The man actually makes sense when he speaks.

He's the only candidate that seems genuine rather than some cardboard cut-out repeating the same ol' rhetoric; even raising topics like the Federal Reserve.

As a non-American, could the Americans on the boards maybe give their views on why Paul receives so little support?

Is there "funny business" going on behind the scenes; or are so many Americans really so uninformed as to what is taking place in their country and simply remain fixated on the Democrat / Republican sideshow.

It is a combination of both.

For those that know about Ron Paul and want to be delegates there is a lot sabotage and dirty tricks to keep Ron Paul from getting the Republican nomination.  Most of those who know about Ron Paul found about him through the Internet.  Most older Americans get their information from national news papers and big four corporate news channels (ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX) so they have not been exposed to Ron Paul's views.

In addition,  the corporate media does not like to bring up economic topics and provide in depth discussion about Federal Reserve.  You will see Ron Paul on C-SPAN or cable business channels but you rarely see local media or major nightly news discuss the Federal Reserve let alone have someone who opposes the FED.  Ron Paul's stance against illegal wars and War on Drugs challanges the Military Industrial Complex which makes trillions by killing hundred of thousands abroad and enslaving us in the US so the media rarely discusses these topics.

Most Americans know something is wrong with their country but have hard time seeing through the puppets to the real owners of this country.  For example, most conversative dislike Obama, but refuse to see he is product of the CIA, one arm of military industrial complex they worship so much.

... subtle (and not so subtle) brainwashing for one thing. Stupidity a second thing.
Total indifference another thing. So many people don't have two thoughts to
rub together and if they do, at least one of those thoughts is not their own.

Americans DO vote for Ron Paul, and have been in primaries and caucuses all over the country by the millions... A better question would be "Why don't Election Officials COUNT the Ron Paul Votes?"... That would get you closer to the root of the problem...

Witness missing counties in Iowa, NH, Maine, SC and the landslide fraud attempt in Missouri... You can't cure the problem if you can't even pin point its true cause...

+++ 1000 JT!

Problem is if you try to say something on the Ron Paul forum, the mods don't like it.

Cuz a good portion of Americans won't care until they are loaded up onto the FEMA trucks and heading to the FEMA Camps.

The rampant railroading of Ron Paul delegates and outright election fraud is the only reason Ron Paul hasn't won a majority of delegate seats to the national convention.  Look up the unity vote scheme that Romney, Santorum, and Gingrich supporters are engauging in.  People do vote for Ron Paul.  I believe Ron Paul has won a majority of county delegates, however, once the vote for state delegates comes around the unity vote scheme is employed and Ron Paul delegates are railroaded out of state seats even if they have more county delegates than any other party.

I witnessed this first hand today as a candidate for state deligate.  I lost along with every other Ron Paul delegate even though we had more county delegates than any other individual candidate.

My advice to any Ron Paul supporters in states with nonbinding delegate seats who have not caucused yet is to declare their support for Romney or Santorum so that you can get elected and then simply vote for Ron Paul once you get to Tampa.

Ron Paul is just going to have to run independent and have his supporters get out the word.

Otherwise it'll be another sham election between Bilder-Obama and Bilder-Romney.

Americans DO vote for Ron Paul, and have been in primaries and caucuses all over the country by the millions... A better question would be "Why don't Election Officials COUNT the Ron Paul Votes?"

Because those officials know from experience that the people who rightly complain about election fraud are so terrified of being accused of "sour grapes" or of being called "sore losers" that they'll never pursue criminal charges against them, and that they (election riggers) will therefore never be held accountable for their actions.

Rigged elections are merely a means; the end is a global fascist police state.

So opponents of election fraud must decide which they're more afraid of: (a) living as deeply-impoverished, militarily-repressed slaves to a handful of ruling-class parasites, or (b) being called names.
