for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline remained about flat at
$3.94 a gallon
in the last day, according to Friday's update from the AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report
.
The price has climbed 18 cents, or about 5%, from
$3.76
a gallon
one month ago
.
A week ago
, gasoline cost an average of just under
$3.93 a gallon
.
The latest price of $3.94 a gallon is
up nearly 6%
from the average of $3.73 a gallon
one year ago
