Cairo (CNN) -- Egyptian protesters threw tomatoes and shoes at U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's motorcade Sunday and shouted, "Monica, Monica, Monica" as she left the newly reopened U.S. Consulate in Alexandria.
Clinton said she was in the city to answer critics who believe Washington has taken sides in Egyptian politics. There were already vocal protesters at the start of her visit to the consulate, forcing the ceremony to be moved inside.
"I want to be clear that the United States is not in the business, in Egypt, of choosing winners and losers, even if we could, which, of course, we cannot," Clinton said at the ceremony to reopen the consulate, which was closed in 1993 because of budget constraints.

This is excellent! Bravo!! I wish people would peacefully stand up in numbers for what is happening here!!! If everyone stood up peacefully everywhere for their political suffrage then we would see changes everywhere and the fear would disappear. I know we all god different opinions and perspectives but all it takes is that little bit of unity and putting away that fear to make that change happen. That is all it takes to make that change.

I am by no means pro-muslim or pro-fundamentalist of any sort but I think this is good. Finally some want to decide for themselves and the future of their own country without waiting for orders coming from the US or elsewhere.

Hillary got the boots, the shoes and tomatoes.

I hope this will not be the last time.

Hurrah Egyptians!!!
