Honestly, until songs like "God Bless the USA" are dumped in favor of songs like this, one can say that people don't even acknowledge there is a problem.  Just requesting it is an act of dissent.

Good suggestions, KD7ONE.

The OP song won't get played because even if it was not controversial, it isn't of the quality required for radio play.  You'd certainly get it played on college radio as I've heard all sorts of stuff from the overnight kids at a few campuses, but a licensed commercial station wouldn't touch that song due to the quality of both the music itself and the recording.  Not dissing it outright, just saying that if you're going to try and make an impact on modern commercial radio, you have to use the current standards for what they're looking for.

Hell, if they'd play just anything of any quality, my shit would be on the A rotation =P.
