I hope Ron Paul runs independent.

He won't, because for one thing it would be way too costly at this point to get on the ballot as an independent (it's amazing how blissfully unaware most people are of just how rigged ballot access laws are against 3rd party and independent candidates), and for another it would likely cost Rand his coveted speaking slot at the Republican national convention.

At first glance, Ron's refusal to endorse Romney may seem like an act of political bravery, but not so much when one considers (a) the fact that Ron will be retiring in seven months, (b) how Rand's endorsement of Romney was obviously "coordinated" with Ron (a fact which Alex himself has acknowledged several times over the last ten days), and (c) Ron's refusal to criticize Romney in any meaningful way (as I've said before, calling Romney a "flip-flopper" is like calling Hitler a "jaywalker").

The fix is already in. No matter which of the two major party candidates (Obama or Romney) loses this year's so-called "election," the international bankers win.

The only chance we have of turning this around is through "mass struggle" (to quote Webster Tarpley):

But to do that we must start being our own leaders, and we can hardly do that if we're too busy being cheerleaders for someone else.
