One of my hobbies is drawing. I drew Alex yesterday. It wasn't too bad. What do you think? Shocked

Well, it's not bad. I've see much worse. Having taken some art classes including drawing, I can see you might benefit from studying drawing the human face. And practice, a lot. There are some videos online that show you how to do it quickly and properly. Also study and practice perspective drawing for inanimate objects to get the proper angles, dimensions, and vanishing points. I would also look into focal points.

Indeed it is. I'm more of a technical artist. Organic objects not so much. But there are basic techniques that make the alignment of things and proportions look right.

One of my favorite things, is to blaze a fat one and load up a video or 2 from youtube from "the joy of painting" by Bob Ross, a PBS channel thing.

This f**ker can paint - give him 2 mins and see for yourself... very insightful.

Oil painting and pencil drawing is two totally different things. Never could handle Bob and his "happy trees".

It's great! I love all the little details you put into it - the computer, calendar, microphone, the "on air" sign... you really create 'the studio' in that drawing. I hope you keep it up!
