Medicare part D was just added/revamped/whatever a few years ago by the Republicans. Obamacare is just reinforcing the AMA and big Pharma cartels. It was never about you.
2) Bush ended the war in Iraq by signing a legally binding contract with the Iraqi gov't in 2008 which required that the U.S. withdraw by December 31, 2011. A contract which the Obama whitehouse was actively engaged in attempting to extend. Within months of being in office, Obama authorized the troop surge, and recently he announced troops would remain in Afghan land until 2024. He also is currently expanding the American murder spree in the Middle East (Libya, Yemen, Pakistan, Syria, etc.) and we have special forces in Africa killing more people. You also can't forget the murder of Anwar al-Awlaki and his 16 yr old son both of which were American citizens. Oh, and Gitmo is still open for biz.

4) If Obama believed in equality for all I could rob banks and launder money without being personally liable.
5) Short-term clean energy jobs that don't last long. Also, the very term "clean" is debatable. Neodymium refining in Mongolia and China heavily pollutes the environment. Up to a few tons of neodymium is needed in each windmill and a few pounds are required for each electric car battery.
6) Student loans may be more affordable, but college is not. Now it is just easier to get into even more debt. College degrees are approaching worthlessness. The student loan debt bubble will implode within the next decade or two, and it will need to be bailed out with more taxpayer money.
7) But, he let's Warren Buffet get away with not paying $1 billion in back owed taxes.

I'm in North Texas, and I've seen like maybe TWO Romney bumper stickers, where one of them was BARELY visible. When I went to SW Louisiana and back this weekend, I recall seeing ZERO Romney bumper stickers. Ditto Obama 12 - I don't see any of those wherever I go(although I still see Obama 08).

When George W ran again in 2004, I saw PLENTY of "W. in 2004" bumper stickers, and ditto McCain in 2008.

Washington (CNN) - Ron Paul's presidential campaign isn't done fighting for more delegates at the Republican National Convention.
 
The Texas congressman's campaign sent a memo to the all RNC members, its counsel's office and the convention's credentials committee Friday evening, ahead of its second appeal to strip Louisiana of its delegates to the convention because of rules that it says were violated during the state convention.

"I think that it's unfortunate that the state party and a lot of our people, our time has been tied up by this for the past couple of months to the convention instead of working to defeat Barack Obama," Doré said.

Romney supports audit of the Federal Reserve

Borrowing Rep. Ron Paul's presidential campaign push, Mitt Romney said Monday he thinks the Federal Reserve should face an audit.
 
"Very plain and simple, the answer is yes. The Federal Reserve should be accountable. We should see what they're doing," Mr. Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, said at a town hall in New Hampshire.
 
Mr. Paul, the Texas congressman who is still technically in the running for the Republican nomination, though he does not have the delegates to win it at next week's convention, made an audit of the Fed a chief part of his campaign.
 
Earlier this year, the House passed Mr. Paul's bill to grant the Government Accountability Office the power to conduct such a broad audit, though Senate Democrats have shown no inclination to bring that bill to the floor.

On Monday, at the town hall, someone asked, "Isn't it time to audit the Federal Reserve?" and Mr. Romney didn't hesitate.

WASHINGTON (AP) — In a move criticized by human rights organizations, the Obama administration has decided to exempt Yemen and three other countries that use child soldiers from U.S. penalties under the 2008 Child Soldiers Prevention Act.
 
In a memorandum to Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, President Barack Obama said he had determined that “it is in the national interest of the United States” to waive application of the law to Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan and Yemen. He instructed Clinton to submit the decision to the Congress with a written justification for the move.
 
Obama’s memo, released by the White House on Monday, did not include the justification**. Administration officials have said, however, that cutting off military aid to those four countries as required by the law would do more harm than good. And they have said that continuing close cooperation with them can be a more effective way of changing their practices.

Some unprecedented news today, folks. Never in the history of the United Nations has a U.S. President taken the chairmanship of the powerful UN Security Council. Perhaps it is because of what could arguably be a Constitutional prohibition against doing so. To wit: Section 9 of the Constitution says:
 

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Nonetheless, the rotating chairmanship of the council goes to the U.S. this month. The normal course of business would have U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice take the gavel. However, this time will be different. Constitution be damned, Barack Hussein Obama has decided to put HIMSELF in the drivers seat, and will preside over global nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament talks slated to begin September 24th. The Financial Times says:

Barack Obama will cement the new co-operative relationship between the US and the United Nations this month when he becomes the first American president to chair its 15-member Security Council.
 
The topic for the summit-level session of the council on September 24 is nuclear non-proliferation and nuclear disarmament – one of several global challenges that the US now wants to see addressed at a multinational level.
 
UN officials also hope a climate change debate on September 22 will give fresh impetus to the search for a global climate deal at Copenhagen in December. There are also hopes a possible meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli prime minister, and Mahmoud Abbas, Palestinian Authority president, that Mr. Obama would host, could lead to a breakthrough about a timetable for Middle East peace.

OSLO — The announcement drew gasps of surprise and cries of too much, too soon. Yet President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday because the judges found his promise of disarmament and diplomacy too good to ignore.

The five-member Norwegian Nobel Committee – four of whom spoke to The Associated Press, said awarding Obama the peace prize could be seen as an early vote of confidence intended to build global support for the policies of his young administration.

They lauded the change in global mood wrought by Obama's calls for peace and cooperation, and praised his pledges to reduce the world stock of nuclear arms, ease U.S. conflicts with Muslim nations and strengthen its role in combating climate change.

"Some people say – and I understand it – 'Isn't it premature? Too early?' Well, I'd say then that it could be too late to respond three years from now," Thorbjoern Jagland, chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, told the AP. "It is now that we have the opportunity to respond – all of us."
