Residents of a Chicago condo received a letter from management last week informing them that they should move out of their homes during the upcoming NATO confab to be held in the Windy City next month. If the residents decide to remain, they will be subjected to a lockdown.

“In the event of a riot or the potential of one near the building,” the letter states, “all access doors will be locked including the garage door. For everyone’s safety we will be instructing anyone in the building to stay in his or her unit.”

Aaron Klein, writing for WorldNetDaily on Saturday, said radicals with ties to Obama plan to riot during the NATO summit.

In August of 2011, Klein said the founders of a “radical group that teaches tactics of direct action, confrontation and intimidation” were among a “slew of extremist organizations, some tied to President Obama, preparing protests to coincide with major NATO and G-8 summits in Chicago.”

Klein quoted Joe Losbaker of the United National Antiwar Committee, one of the groups planning protests, who warned, “The wars and economic policies of the NATO and G8 nations are not just and will be met by protest.”

Losbaker and his wife, Stephanie Weiner, worked as leaders of the Chicago New Party. It was formed by the Democratic Socialists of America, ACORN and the labor union SEIU. The Communist Party USA breakaway group Committees of Correspondence and the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) were also involved in forming the New Party.

According to WND, Obama was a member of the now defunct New Party and his name was included in the party’s newsletter.

The IPS is a Marxist organization formed in the early 1960s. It has received funding from the banker James Warburg, the son of the infamous banker Paul Warbrug. The elder Warburg was instrumental in creating the Federal Reserve and was chosen by President Woodrow Wilson to serve as one of its first members.

It may seem odd for an international banker to fund a Marxist organization supposedly advocating the destruction of finance capital. “If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of superrich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all,” writes the late Gary Allen. “Instead it becomes the logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite.”

Klein said Code Pink also plans to protest during the NATO and G8 summit in May. Code Pink’s co-founder, Jodie Evans, was an Obama fundraiser. She sits on the leadership board of Warburg’s IPS. Code Pink co-founder, Medea Benjamin, set-up Global Exchange, an “anti-globalization” organization that took money from globalist foundations, including the Ford Foundation, John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, Rubin Foundation, and Tides Foundation. The Ford Foundation has a long and sordid history of collaboration with the CIA.

As Infowars.com has exhaustively documented, violence at globalist summits and confabs is invariably instigated by “anarchists” who report to the police. Supposed anarchist violence was used in Ottawa, Pittsburgh, London, Strasbourg and elsewhere to disrupt and discredit anti-globalism and other political groups and provide a pretext for police violence against non-violent protesters.

Former Obama chief of staff and current Chicago mayor, Rahm Emanuel, has used the threat of agents provocateur instigated riots in Chicago next month to brazenly grab more power and further militarize the city’s police. Chicago's Newest Anti-Protest Measures Revealed

Each time a new measure that the city of Chicago is preparing for the coming NATO and G8 summits is unveiled, the tension in the city ratchets up a notch. The latest news comes in the form of reports that Chicago has purchased face shields, and may be considering the implementation of airborne surveillance technology.

As part of the expanded powers given to Mayor Rahm Emanuel for the May summits, the city has authority to accept contracts for goods or services without approval of the City Council or the expected competitive bidding process. The face shields and aerial surveillance technology are the first use of this allowance.

Chicago police officers, and any law enforcement the city chooses to deputize under the measures put in place for NATO/G8, will be equipped with 3,000 new face shields that "will fit easily over gas masks," according to The Chicago Sun-Times.

The nearly $200,000 contract with Super Seer, a Colorado-based company, was made as an "emergency purchase for the G8 summit," according to Super Seer President Steve Smith.

Chicagoist also reported that Chicago will get the latest in aerial surveillance equipment, according to the press release from a company called Vislink:

    The airborne units will transmit to four strategically located ground-based receiver sites providing city-wide coverage and the ability to simultaneously receive real-time images from two aircraft for viewing at the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) operations center. An additional three receive systems will be installed in the city's mobile command vehicles to facilitate field operations.

These measures will be in addition to "snipers that will stand guard from above," reported ABC.

Overarching security jurisdiction for the summits,
which have been designated a national security event,
has already been handed over to the Secret Service.

Only days after clearing Congress, US President Barack Obama signed his name to H.R. 347 on Thursday, officially making it a federal offense to cause a disturbance at certain political events — essentially criminalizing protest in the States.

RT broke the news last month that H.R. 347, the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011, had overwhelmingly passed the US House of Representatives after only three lawmakers voted against it. On Thursday this week, President Obama inked his name to the legislation and authorized the government to start enforcing a law that has many Americans concerned over how the bill could bury the rights to assemble and protest as guaranteed in the US Constitution.

Under H.R. 347, which has more commonly been labeled the Trespass Bill by Congress, knowingly entering a restricted area that is under the jurisdiction of Secret Service protection can garner an arrest. The law is actually only a slight change to earlier legislation that made it an offense to knowingly and willfully commit such a crime. Under the Trespass Bill’s latest language chance, however, someone could end up in law enforcement custody for entering an area that they don’t realize is Secret Service protected and “engages in disorderly or disruptive conduct” or “impede(s) or disrupt(s) the orderly conduct of Government business or official functions.”

The Secret Service serves as the police that protects not just current and former American presidents, but are also dispatched to monitor special events of national significance, a category with a broad cast of qualifiers. In the past, sporting events, state funerals, inaugural addresses and NATO and G-8 Summits have been designated as such by the US Department of Homeland Security, the division that decides when and where the Secret Service are needed outside of their normal coverage.

The email warns volunteers that the NATO summit “may create unrest or another national security incident. The American Red Cross in southeastern Wisconsin has been asked to place a number of shelters on standby in the event of evacuation of Chicago.”

The Red Cross says that the directive came directly from the “City of Chicago and the Secret Service.”

WEST CHICAGO – With their vision obscured by theatrical fog, the drivers and bus aides of Spare Wheels Transportation ventured into school buses Wednesday morning in search of their only passenger – Henry, a training dummy made to represent a 4-foot-9, 80-pound child.

“It’s almost impossible to see,” said Mickey Hicks, the company’s manager of school bus transportation.

Hicks kept an eye on his watch, calling out the time it took the employees to rescue Henry from the simulated bus fire.

The times – 25 seconds and 15 seconds, for example – were below the two minutes Hicks said drivers have to evacuate students. But in a real-world situation, the adults could be dealing with multiple students and some in wheelchairs, some who are autistic, and some with other disabilities.

“In a crisis situation, you just never know how they’re going to react,” Hicks said of the children.

Located in West Chicago along Fabyan Parkway just east of Kirk Road, Spare Wheels Transportation provides transportation for students in the Batavia, Geneva, Kaneland, St. Charles and U-46 school districts, Hicks said.

May's NATO summit in Chicago is still weeks away, but residents of the Windy City can expect to see armed federal agents patrolling the streets in preparation much sooner than that.

Three weeks before international heads of state will converge in Chicago, Illinois for the annual NATO conference, the US Federal Protective Service will send armed officers into the city’s downtown district to prepare for the swarm of protesters expected to arrive in time for the event, slated for May 20 and 21.

Both the NATO and G-8 summits were initially scheduled to occur back-to-back in the major Midwest city, but the meeting between the world’s eight leading economies has since been relocated to Camp David, the fortified presidential retreat in Maryland used as a getaway destination for many of America’s past commanders-in-chief. As of now, however, the NATO summit will take place in Chicago and, citing concerns over how demonstrators may respond, law enforcement is being called in early to size up the city.

Beginning May 1, the Federal Protective Service agents will be in Chicago for “Operation Red Zone.” Although the officers will not necessarily be restricting residents from accessing any public spaces that they are normally permitted to enter, the agents will be patrolling — in complete battle gear.

“Will you see a highly visible police force? Yes,” the FPS’ Cleophas Bradley told federal employees, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. “But we will not be preventing anyone from entering the red zone.”

Bradley adds that the officers on patrol will be outfitted with weapons that can fire off “non-lethal” projectiles, much like the firearm that cracked the skull of war veteran Scott Olsen during an Occupy Wall Street protest in Oakland, California last year.

An Indiana county municipal official in the vicinity of Chicago reveals the contents of his meetings with FEMA and the Department of Homeland Security. The initial requests seem reasonable enough when FEMA asks the county officials to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan to deal with flooding, fires, high winds and tornadoes.

But as the required meetings and calls with FEMA and DHS continue over a two year period their request become more unusual, raising suspicions of county officials

During the legally mandated meetings held with FEMA and DHS different disaster scenarios were reveled to county officials:

In late December 2008 municipal officials were invited to Indianapolis for a briefing on the state of Indiana. There were told if industry were to collapse for example GM going bankrupt resulting in mass unemployment a depression would soon follow and municipalities could expect to loose 40% of their funds.

Every county in the nation would be required to prepare a Hazard Mitigation Plan.
The county should prepare a plan to vaccinate the entire population within 48 hours and practice the plan several times.
FEMA inquired to where mass graves could be placed in the county and would they accept bodies from elsewhere.
The sheriff’s department via the state sheriff association was told that no .223 ammunition rounds would be available as the military would be purchasing all stocks.

The county was asked to make plans for “hardening” of police and fire stations, putting in hardened bunker type buildings around town.

The county was asked to make plans for the possibility of up to 400,000 refugees from Chicago.

Mothballed for a decade, the Joliet Correctional Center could be temporarily reopened to serve as a detention facility for those arrested for serious offenses during the May 20-21 NATO summit.

Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart says his first choice was to use Division 3 at Cook County Jail before the once-empty division had to be filled with detainees over the last two months.

A less desirable alternative was to put up tents in the yard at Cook County Jail.

But, Dart said the solution that makes the most sense is Joliet, the hulk of a prison facility mothballed in 2002.

         Is there a false flag in the works?


CHICAGO (CBS) – Is there a secret plan to evacuate some residents of Chicago in the event of major trouble during the NATO summit next month? CBS 2 has uncovered some evidence that there is. It comes from the Milwaukee area branch of the American Red Cross.

CBS 2 News has obtained a copy of a Red Cross e-mail sent to volunteers in the Milwaukee area.

It said the NATO summit “may create unrest or another national security incident. The American Red Cross in southeastern Wisconsin has been asked to place a number of shelters on standby in the event of evacuation of Chicago.”

According to a chapter spokesperson, the evacuation plan is not theirs alone.

“Our direction has come from the City of Chicago and the Secret Service,” she said.

Officials at Chicago’s Office of Emergency Management and Communication said the directive did not come from them.

The U.S. Secret Service did not return calls for comment.

Some downtown residents told CBS 2’s Mike Parker that the news has them on edge.

Brad Klein said it is “very unnerving. I feel a little bit unsafe, just a bit more than a little bit. It doesn’t make me feel like I want to be in the city during the NATO conference.”

Wow.  It looks to me that these people are scared to death, about what could happen at that summit.  They are petrified of the people and it shows.  I hope people start realizing that a normal government who isn't doing anything wrong would not go through all this.  They would be comfortable around their own people.  Obviously these leaders have something to fear.

Well, sounds like this is a threat for anyone flying in the area of Chicago. Feel sorry for the small plane pilot not in the know.  Airports should be closed.

Here is another threat of the same type only they are saying they even will shoot down a "passenger" jets if they fly into their airspace when the olympics are on.

If Transportation Security pat downs at public venues, thousands of drones over the skies of America, and the National Security Agency’s new Echelon-like listening center in Utah weren’t enough to convince you that we’re living in a police state, then perhaps the latest news out of Chicago will change your mind.

As world leaders prepare to meet in the windy city for their annual NATO summit, U.S. federal officials are working feverishly to implement a security net so broad that it encompasses the entirety of Cook County, Illinois. While international summits are traditionally met with a larger police presence and preparations for the possibility of protests or rioting, what’s taking place on American soil in anticipation of the May 20 meeting in downtown Chicago can be interpreted in only one way – the implementation of regionalized martial law.

Last week Red Cross officials reported that the City of Chicago, Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service had instructed them to prepare for a mass evacuation of the city in the event of an emergency during the NATO summit. The Red Cross was to prepare to shelter and feed residents in the event of such an evacuation.
