Entirely predictable, more like. Survation had them drawing level last week and the usual crowd were calling it a dodgy poll. Well eat this!

Shock poll puts Ukip ahead of Lib Dems
http://www.politics.co.uk/news/2012/04/17/shock-poll-puts-ukip-ahead-of-lib-dems

The Liberal Democrats have fallen into fourth place behind Ukip in a shock poll result which will cement a sense of crisis in the party.

Just a day after a poll found the Liberal Democrats would be all but wiped out if a general election were held now, a YouGov survey for the Sun put the party on eight per cent – one point behind Ukip.

We have local elections on May 3rd so I'm hoping the Lib Dems are crushed into oblivion, regardless of UKIP's performance.

The UKIP Surge is Not a “Shock”
http://order-order.com/2012/04/17/the-ukip-surge-is-not-a-shock/

Lots of chatter this morning about the “shock” poll that has seen UKIP overtake the LibDems, but once again it seems people just haven’t been paying attention. UKIP bloggers like Michael Heaver have been tracking this trend for months and predicted it was only a matter of time...

I couldn't find anywhere if UKIP supports the Magna carta and the Bill of Rights of 1689. I have asked them to clarify since on their website they say they want to abolish the European Convention on Human Rights but it doesn't say if they recognise the above declarations as lawful and as the right law of the land.

just write them in like I did at my local elections last year. This probably invalidated my ballot paper but I would rather vote for the right party than to make a compromise for tyranny.

While not perfect, they are the best use of a vote in a UK Election.
