking terrorists living in exile in Europe”. Although it had been accepted for years that information was to be exchanged bilaterally, “a third, top-secret phase of Operation Condor apparently involved training special teams from member countries for joint operations that included the assassination of terrorists and terrorist sympathisers. When a terrorist or sympathiser from a member country was identified, a team would be sent to locate the target and keep him under surveillance. Then a hit squad would be despatched. The special teams were made up of people from one or several Condor states who were supplied with false identity papers issued by member countries.”

The CIA claims that the operation centre for phase three was in Buenos Aires, where a special team had been set up. Meanwhile, bilateral meetings between the countries of the Southern Cone continued as usual under the aegis of the CAA, and their effects were just as devastating (9).

Many Condor meetings took place in 1976. They were often attended by the same people who took part in CAA bilateral meetings. According to the CIA, “although cooperation between the various intelligence and security services had existed for some time, it was not formalised until late May 1976 at a Condor meeting in Santiago de Chile, where the main topic was long-term cooperation between the services of the participating countries going well beyond the exchange of information. The Condor member countries identified themselves by code numbers: Condor One, Condor Two, etc.

Flying like a condor

But the scale of repression made the existence of Condor increasingly difficult to hide. The CIA itself became a source of embarrassing rumours as staff exchanged quips about colleagues sent abroad because they could “fly like a condor”. Finally, Contreras’ own policy of targeted assassinations put paid to the operation. On 21 September 1976 he had Chile’s former foreign minister, Orlando Letelier, assassinated in Washington. It was a major blunder. The US investigators were determined to identify those responsible. The FBI’s chief officer in Buenos Aires filed a special report on phase three of Operation Condor, and extracts found their way into the American press. A Congressional committee of inquiry was quickly set up. The Chileans responded by disbanding Dina and replacing it by another organisation. Contreras was ditched.

The newly elected US president Jimmy Carter had made human rights part of his platform. He was not prepared to countenance Condor-type operations. At the very least, he did not want the US involved in them. The prevailing view is that the Carter administration pressured the Latin American countries to close Condor down.

Representatives of all the Condor member states met in Buenos Aires on 13-15 December 1976 to discuss future plans in the light of the new situation.

The Argentinians, who had outstripped all the other dictatorships in the ferocity of their methods since the putsch of 23 March, took matters in hand. With help from Paraguay, they sought a more secure and discreet channel for anti-subversion operations in the form of the Latin American Anti-Communist Federation (CAL), an offshoot of the World Anti-Communist League (WACL).

^ Scott, The Road to 9/11 (2008), p. 63. "These offshore events in 1976 were mirrored by a similar arrangement for off-loading former CIA agents and operations in Latin America. This was the Confederación Anticomunista Latinoamaericana (CAL) and its death-squad collaboration Operation Condor. Operation Condor was a coalition of intelligence agencies of CAL countries, chiefly Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay.

The CAL was funded through the World Anti-Communist League by the governments of South Korea and Taiwan and—once again—the petrodollars of Saudi Arabia."

Operation Condor (Spanish: Operación Cóndor, also known as Plan Cóndor, Portuguese: Operação Condor) was a campaign of political repression and terror involving assassination and intelligence operations officially implemented in 1975 by the right-wing dictatorships of the Southern Cone of South America. The program aimed to eradicate communist or Soviet influence and ideas and to control active or potential opposition movements against the participating governments.[1]

Due to its clandestine nature, the precise number of deaths directly attributable to Operation Condor is highly disputed. Some estimates are that at least 60,000 deaths can be attributed to Condor,[2][unreliable source?] and possibly more.[3][4][5] Condor's key members were the governments in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and Brazil. The United States provided technical support and supplied military aid to the participants until at least 1978, with Ecuador and Peru joining later in more peripheral roles.[

Cold War context

Operation Condor, which took place in the context of the Cold War, had the tacit approval of the United States. In 1968, U.S. General Robert W. Porter stated that "in order to facilitate the coordinated employment of internal security forces within and among Latin American countries, we are...endeavoring to foster inter-service and regional cooperation by assisting in the organization of integrated command and control centers; the establishment of common operating procedures; and the conduct of joint and combined training exercises." Condor was one of the fruits of this effort.

The targets were officially armed groups (such as the MIR, the Montoneros or the ERP, the Tupamaros, etc.) but in fact included all kinds of political opponents, including their families and others, as reported by the Valech Commission.[citation needed] The Argentine "Dirty War", for example, which resulted in approximately 30,000 victims according to most estimates, targeted many trade-unionists, relatives of activists, etc.[citation needed]

From 1976 onwards, the Chilean DINA and its Argentine counterpart, SIDE, were the operation's front-line troops. The infamous "death flights," theorized in Argentina by Luis María Mendía — and also used during the Algerian War (1954–1962) by French forces — were widely used, in order to make the corpses, and therefore evidence, disappear.[citation needed] There were also many cases of child abduction

/...
The Argentine Dirty War was carried out during and around Operation Condor. The Argentine SIDE cooperated with the Chilean DINA in numerous cases of desaparecidos. Chilean General Carlos Prats, former Uruguayan MPs Zelmar Michelini and Héctor Gutiérrez Ruiz, as well as the ex-president of Bolivia, Juan José Torres, were assassinated in the Argentine capital.

Brennan’s views were shaped by his Roman Catholic upbringing and occasional forays into just war theory. He, too, has a legal bent of mind, perhaps the product of his Jesuit education and the many years he spent as a CIA analyst.

US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta met Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican on Wednesday.
2:12PM GMT 16 Jan 2013

Panetta kissed the Pope's hand, and the Pope said, "Thank you for helping to protect the world."

The Pentagon boss responded, "Pray for me."

Panetta, a staunch Catholic, is in Rome as part of a weeklong swing across Europe, meeting with defence ministers to talk about ongoing conflicts in Afghanistan and Mali.

In January 2009, President-elect Obama nominated Panetta for the post of CIA Director.[1][2] Panetta was confirmed by the full Senate in February 2009. As director of the CIA, Panetta oversaw the U.S. military operation that led to Osama bin Laden's death.

On April 28, 2011, Obama announced the nomination of Panetta as Defense Secretary when Robert Gates retired.

In June the Senate confirmed Panetta unanimously as Secretary of Defense. He assumed the office on July 1.[3] David Petraeus took over as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency on September 6 [ But Petreaus  was racked with scandal to be replaced by Brennan hmmm ]
