Idea for Organization

I don't know how to create this personally, but my hope is that someone will take the idea and do something with it..

I think the website needs a flash application that's a map of the world, that will show the general locations of users who 'opt in' in their preferences, with a dot. Just a dot in their general location, no name or personal info of any kind shown. People could see how many or how few infowarriors there are in their towns or local areas and click on dots near them to send messages in attempt to organize some activity. Also people should be able to drop "area messages" to say for example, all dots within 5 miles of them, or all dots within 10 miles of 'some place', to let people know when important things are happening in their cities, like protests or important court cases or other events.

I'm sure there are many other features that could be worked in, but even with just that I think this would be a really effective weapon in the infowar.

Yeah I think we infowarriors need to network and set up localized communities so we can organize and support each other.  MEETUP.COM is good too...  But hey for starters I'm in Milwaukee, WI if anyone's from around the area and wants to network shoot me an email.
