Alex just dropped a bombshell on the today's broadcast regarding the globalist view of the FAMILY. He said that they believe it is an archaic institution and for the modern world like any disease, it should be eliminated...
WOW! he said that he read it in a sociology textbook some years ago... has anyone run across this thing..? Lets put our minds and bandwidth together toward the task of ferreting this thing out. When you find anything, post it here.

Arthur W. Calhoun, "A Social History of The American Family: From Colonial Times to the Present"
"American history consummates the disappearance of the wider [or extended] familism and the substitution of the parentalism of society.... The new view is that the higher and more obligatory relation is to society rather than to the family; the family goes back to the age of savagery while the state belongs to the age of civilization. The modern individual is a world citizen, served by the world, and home interests can no longer be supreme."

As great a quote as that is, that book seems to have been published in 1917. We're looking for something within the last 15 years or so.

Since Alex is checking, here's an interesting document on the police state and the rise in SWAT raids. It's called Overkill: The Rise of Paramilitary Police Raids In America by Radley Balko. It also documents some public school raids I believe, I haven't gotten that far into it. http://www.cato.org/pubs/wtpapers/balko_whitepaper_2006.pdfYeah, there's a textbook example of a paramilitary raid on a public school on page 18.

"Sociology: A Brief Introduction" by Richard T. Schaefer
This is probably the most widely used college textbook for intro to sociology.
On page 285 discusses the approach to family of "Conflict Theorists":
"Conflict theorists also view the family as an economic unit that contributes to societal injustice. The family is the basis for transferring power, property, and privilege from one generation to the next ... conflict theorists argue that the family helps to maintain inequality."
Remember that most college textbooks do not tell you what is the case, they summarize what various scholars in the field argue is the case. And so in an intro textbook, you'll read what functionalists think, conflict theorists (marxists), feminists, etc.
I'm a college professor, by the way, but not in the field of sociology.

Remember, though, that Calhoun is the *editor* of an anthology of readings in the field of sociology. So you can't impute the words of one of the included articles to him as the editor. For instance, he includes famous essays by people like Marcuse. Several of Calhoun's books are edited collections of readings for students. These usually include a representative sample of various voices in the given field. So, for instance, your average "ethics" anthology will contain articles arguing against abortion and articles arguing for abortion. I'm not saying that Alex is wrong, just that we need to blame the idea that family is a disease on the person who actually argued that way, not on the editor of the anthology.

THIS was posted (By Myself) on my OLDEST YAHOO GROUP, "FreighttrainDomain" on December 26, 2001 7:33 pm. I collect anything that THREATENS ME & MY FAMILY, and the IDEOLOGY in the PUBLIC SCHOOL teachers PRONOTING a GUILT CONSCIENESS to prepare people to ACCEPT DEATH, MASS EXTERMINATION of USELESS EATERS. A Human Virus Wednesday, December 24, 1997 The Kansas City Star I am a 17-year-old senior at Shawnee Mission West High School. My teacher passed an article around which caught my attention. The article was about the Earth and us being its virus. Here we are sitting and complaining about our health and how we destroy our bodies. But what about the Earth? Aren't we destroying it? The Earth is our home. She is our host and we represent the infectious disease which eats up her immune system. Like a virus, we cannot survive without our host. So like any immune system trying to fight off infectious diseases, the earth is trying to fight us off by invading us with her "killer T-cells." [Obviously they have not watched the video AIDS, EBOLA, AND VACCINATIONS by Len Horowitz which tells us that the "killer T-cells" in the AIDS virus were created in a laboratory and purposely injected into the human blood stream.] Maybe the Earth's way of killing us off is by creating all these diseases. Maybe the Earth is fighting for her life like we are for ours. Maybe the Earth's way of doing this is by infecting us with incurable illnesses. Maybe we should start taking better care of ourselves and our Earth. Michelle Yaronvinsky Overland Park. [This is the attitude of our teachers having been trained by the New World Order school system. One day they will say it is time to kill the virus, then where will the Christians be? http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FreighttrainDomain/message/14

I believe this is the page from his book that Alex has been referring to. It's right out of the Communist Manifesto Classical Sociological Theory (Blackwell Readers in Sociology (Paper). By Craig Calhoun, Joseph Gerteis, James Moody, Steven Pfaff, Kathryn E. Schmidt, Indermohan Virk Page 87:

Alex gave us a wave today... 6 minutes into the second segment of the first hour of Today's Show, (07/08/11), while he talked about the "storage unit family" and his analysis and conclusions after 5 days of researching their situation... he made reference to this Prison Planet Forum thread. Researched by the membership here, three and a half years ago... good job guys!

Once again, in the first segment of the show today, 04/07/13... (Duke's 5th birthday, btw...) Alex gave the Forum a wave for the quick research we did that produced the information in this thread back in January 2008...
A wave back big guy...
Now he needs the cites for "We have your children, so we WILL get your guns." or quotes similar... any that are out there that use economic, cultural, or other forms of open coercion to force us to disarm.

iamc2,
The ten planks of "communism" from the Communist Manifesto which is essentially what you have posted here... are of course the absolute basis, the foundation blocks if you will, of any modern "authoritarian" top down political system... which is the gateway to classical slavery and eugenics.
Thanks for posting them.
I think what Alex is specifically looking for are actual quotes by individuals speaking the kind of coercive statements that impart their intent to exert power over individuals against their will... like, "you can choose food or your guns, your kids or your guns, or you can choose your life or your guns but you can't have both" ... that kind of thing.

JTCoytote, my friend and brother; I THANK YOU FOR YOUR WISDOM [more of the youth could learn from the Old and Wise Coytote], and I only Re-Posted the Nazi Program for a Re-think of What they are doing! This is new: here in Nazi NYS: Many Truth-Seekers Here in Monroe County [from WASB 1310 AM radio] attended a bogus county meeting [4/9/13], that is open to the public: But there are ARMED Guards [sheriffs' deputies], this meeting was about a NEW LAW to SPY on Antique Dealers: ...and as usual the meeting was a staged Assault on our FREEDOM's! This is the Truth of What I saw: 'A [little older lady] Nun from a local charity Had her microphone Shut Off and she was escorted from the podium by a armed guard! and the goons showed us how to grow TULIPS? as Mr. Jones says' 'ya can't make this up!'
