Help me understand Syria..

I see nearly every day stuff going on about Syria and it makes me sad nothing has been done, usually the USA government is quick to start launching attacks on other countries. It is very sad and depressing to know that women and children are killed, so I try to stay away from those stores but they come back every day. I even saw a video on Youtube showing Syria troops burying alive a protestor (the soldiers faces were not shown but they were speaking Arabic).

I want to ask you people here, could it be Assad is behind all the attacks? Is he really ordering soldiers to do these acts, would soldiers carry these attacks out or think twice? The media here in UK is quick to point the finger at Assad they even showing a documentary about him now on Channel 4..

Humans rights usually b*** quickly to, but when USA do these things hardly no one talks about it. USA has been doing this for years to..
