yup. using a beloved pop culture icon to test the reaction of the masses. jesus and/or aliens are coming soon, like it or not. the same thing was done with freddie mercury of the band queen and it was eerily real. if no one knew you would have been able to tell it was a hologram. i think it was CNN that also did something similar during an interview with black eyed peas singer "will.i.am". shits about to get real son.......

San Diego company AV Concepts, whose work includes Brat Pitt's reverse aging in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," the youthful Jeff Bridges in "TRON: Legacy," and the holographic Gorillaz performance for the 2005 Grammys, was hired on to create the Tupac hologram. AV Concepts president Nick Smith said of the technology, "You can take their likenesses and voice and ... take people that haven't done concerts before or perform music they haven't sung and digitally recreate it."

But, it would have been impossible to fake the calls on 9/11...
