Oh, make no mistake RT is highly biased toward the "Russian narrative".
Just as CNN and others sell the pro-USA message, so RT sells the pro-Russian line magnificently. When last have you seen a story actually critical of Putin or Russia. They basically kiss Putin's ass 24/7.
Having said that, if you are aware of this, RT seems a lot less controlled than some of the other mainstream media and so will in general offer a more objective view of the world (if not Russia).
While it does sell the pro-Russia view, some of it's reporting on other issues still make for a good source of news as an alternative to some of the others like CNN.
The fact that they have Max Keiser on in a regular slot, and even interview Alex Jones on occasion, is probably testament to the fact that their "restrictions" on content are less severe than some of the other controlled media.
However - if you're looking for objective reporting and the real story on Russia itself... ironically RT is NOT the channel to watch.

It's interesting to watch and I do, but should be taken with grains of salt...
They show America's warts, allow our "government's" critics to speak at length, but how often do you see Russia's?

Some aspects of it may have been, in order to derail it. An attorney who worked with NY911truth told me he believed the NY group had been infiltrated, such that in 2008 it produced a technically flawed petition for a referendum to open a NYC funded independent investigation, knowing it would be thrown out upon being challenged. Even though 80,000 signatures were collected for it (where only 30,000 were required), it went down in flames due to the flaws somebody intentionally put in the petition. As for RT, it is obvious that there is no criticism of Putin on the channel (especially on the shows produced out of the Moscow studios), but the network is incisive about examining other governments. Just as the BBC avoids analyzing the UK, but often has laser beam accuracy when covering other parts of the world. I guess as long as you don't bite the hand that feeds you, you're free to bite other hands. |

No we should question everything. How many times have you found out, that the people you would listening to, where pulling your leg, mixing truth and lies together. We need to question everything, if we are going to be comfortable with listening to others. We have been lied to too many times, just to accept anyone who claims to be telling the truth, and follow them. No wonder people are going in circles!  |

or what are we for doing ,Being Agent provocateurs?
No, being it is such a widely cited source means we should double our efforts to understand
a site we call a place of truth.

Why are you trying to bait me? I never said anything of what you're asking. I didn't say we shouldn't listen, I said we should question everything, and ESPECIALLY those who claim to speak the truth. |
